We were trying to figure out where we wanted to go for breakfast after dropping off my eldest niece at school so my sister suggested this place. She didn't suggest it for it's great food, warm atmosphere and friendly staff. No she suggested it because it was part of a scene in House Hunters where the "hunters" were mulling over if house 1, 2 or 3 fit the bill! We even made sure we were seated at the same table they sat at, crazy right? I chuckle when I think about what the staff might have thought about our crazy selves being all excited about this! Oh well it was a fun time regardless and the food was great! I had some kind of healthy omelette while Sis nabbed waffles for her and my youngest niece to share. My husband and I have come here a few times and overall, our experience has always been a good one. The staff is very nice and it seems as though many of the customers there are regulars so that's a good sign. The food is good there. I haven't found anything yet that has blown me away, but I don't have any complaints about the things that I have tried. My husband has always enjoyed his selections as well. Great food, just wish I could have enjoyed it. I had eaten half of a my waffle and once slice of my bacon, told the waitress I was going to the restroom, come back to finish and everything has been cleared from the table. I absolutely adore this little cafe. My boyfriend grew up in the area, and we used to come here at least every other Sunday for breakfast. It is usually very busy, with a wait. And as I like to say to those impatient, can't stand in line people - "A line means there is something really good worth waiting for at the end." But it moves fast. I have never waited over 15 minutes. Service is always pleasant, patient and timely. The price is unbeatable and the omelets are on point. When we arrived at our table, Mary greeted us with a smile and was very attentive. I ordered two eggs over easy with gyro meat. The order came out fast and was great. The open faced turkey sandwich was literally white sandwich bread with some sliced turkey breast from a packet and a side of instant potato smothered in brown packet gravy. Yuck! I ordered the cinnamon French toast combo with scrambled eggs and sausage. The cinnamon French toast was stellar... they make it with a swirled cinnamon bread so it had just enough cinnamon in it. The sausage was delicious as well. The eggs were on par with most other diners that I've been to. My dad ordered the philly cheese wrap- also VERY good. My parents and I all approved of the food here-- service was very attentive as well. The service is always wonderful no matter who you get, but I adore Mirsada, the very sweet Bosnian(?) waitress. So sweet & attentive... and she remembers his face even with a mask on, haha. He always gets country fried steak (fantastic) and I've tried the cinnamon French toast, 10/10, and the sirloin steak, also 10/10. Came in and ordered breakfast; Steak and Eggs. Asked for Eggs over easy and Medium Well steak. The steak came out with no Pink, no flavor, and was very rubbery. The egg yokes were almost fully cooked not runny like I asked for. On the plus side they had flavored creamer for my coffee which was very nice, the staff was friendly, the restaurant seemed clean, and food came out quick despite them being busy this morning. The Texas breakfast came with some of the best pancakes we've had and the burger was cooked to order right off the grill, both delicious selections.
