Great place. We came in for breakfast on Sunday around noon. Our server was Brittany, and she was awesome. She took great care of us despite having a trouble table next to us. My husband and I eat breakfast here once a week, so it's a favorite. Small cafe/diner type place, not a chain. Good breakfasts, though I usually have to do a lot of substitutions to get what I want and they are okay with that! Servers are competant, polite to friendly, and fast. Plain pancakes, not much option there. Lots of different breakfast meat choices, even gyros and corned beef hash. They also serve lunch items, but we've never eaten those, look to be the same good (but not excellent) quality. It's a busy place as a rule, but they seem to move customers fairly quickly. read more

Love this place!! Prices are great, and service is even better. They can get very busy and, as such, sometimes the staff can't stop by your table every 5 minutes to see if you need more water, etc. But they DO come around as often as they can and are VERY friendly- always smiling! (: if you ever need their attention, a refill, etc but they haven't come by in a while, just look around and make eye contact with them. They'll come right over (: They food is very home style, old fashioned and hearty- no "cheesecake pancakes" or anything ridiculous. Forgot items for everyone's meal at the table. Forgot toast! Burnt the hell out of the ribeye in the ribeye and eggs breakfast. Literally had to remove charred carbon from the plate to eat the rest which was overdone. Omelet was OK. Salsa was tomato sauce. Quesadilla had rice in it? My husband and I had a late breakfast/early lunch on July 4th. Food was okay- but the service was poor. Our waitress was nice enough, but I didn't feel she gave any sense of urgency. She didn't even come back after she brought our food to ask how everything was. I had to interrupt her chatting with some folks to tell her there was something wrong with the order. In the end, I was waiting for her to pass our table so I could ask for a to go drink, but ended up telling another waitress. The other waitress ended up yelling to our waitress. If you are looking for boxed and frozen food heated up you should try the Allen cafe! Why do restaurant owners think it is cheaper to buy premade food than fresh produce. The hash browns were premade, gravy from a box, pancakes were disgusting, and bacon was soggy and old. The way they cook bacon is they cook a bunch when they open that morning then let it sit under a heat lamp all day...so yummy! The owners need a wake up call on what they serve. At least need someone to watch the plates that come out of kitchen and stop serving 2 hour old bacon... We won't be going back here. No one even ask how we were until she dropped off ticket. read more
