The staff at BOR were very receptive and responsive to my needs and arranged to replace my converters. Unfortunately, after all their hard work my check engine light came back. It turns out that when BOR discussed my repair options I opted for the cheap route and asked them to buy aftermarket converters. When I came back they found an exhaust leak and fixed that, and the light came back a second time I relented and asked them to get OEM converters. The OEM converters fixed the problem and my pickup is running great again! I have nothing but praise for how BOR worked with me, accommodated all my choices, and bent over backwards to help me get my truck working.

I gave them every benefit of the doubt. What I got in return was a $10,000 engine replacement estimate and a lazy guess. After eight full days of silence, they finally looked at the truck and performed a basic compression test. They found low readings on two cylinders and immediately recommended a full engine swap. No leak-down test. No spark plug inspection. No timing verification. Just a vague shrug and a five-figure solution. Here's the kicker: * They performed the wrong test first * Then charged again to do the right one * That's double billing for diagnostic failure A leak-down test is the industry standard when compression is low--it tells you why it's low. They didn't perform one until I hounded them. That's not oversight. That's negligence. When I finally arranged a tow to get it out of there on October 22, they refused to release the vehicle until I paid. Fair enough--but their phones were "offline for two days," yet their voicemail worked. Convenient. Then they charged me a 3% fee for using a Visa card. That's not standard. That's gouging. The technician who texted me couldn't write a coherent sentence. His diagnosis read like a fifth-grade book report. I wouldn't trust this shop to change a bicycle tire, let alone diagnose a complex engine issue. Yes, I was spoiled during years of living in SoCal where auto detailing is an art widely, and competitively practiced. The basics were done OK: wash, polish, wax, steam clean interior. But the paint touch-up was not a great match. And when I got home I found a plastic trim item loose and had to fix it. The rubber at the bottom of one window was not as clean as the others. They removed the rubber bottoms of a couple of cup holders and did not replace them. None of this is awful, but for $370 to detail, buff headlight covers and touch up paint, I expected better service.

And what I experienced was NO pressure on needing to change and cabin or air filters every time! I asked about them and they said they didn't need changing. The dealership pressured me EVERY time to get new filters. Last visit was for a Cooling system fluid flush and they changed the filters then, all at a reasonable cost and time frame. Avonly at the front counter is personable and friendly. On one occasion where I chose to wait for my car I watched her help customers and take calls. In one instance a caller wanted some sunroof help. She explained that they didn't service sunroofs. She referred them to another place that does and told them if they couldn't find help there they would take a look at it as a courtesy to see if they could help. Another example of their excellent customer service was after I had paid I happen to mention the spoiler on my Sante Fe hatch was loose and a nut had come off that secured it. She and another technician came out and in less than 10 minutes had it properly back on and checked all fittings to make sure it was safe. (no charge) I miss this kind of hometown service. I will patronize them and share my experience with others looking for the same awesome treatment.

I was contacted on Monday that they would be able to begin working on my vehicle between Wednesday and Thursday. as of today, Thursday, I was contacted by a different person from this business claiming that they had attempted to call me yesterday, but from a personal phone and left no voicemail, stating that the shop is closed and will not be available for work for up to two more weeks. the people aren't even communicating with each other and are wasting peoples time and money. they need to fully post that they are closed to business and tell tow companies and insurance not to bring vehicles in until they are functional again. this is outrageous and a complete waste of the last five days where I possibly could have had it already looked at and addressed at an actual shop that is operating normally and honestly. highly dissatisfied and disappointing.

When I went to pick up the truck because it took so long they gave me an estimate of $800 to fix the windshield wipers motor and linkage. To fix the motor they estimated 500 plus and that was after they took off the $186 they charge me to diagnose the issue. I took it in to get the windshield wipers fixed. When I went to pick it up they charged me $186 to diagnose not only the windshield wiper issue but they chose on their own to also check my brakes and something else. I did not give them permission or request to have them do this. I would not have objected to maybe $100 even though my friend diagnosed it was the windshield wiper motor simply by turning on the ignition and he heard no clicking or something like that which meant there was no power going to the box. They said they checked the wiring and the fuse even taking that into consideration I don't see where it would cost $186 for that amount of time. My main complaint is they went beyond what I asked them to do they did not quote how much it would cost to diagnose this and I've heard this from other people that they go in to have something done and they charge for diagnosing things that weren't asked for. So basically I would just warn people if you're going to take your car or truck in you should ask them what it would cost to diagnose it. In addition I had had my brakes just fixed the month before so there was no reason to diagnose it. It cost me $800 to have my brakes done they quoted me 1800. This was just for the rear brakes.

Terrible customer service. They quote you a low price and then charged $200 more! They broke a part…read moreon my upper console last summer while my car was in the shop. They then charged me to replace it for $120! I was quoted $42 last year. I was clearly overcharged. It's a two piece cap that snaps together. Charged me for each side!! Thru didn't rotate my tires. They wouldn't help at all. I wanted a $60.99 refund for not defining the part was two part. So stupid. You can't have one side and not the other. These guys aren't even open on the weekends!! I don't know how they stay in business. It was a 30,000 mile check up!! So I called on a Monday to complain. I was told Nicholas would research it and get back to me. Exactly 5 days later no phone call back and they are closed till Monday. So I called back the next Monday and were given the run around about one part being sold as two separate pieces. They are crazy. I'm very disappointed and won't buy my nest Volkswagen there!!
