Do not use Dr. Sapadin under any circumstance. I made the 1st appointment of the day so I could get back to work at reasonable time and the Dr. never showed up for the appointment, not only did he not show up he never informed the office he would be late or let the patient know he would not be there. It was a kind of bait and switch game, I was offered to see another Dr. He cares more about his baseball memorabilia then he does about his patient. I guess he can offer that kind of bad service when you have one foot out the door for retirement. I did however get a follow up call from the Dr. explaining he had an emergency and offered to make it up to me and even see me on a Sun. and provided me with his personal cell number. read more

So while others have been very pleased with his medical expertise. I AM NOT! I went to see him via a referral. I made an 8:30 am Thursday appointment, hoping to be his first patient of the day - get in, get out. Boy was I wrong, not the case at all. The man wasn't even in the bldg when I checked in. How do I know you ask... Because I heard the front desk lady on the phone with him. He was too concerned with asking her what time She got to work; asking how many patients he had WAITING, and if he had any surgeries that day. SMDH. When she got off the phone, I asked her if he was running late, she replied, "yes, he had to stop at the hospital before coming to the office (A damn LIE, which I later confirmed was a lie). Not too long after, he arrived and I was called and led into the patient room, which was filled with Baseball memorabilia - we'll call it the Baseball Room (some of these items were even autographed - now I knew this visit was going to be costly). The one thing I did like about this practice - his File Management system is current; he uses tablets and takes your picture to attach to your file, so if there are two YaYa's then we can avoid the wrong chart being pulled, by merely looking at the pic on the file. Very Progressive - way to put some money back into the business. Now as for the doctor, Hmmm, he wasn't as sharp as I thought he'd be. You would have thought I had some rare disease was growing on my hand, it took him forever to even spurt anything out his mouth. He had no clue what this blistering rash was on my palm. I even allowed this quack into hoodwinking me into having a Patch Test done. A $1,600.00 Patch Test. Q: What the hell is a Patch Test? A: A Patch Test is a skin test with 80 known chemicals that are in individual square boxes. These chemicals are released onto your skin and whichever makes you itch like a dog being bit by a flea with razor sharp teeth is what chemical you have sensitivity to. This test was supposed to narrow down some of the possible external irritants that could be causing this Mystery Rash. The doc's work was done, which came out to be less time than my wait time. I jokingly asked his assistant if he would be on-time for the removal of this patch, and this is when the Real Truth was revealed. He wasn't at the hospital, he was traveling from Long Island (Home) to Hackensack, NJ. Truth is always better then lies. Just be honest, that makes more sense why he was delayed, and I respect Honest. Removal day came on Sunday (which should have been Saturday - but it was a Jewish Holiday and they left it on me an extra D-Day), and I was sprinting to the office. I discovered I'm reacted to 3 of the 80. So from Thursday to Sunday I scratched like I had a million fleas on my back biting me. The worst feeling ever. After the assistant removed the patch she told me we were done, but i was like, "NO NO NO. I agreed to the test so the doctor could determine the cause." I didn't just pay him $1,600.00 to say "you're done, go home" So, she called in Dr. Quack, and he still couldn't determine what was wrong. We read off the print outs together -- and because my brain is worth somewhere between $125K (degree's cost) Me, Myself, and I determined what it was irritating my skin. This LOONEY TUNE was even suggesting performing a Biopsy of skin AND steroid shots. WTF, are you kidding me. I will not disclose the name of the Baby Products that caused this, but I will say, it's a new baby line, created by an actress, and they are currently being sued in CA. TIP - Because this Patch Test destroyed my back with small burn marks from the chemicals and the tape adhesive (which turns out I'm allergic to). I was told it would go away after a couple days, its been over a four weeks and Im still walking around with scars. For $1,600, get a second opinion, the visit will be cheaper than the cost of the test. read more

