I've used Take 5 for a while. I typically use them because they offer a 25% discount for veterans,…read moreand that often ends up being a better discount than any of their coupons. I also think it's a nice touch that they give their customers a bottle of water and the price point is the same as anywhere else. I used this location on Cassat for the first time last week for my oil change. The service techs were plentiful and even though they were crowded, they seemed to moving cars in and out quickly. The main tech working on my car was very polite. Once I got home though, I realized that I had to reset my oil sensor myself along with the tire pressure. A day later, I realized that my windshield washer fluid was not filled either. These are all just services that are included and weren't done. Am I done with Take 5? Probably not, but I'm hoping this can be constructive input that they work to correct for next time.

My brake light came on I refilled it and the next morning all of it is on the ground near my rear tire. Drum seals gone(?) so I had it towed to a shop that had some great reviews "Aarons on Spring park" instead of sticking with Parts only because they were closer to where I live now. Aarons calls back yes Drums are gone and the cost to repair $700+ brand new brakes, drums etc. Hold up guys let me call you back and i call johnny and tell him what they said to me. he said Rick you do not need to have all that done and the price seems a little steep. Let me give you a rough estimate. $320+ tow after all was said and done tow and all the total was $385.14. So my recommendation take your car somewhere else have them do an estimate then call Johnny. Odds are you will do better here. DO NOT LOOK for warm and fuzzy and be direct with Johnny he is a mechanic, No I mean a real mechanic someone that would work on a car reach over and eat a Krispy Kreme without washing. I honestly do not think you could do better anywhere in town my brother also goes here and has for years. Not sure how he is Girl wise he is older and I would recommend maybe taking a Dude with you just in case.LOL

Let's just say that if you have any type of condensation underneath your vehicle, they will automatically label it as an all change.Because obviously their technicians do not know the difference between oil radiator power steering brake or transmission fluid. When you call the manager answers the phone. If you start complaining too much or asking too many questions, they hang up the phone on you, then when you call back, they will answer. After I looked and looked I couldn't figure out what it was exactly this shop quoted me nearly $2k for a complete engine replacement. Some of the employees sort of knew what it was but told me they couldn't say anything until the manager/owner gave his opinion. I was also told sourcing the engine was on me which wasn't an issue. My issue just recently surfaced after sitting and trying to figure out what the rattle really was I found out the whole time it was the alternator internally failing and rattling throughout the engine. So for someone who maybe has less money and really needs repairs I advise you do proper research, try a few places because if you're looking for honesty and reliability THIS IS NOT THE PLACE FOR IT! In times where people are actually doing all they can to make things keep going there is always someone somewhere with a tool and no line ready to fuxk you. Again I have proof of my quote, proof of the before and after I replaced this part that was no where near $2k lol. At least I can say the manager/ owner gave a few dollars off the inspection cost because the real money was yet to come.

Therefore, he notified the Service Manager (SR) of the info. The SR researched their computer and informed my husband that they could not beat the price of the tires he located online. Afterward, the SR informed the service advisor to only do the oil change. The service advisor became argumentative with my husband and wanted to know why he no longer wanted the tires. He asked my husband who was going to compensate him for the gas he used to pick up the tires? His behavior was unprofessional and his tone was disrespectful. As a customer you have every right to change your mind before service has started on your vehicle. His gas and the company's responsibility is not our issue. I will never patronize another Midas location and I question their ethics.
