I was then contacted by text by a robot masquerading as a human offering to help me make an appt. I stupidly made the appointment. What followed was tons of phone calls purporting to be from the business (the robot told me to ignore if I wanted to keep my appt., so I did). Finally they got through to me, explained that they are using AI (and not training it for the job) and so the appointment it made me, the price it quoted me, and all the info I gave it were not in their system. In addition, the appt was scheduled for a time that is not available and the price was incorrectly quoted. I had changed my schedule to accommodate the original appointment time and now this human wants me to change it all back cause they gave the call to a robot who gave me an appointment at a time not available? I spent over an hour trying to set up this appointment between the calls and texts and ended up cancelling. I just need a filter cleaned on a mini-split. Shouldn't be this hard. I don't do business with companies who are too lazy or too cheap to answer the phone but rather let robots incorrectly give out information to customers. Life is too short. Over the phone Douglas said we likely had a main sewer line blockage and he gave me two fixed prices depending on how hard the job would be. Turned out a tree root was causing the blockage (see photo). Douglas cut it out and fixed our problem, and it was the lower of the two prices.