Dr Sapadin was highly recommended. There are actually two houses at the site and not a sign to direct the patient. I sat in the quiet waiting room for about r15 minutes. Another patient came in and we chatted. The result is that house is used for specific treatment. Not a sign on the front desk. Over an hour of waiting---then into an examining room filled with sports memorabilia. OK, usually physicians gill their fill their wall with treatment outcomes, gratitude letters, advanced study degrees. I had had melanoma with two surgeries at NYU cancer center. Usually knowing that history dermatologists would carefully examine my whole body. Not him. Does he think melanoma is contagious?? He did not come closer than a foot away. A superficial look, and he said--you're OK--really !! I also mentioned that I get a "heat rash" and coud I get something to make it stop itching. I visited with him today after not seeing him for over a year - he didn't give even give me the time of day and barely viewed my facial/throat skin issue. Prior to my visit with him I spent time with his experienced nurse practioner who gave me more attention and advice than he did. I haven't ever been to a dermatologist before, so I have nothing to compare this visit to. I was scheduled to see a nurse practitioner as my visit was for a very minor issue. (Breaking out right before my wedding!) The office was clean and conveniently located with off street parking. I was early by 20 min, filled out the paperwork and was in and out of the office in 40 min. The woman in the visit was helpful and informative, but she did prescribe me pills and a topical, and I was later told by another professional that the prescription pills were way overboard for my situation. I would go back to this office. I also really liked the aesthetician who uses the office as well. She was very informative and professional and I was very happy with her work and recommendations. read more

I almost gave up with my scalp condition. I suffered for 3 years and couldn't find anyone to help me or even just diagnose me. Dr sapadin seems like a nice man, that is for the 15 seconds you may get to spend with him. That would be after a long wait in his waiting room and another long wait in his treatment room. I was there for a possible melanoma on my face and to get rid of age/sun spots on my face. On prior visits, he had promised to lighten them. Of course he forgot each time, making me feel like a cog on a factory conveyor belt. After my 15 seconds with him, he left; his daughter then appeared (an Estitician) to sell me beauty products; no one asked if that was ok and it wasn't ok. I would never go back here again read more

I had the displeasure of being treated by Dr. Joseph. Went for acne and she told me the root cause of it was "bacterial" umm duh. And "take a lot of probiotics" well thanks to her prescribed treatment my white blood cells elevated & my acne did not subside! Waste of money & so damn rude! They only want your money. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME COMING TO THIS OFFICE. Sure, it's conveniently located, clean, and the staff seems pretty nice, but YOU WILL WAIT FOREVER. I've been waiting in an examination room for AN HOUR. There was only one person ahead of me in the waiting room. This is absurd. My time is just as important as the doctor's. If I showed up an hour late to my appointment I'm sure they would just turn me away or charge me for missing an appointment. I'm never coming back to this joke of an office ever. read more

Dr Sapadin was recommend by my husband who has been going to him for some time now. I've had dermatologist in the past that have taken biopsy after biopsy making me feel like a human pin cushion .. Dr Sapadin is great he explained to me everything I need to know and look for and explained a lot of these biopsy could have been avoided .. It sucks but you live and learn. I went to Dr. Sapadin because I had some kind of bump on my leg. He told me that it could be just a pimple or something else. So, he removed it after local anesthesia. It was quick and no pain. I was worried about the long waiting time that some people wrote. It was not bad and I got out within an hour. Will be there in two weeks to see the biopsy result of the bump as well as healing check up. I am happy with the result. read more

I went to this location hoping to see a Doctor who is informative and would give me their expert opinion. I saw Dr. Christy Joseph. I came here a couple years ago and I absolutely did NOT like the service here , the doctor was rude. Coming in today I had told the assistant the same thing the bad experience last time and that my problem for scars had not been solved. She told me to sit tight and wait the doctor. Sure enough the doctor came and it was the SAME doctor who had been rude to me the first time around. Not only was she RUDE to me this time but she was smiling at the assistant at what I was telling her, she seemed not to care about what I was saying. I had told her what other doctors had recommended and she quote on quote said " idk why you would do that" she was so quick to prescribe something then to hear me out, I tried to tell her about my problems but she wouldn't even let me get a word out.
