Yelp took down my review. AVOID! So we got gas for our Toyota Sienna 7/24 the next day 7/25 car's engine shuttered and shut off in the middle of the road. Had to take it to Sunnyvale Toyota, where they confirmed that there is diesel fuel. You know that diesel fuel nozzles are physically bigger than regular gasoline, so you can not put it in. I am writing this review in response to a recent incident happened to my car, as well as my 10+ years experience with this gas station (It was a Shell at the same location before). I use this gas station simply because it is close to my home and relatively cheap. The emplyees in the snack shop are always transient, every now and then I see a new face. Some are great but some are very rude. There was one time that a pump's credit card machine was not working, I tried going in to pay inside, but the employee locked the door and would not open, because it was his "lunch time", I think it was around 3:30 pm. But overall the emplyees are ok, they don't know much just to tend the shop and print receipts. Now, the main theme of this review - this is what happened to my car on July 7, 2024. A day after pumping at #7 pump with regular unleaded, my car's check engine light lit up, and car has lots of jerks and shakings. I took to my mechanic at Cupertino Auto, initially he could not find the problem that caused engine problem. He put it "this is a mystery". The onboard diagonistic shows cylinders misfired on all 6. My car has been in and out of Cupertino Auto 3 times, switch out sparks, injectors, and coils. At the last visit, he showed me the link to the NBCBayArea news talking about some people have engine problems after pumping gas at Alliance. It turned out it's not just "some" people, it's 35+ neighbors are experiencing engine problem after getting regular unleaded there. Each of us spend, and continue spending hefty amount of money to repair our cars. The fuel is polluted, or contaminated, mixed with either diesel or some kind of chemical substances after 6/25/2024. To Yelp support: you need to listen carefully, this is not some kind of media frenzy. It is happening, its gasoline is damaging cars. If you don't believe, send someone here to get gas. 14 people in the last month have received contaminated gas from this station. All cars now in mechanics shops because they are no longer drivable. The owner, Ed Hada, is being evasive and denying this is happening. He will not speak with any of us that have been affected. He continues to say it couldn't have happened. Three more people came forward today with broken down cars because of this stations contaminated fuel. Please BOYCOTT this station for the affected and for yourself not to be a victim too!! I have been using this gas station for over 15 years. I have a 2021 Toyota Highlander and fill it with 87 octane fuel. However, after filling up on June 29, 2024, my car started having trouble with long cranking while starting. This issue persisted for some time, and eventually, the car wouldn't start at all. After a diagnosis at the Toyota Service Center, they identified the problem as gas contamination. They found evidence of water and E10 in the fuel, which had led to extensive damage to the car, costing $14K in repairs. Fortunately, my insurance covered the bill. It appears that the gas station had been supplying contaminated gas for a couple of days, affecting about 25 to 30 cars. Filled my car up here on 6/28/24. I didn't even make it 5 feet from the pump and my car shook and died. Had to have it towed and my mechanic removed green fluid from my gas tank. Thousands of dollars to fix this issue. My mechanic said he did not know what the fluid was. Upon searching online I found another person whom this happened too the same day but a few hours earlier. The very next day the gas station was observed removing barrels from the ground. But if your gas station wasn't the problem why was it taped off and barrels were removed??? I also reported this to the county who went out and took samples. Since the owner and manager did not want to speak to us whom this happened too, then they can now deal with lawyers and our insurance companies read more

Went there during OPEN HOURS last month and put my credit card in the slot to pump gas. The pump hose was locked up so I could not pump the gas. I tried to remove my credit card but it was locked in the slot. No one was in the office and there was no phone number on the door to call for help. There was one other person there experiencing the same thing. Fortunately, the credit card finally released. Previously, my credit card would not work at all even though I had used it 10 minutes earlier at another store. The person in the office was of no help whatsoever. I have used this place a few times just because of the convenience of location, but based on the most recent reviews here I will no longer be patronizing this place. A little more small talk about food and then he asked me where I was from. Sort of an innocent question but what followed was not. He then asked if I were married or single. It's kind of a magical gas station. Not magical enough to rate four stars, but pretty darn magical considering I normally am nowhere near here but was running out of gas quicker than I thought, so I headed with purpose in a direction and promptly ran into all kinds of traffic. I fretted and worried and regretted and stewed, wondering where the heck I would find a gas station and refusing to pay too much. Then this Alliance station appeared, and all my fears melted away--OK, not all of them, but most of them; OK, most of them related to running out of gas. It's conveniently located right next to a credit-union ATM, so if you need cash, get it from there. Somehow, I was closer to the freeway then I had been, even though I had just gotten off of the freeway to look in the wrong place for a gas station. Contaminated Gas Fuel Problem. Alliance Gas Station Cupertino (on Stevens Creek Blvd & Blaney intersection) is selling contaminated gas fuel. After filling up gas here my car engine has totally stopped functioning (as it started misfiring) as they have contaminated gas (diesel mixed in petrol). Many people have faced the same issue and many cars are impacted. The same complaint has been brought up by multiple people in multiple social media platforms like Nextdoor and Yelp. The gas is cheap and so is the service. The mexican girl regular cashier stole $20 from me and i refuse to patronize them anymore. She was always friendly and i watched her get big and have two kids but now she is dead to me. I came in to get gas and gave her $40 but she only programmed $20 into the pump. This location used to be a Shell gas station. Now it looks like an independent. But their gas prices are consistently cheap, and the location is convenient, so I will patronize this shop. One thing that drives me nuts is that their window wipers are super crappy. They are beat up and broken and always leave streaks. Be careful! This place overprices you if you don't pay attention! This place is very near to where I live, and I thought I'd be here often before last night. Got some gas last night from this place. I happened to have some cash with me so I decided to save few cents by paying by cash. Paid 60 bucks. 2.99 per gallon, math was easy and I was expecting 20 gallons of gas. But after I finished, it only showed ~18 gallons. I don't usually check receipts, but this was clearly wrong. So I went to the casher again to check what happened. Got a receipt, the prices was 3.29. First the casher insisted nothing was wrong and I should just go. After I took picture of prices from pump and from their sign, he admitted that his manager might set wrong price on that pump, but nothing he could do to fix that. He wrote "manager report" on my receipt, and said his manager lives in MTV if I wanted to report the issue. WOW, of course that was the only right way to get my 2 gallons of gas back, by driving to MTV. Very disappointed. Bad service, bad management. This is a busy AF little gas station but they do a nice job with it but minus 1-star because there were no Pokemon here. Jk. Cupertino has the worst wifi in all of Silicon Valley (go figure) so I actually have no idea if there's a Charizard hanging out around pump 7, but I'd like to think that there is. Each pump has a little informative screen, the pumping process is quick, and they have at least 8 different pumps + the world's tiniest, cutest convenience store. It's well lit, has low prices, and has 3 different entrance/exit paths so you don't have to worry about getting tangled up with other cars. read more

This is the best place for gas especially if you pay cash. It's just as good as Costco minus the long lines. It's open 24 hours also.
