He clearly explained the options. You can go with the lower budget plastic housing or upgrade to the metal one that lasts longer and won't crack. That kind of transparency matters. It's hard to find a mechanic you can trust, but these guys are definitely it. We have come here for a few different problems on a 2013 Prius V and 2014 Nissan Juke and they have always returned our cars to us fixed and replaced in a reasonable amount of time. My driver side window stop working and I took it the dealer for the repair. When I got the quote, I was stunned..almost $1,000 for a 2004 Nissan Sentra window regulator & motor repair. I also just happened to mention that my car doesn't turn on first try and based on the diagnostic, I also apparently needed to replace my fuel pump- another $1K. I was looking at about $2K of repairs. I opted to shop around and found Alliance via Yelp. I can't begin to share how great Romero and crew are! When I called Romero and told him what happened, he said that was WAAAYYY too much. He quoted me 1/3 of that price and said to bring my car in. Two days later, I dropped my car off with Romero and team, within the hour, Romero advised that the dealer misdiagnosed my vehicle concerns. The window didn't need a motor/regulator replacement, it was a switch and the my fuel pump was not in dire need of being replaced. Romero told me to wait on fuel pump replacement and focus on my window. I went from $2K to $250. This place is the best! I'm super excited that I have found a great auto care center. Romero and the crew are super friendly, knowledgeable and most importantly have immense integrity. I can't recommend Alliance Auto Care Center enough! read more

I'm giving Alliance 5 stars because of the service the provided. My family and I drove to CA about a month ago to pick up furniture where we needed to tow a trailer. Long story short, we were having issues attaching the hitch to the trailer which caused rattling. Although our issue wasn't to repair our truck, he accommodated and helped us adjust the tow hitch. It was really simple but taking 45 minutes of his time and not charging us anything was really appreciated, but we did get his crew some Starbucks to thank them! Lack of honesty. Poor attitude. Long waiting time and no parking. I paid for fuel injection, airmass sensor service and brake flush. They charged me but did not perform. I got ripped off. They got upset for doing oil change at another location and kick me out. You really cannot trust them for their honesty and quality of work they do. read more

Long overdue review, I should've done it 2 1/2 months ago! I'm from out of town and borrowed my sister's vehicle. I ran into some trouble with her car. Apparently the alternator failed, I looked up a shop where I can get it inspected. Fortunately, the first place I called was Alliance Auto Care which has great reviews! As soon as I called, they were very accommodating and I asked that l bring the car in that day to check it out. The owner Ramiro was helpful in explaining what the issue is & what needed to be done to get it resolved. I didn't feel like I was getting scammed or mistreated because I'm a female unlike some other places I've been to that talked down to me or tried to rip me off. Ramiro & his crew Oscar were able to replace the alternator expeditiously before more problems arose such as the battery wearing out prematurely or other starting issues. Genuinely impressed by how professional, attentive, quick, accommodating Alliance Auto Care was able to repair my sister's car. I needed a clutch change for my car and I contacted local shops that could help me. I talked to Ramiro over the phone around the 3rd week of May asking for a quote. He had the best quote in the area. I asked only for a labor quote because I had all the parts needed for the job. Romero has told me to come in after Memorial Day and said he could have the clutch changed by the end of the day. Ramero, Gabino, Esther and staff are great! I first went here because it was conveniently-located and neighbors spoke well of it. I've been back ever since because I trust Ramero's word, and his prices are extremely fair. The work is top-notch, and many people seem to come from miles away because they know, trust and like the staff at Alliance. If it turns out to be something that DOESN'T need to be fixed right away, or there's a less-expensive option, they'll let you know...that's how honest they are. If you choose to wait for your car, it's adjacent to a tree-lined grassy park, or a block from the green belt running path, or a five-minute walk to the ocean, if you'd like to spend a few hours at the beach. There are also Mediterranen, Mexican, Japanese, and Italian restaurants within a 3 minute walk.
