While some staff members continue to provide excellent service, my recent experiences highlight several areas that need improvement. Scheduling and communication issues have become a significant problem. My doctor ordered both a diagnostic mammogram and ultrasound. During my initial attempt to book the appointments, the first representative was inflexible and insisted I use a different location instead of the Sierra Rose site I requested. On the day of my appointment, I waited more than 30+ minutes past my scheduled time only to learn that the appointment order had been changed without notice. The sonographer performed the ultrasound first, found everything clear and benign, and, after review by the onsite doctor, recommended canceling the mammogram. The sonographer was very professional and thorough; however, the issues were clearly outside of her control. This was a front office and scheduling problem. The overall coordination was poor and confusing. Compounding the frustration, I received a follow-up call the next day informing me that I still needed to schedule the mammogram. This was especially stressful and confusing, as it directly contradicted the previous day's assessment and my doctor's original orders. For the next couple of days, RDC continued calling me persistently about scheduling a follow-up mammogram. The representatives had difficulty communicating clearly, and the calls ended without resolution. I'm also unsure whether it is standard practice to override a doctor's order for a diagnostic mammogram when one was performed within the prior 30 days. Additionally, as a self-pay patient, I was charged a 3% interest fee on my credit card (waived only for cash or check). This practice feels inconsistent with industry standards and adds unnecessary burden to patients. In today's largely cashless society, this feels like an unnecessary burden on patients. Medical practices can typically deduct these fees as business expenses, making it preferable for the office to absorb them rather than pass them on to loyal self-pay customers. It appears the center has undergone an acquisition, and many team members seem to be in training. These changes appear to have impacted service consistency and communication quality. I requested to speak with a manager and sent a follow-up email, but I have not received any response. I hope management will address the scheduling processes, staff training, coordination with referring physicians, and billing policies so that Reno Diagnostic Center can restore the high level of care it was once known for. This review is intended to help bring these issues to their attention.

That is a pretty exorbitant fee. Particularly when they have a waiting list for people (due to rapid expansion in this area, it is difficult to get an appointment often times). I also feel that it is unreasonable to charge this fee on someone who has not had a history of cancelling. Usually people give grace the first time. It's rough out here-people need kindness, not more fees.

The surgeon's PA later specifically told me that my pain was coming from my right SI joint. Despite this, the procedures I ultimately received did not target the SI joint. I am particularly concerned because I was told that SI joint ablation is not covered by my insurance. That leaves me questioning why a different procedure was performed and whether insurance coverage influenced what was done. I cannot say that was the reason, but as a patient, I believe it is a reasonable concern when the procedure performed does not match what I understood I was there to receive. I also had a very difficult physical reaction to each procedure. About 10 minutes afterward, I nearly passed out from the extreme pain. This happened after all four procedures--two diagnostic procedures and two actual ablations. None of this was documented in the reports I received. I had to repeatedly call to obtain the reports, and when I asked that my reaction be added to the record, my request was refused. I subsequently sent the reports to my surgeon's PA, who told me that the ablations were for lower back pain. That was not my understanding of what I was supposed to have done, and I have experienced intense lower back pain since the procedures. I am still not certain what was actually targeted. My experience has left me extremely disappointed and concerned about the care I received. I would strongly encourage anyone considering an invasive procedure here to make absolutely certain that the exact area being treated, the specific procedure being performed, and the reason for it are clearly explained and documented beforehand.

Once back phlebotomist is good and quick. I learned that after 2 pm there is one phlebotomist for all patients. so if the er has patients the wait is long. why does the security guard man the reception desk? He Knows NOTHING. He cannot answer any questions and appears to have no medical office knowledge. he is not very friendly. He cannot give an estimate of wait time. I had plenty of time in waiting area to observe his interactions with pts coming and going. I have worked in medical field all of my adult life until retired. a security guard at front desk seems strange to me.

Never once was there one bad feeling or mistreated me an anyway! They do this all day but treated me like I was the only patient they had and I was royalty to them! What a beautiful way to have a big surgery and yet so much attention and care for me! The surgery center is so clean! From the front staff and how respectful and supportive to check you in, from the nurses calling me in to start my prep for my surgery! Dr Daniel Curtis ! Amazing young Dr ! Hands down ! He's Amazing! And my anesthesiologist he was so funny gave me my tequila shots in my IV was just so funny understood how sick I wake up from the anesthesia and did absolutely everything to keep me from getting sick which he did achieve!
