Gentleman showed up exactly when he said he would and fixed my dishwasher. It was $160 for the service call.

Steve is very kind, he arrived on time, knew what parts we needed and once the parts came in, he came back and was done within an hour.

They didn't even charge us to come inspect the fridge after making time for us that day, then talked with the previous company to help have them cover the repairs, and are actively helping us find a replacement within the budget. Going to be going through them for everything going forward, I definitely recommend you do the same.

They said they usually come up on Tuesdays and Fridays. They did a quick diagnosis at no charge, this was on a Friday. They purchased a timer on MONDAY, came back up late Tuesday and installed the timer, $370.00. Was glad to have refrigerator again so went to smiths and stocked up again. The fridge was nice and cold but after a cycle it stopped getting cold again. I called them in panic but they said they couldn't get back to me until the next week, so I lost another $150+ in food again. They said a cold controller this time needed to be replaced but couldn't get the part until the following Monday. I accidentally tapped the cold controller (the THERMOSTAT) while placing my water bottle onto the top shelf. The Fridge came back on. So they confirmed that it needed to be replaced. I kept tapping the Thermostat (what they were calling the "cold control" every 4hrs for about 5days to save my food. but because I had to sleep it shut off in the middle of the night and I lost much of my frozen food again (the third time). The following Monday they contacted me saying that the Thermostat was no longer available so the Fridge can't be repaired. Sorry Buddy you're out of luck. Try placing "Duct tape over the cold control.. , were they kidding? My son was surprised that SEARS PARTS wouldn't have a replacement part. My son contacted SEARS PARTS. They had the Thermostat. I texted ADAM from The Appliance Guys, Co. with the information on the part. They confirmed it, I ordered it, it arrived two days later on a Thursday which was lucky since they come to Los Alamos on Fridays. I let them know I had the part. They said they'd be here the next day late afternoon. The next day on Friday, they contacted me to say that they had a cancellation by another person in Santa Fe. So, IT WASANT WORTH IT TO THEM TO COME UP TO JUST REPAIR MY REFRIGERATOR. "Great customer service?? " really? As a customer I'm not worth it to them??? Maybe next week?? Meanwhile the Fridge stopped working again, lost more food. they never returned and would not respond to my texts/calls! Consequently, I had to wait another week for SEARS REPAIR TECH to come finish the job, more lost food and another $225.00. The SEARS Tech swapped out the "actual faulty part" with the one my son found from SEARS PARTS DIRECT. The Tech also found loose screws, and missed timer adjustments. Avoid these "Guys" at all costs. Just call SEARS or I've heard DNS repair is good. So, it's off to SMALL CLAIMS COURT we go! Unless I receive a refund and get all the costs of lost food back from Joe and Adam..., "The Appliance Guys". PS, I'm 75, don't need that type of bullshit! Oh yes "No Senior Discount offered" either!!

He got right to work, cleaned the dryer well and replaced some drum parts that had worn down. He also cleaned the vent again and got up on the roof to verify hot air was flowing from the vent while the dryer was in use. Even though he didn't arrive on the hour, he still spent the two full hours making sure the dryer was working its best. He left everything clean. Overall, we are very pleased with the results and will call them again for other appliance repairs.

The door locked so we couldn't even get the clothes out. Honestly, we were fully expecting to be told that our washing machine wasn't worth fixing and we should just buy a new one. In a couple of hours, Tim got it running again like new. After that good experience, we asked Tim to do a regular service on our dryer. He was so thorough. I was surprised to see the whole drum removed. Even more surprised to see the amount of lint hidden inside the machine. The vent underneath our microwave had not worked in years. We'd had many repair people try to fix it in the past but with no success. Tim figured out the problem and fixed it very quickly. On top of everything else Tim was a very nice and conscientious professional. We'll definitely be calling him again next time we need an appliance repaired.

Not only did it look dated it just wasn't up to par and by that I mean you could touch the burner on high and not flinch in pain. Heating up a pot of water would take a good hour plus. So we started looking online for the best bang for our buck and struck out. Either they were out of stock, wanted a ridiculous amount for shipping or way out of our price range. A friend recommended we give them a go, so on a Friday morning we walked in not holding our breath. We were quickly greeted asked what we were in the market for and pointed to the display area. Soon after Kenny came up, introduced himself, he was very pleasant and to the point. We told him we needed a gas stove top, 30 inches and stainless steel. We waited for a sales pitch and his response "You looking for the biggest bang for your buck?" We were perplexed...really no sales pitch on the most expensive item? No showing us tons of options? "Let me run to the back see what we have in stock and I'll give you guys a great deal." Well I'll be! He sure delivered. He found us a great stove top, great price, could walk out with it today. We like to compare prices so we informed him we'd mull it over and he was fine with that. He even gave us the option to shop around the competition and call him to see if they could match what we found or he'd give us his honest opinion of a good deal. Needless to say we went back later that day and purchased the stove top. In and out 5 minutes. The only miss was we had to go elsewhere to pick up the item but as it was on the way home it didn't put us out of our way. I'll definitely go back when the time comes to update the other dated items in our new home.

He never advised me that the wall oven may not be at eye-level when installed. I didn't think about it, and the kitchen contractor never advised me. The cooktop and refrigerator were installed when the kitchen was partly finished. I called the salesman to ask about the ice maker; the instructions weren't correct. He said he would come by after the ovens were installed to go over all the appliances. I then went to the showroom and discussed the oven cabinet with him. He told me that the cabinet needed some braces for the shelf, but that wasn't specified in the diagram, nor did the contractor tell me that. I had to have a custom cabinet built to get the ovens in a position they should be in, Then the ovens were installed the end of July. The salesman said he would contact me afterwards, but I still haven't heard from him. So my advice to future customers is to make sure your kitchen contractor tells you exactly where the ovens will be positioned before you buy them. The products are high-end and very expensive, and there should be post-installation service from Builders Source to make sure customers are pleased and know how to use the products.
