First, communication is not a priority once a customer is under contract. During the quote and estimate process, Alex was more than happy to take multiple calls to secure our business but once the deposit and contracts were signed, we were completely in the dark about manufacturer and installation delays. And speaking of the contract, the payment schedule is very front loaded with expectations of 40% payment before any work beyond measurements and ordering of the door. We were quoted 6 weeks for completion. Seaport completed the installation after 14 weeks from the sign date of contract. I understand construction delays but clear communication is critical to minimize frustration. If you're looking for a quality product, Seaport does the job well. Their team of installers were awesome. But expect the runaround from Alex and bad communication and contract policies.
