Morales Plastering Construction has been our smoothest experience yet! The owner, Alejandro Morales, is a joy to work with. He takes immense pride in his work, and it's evident that his team respects and enjoys working for him. He is a hands-on owner who (literally) isn't afraid to get his hands dirty to ensure the highest quality; he even personally helped complete the finishing paint work on the repaired stucco and surrounding areas. Communication with Alejandro and his team was top-notch. All workers showed up on time and cleaned the job site at the end of each day. We had multiple leaks in our windows, and Mr. Morales was able to diagnose the root cause immediately. He offered repair recommendations and a very fair quote--a much better route than replacing the windows entirely! If you have leaks associated with rain or any non-roof-related stucco or siding issues, look no further than Morales Plastering Construction!

What was once dated and underwhelming is now a beautiful focal point with real presence that perfectly complements our clean-girl aesthetic. We couldn't be happier with the result. Alejandro, the owner, is a joy to work with and keeps a close eye on his crew - they are supremely clean and polite. Looking forward to working with Morales again!

I hired Miguel to paint a small alcove in my San Francisco apartment (about 7 x 5 ft). After an…read moreinitial site visit and quote ($900), communication became very difficult--texts went unanswered and he even canceled once because he mixed up the job date. I had changed the color from white to a blue-green and texted him the exact flat and satin finishes. He confirmed twice that he had the correct paint, but on the day of service arrived with white instead. He then went to buy the right color, and his son and another worker did the painting. Unfortunately, the first job was poor: uneven coverage on each wall, holes and trim hooks left unpatched, light ceiling coverage, messy edges, and paint spots on the floor. They also didn't leave the paint cans behind. Miguel wasn't present, even at the end to look it all over. When I contacted him a few days later, he agreed to fix it and returned a week later with the crew. They repainted the whole alcove, and the result the second time was satisfactory. While I appreciate that he came back and corrected the work, the overall experience--miscommunication, bringing the wrong paint, poor initial workmanship, and the delay it caused--means I wouldn't hire this company again.

His team was courteous and effective, they used quality materials, state of the art procedures, and communication was great. He was flexible incorporating our change requests, provided a competitive estimate and stayed within the estimated costs (plus my added voluntary changes) and time frame. Highly recommend for your drainage needs! Update: a day after the work was finished, we had an atmospheric river. Unfortunately, it caused water entry in two of our rooms, which did not have water issues before. For part of the drain trench, the team overlooked that the foundation switched from crawl space to slab foundation and did not dig deep enough, backing the water right into two of our finished spaces. I reported the problem immediately and the team worked quickly to mitigate the issue by reworking the affected area under their warranty. I had to give feedback during the repairs to the team onsite that the foundation foil and protection was properly applied to the deeper level, instead of just lowering the trench on the bare concrete.

Ricardo was easy to communicate with, knowledgeable, and very thorough. He took the time to explain the work, answered my questions, and made the whole process feel much less stressful. He also handled all of the city permit paperwork, which was a huge relief and saved me a lot of time and hassle. The work was done as promised, inspections were scheduled smoothly, and everything passed city inspection without any issues. It gave me a lot of confidence knowing the job was done right and up to code. If you're looking for someone reliable and honest for structural or foundation work, I highly recommend RSL Structural Inc. and Ricardo. I would absolutely work with him again.

He and the team were professional, knowledgeable about the EBB requirements, and handled the process smoothly from start to finish. Ricardo handled all the paperwork through the EBB portal, as well as obtaining the permits to perform the work from my city's building department. When it was taking longer than expected to obtain the permits from the city, Ricardo was kind and courteous helping answer my questions and following up on my project's behalf. During the actual retrofit portion of the project the crew arrived on time, worked efficiently, and kept me informed throughout the project. What sets Ricardo apart are his fair & competitive pricing, excellent communication, extensive knowledge, and friendly attitude. The job passed inspection with no issues, and I now feel much more confident about my home's safety in an earthquake. I highly recommend them for anyone considering a retrofit.

With several of the walls opened up and the previous fireplace inserts and exhaust tubing exposed, I felt it was a good time to have the fireplaces and chimney exteriors inspected and deep cleaned. Charles was timely, pricing felt reasonable for the work performed, and he provided quite a bit of educational feedback on fireplaces and fire safety, including some feedback for our GC on proper configurations for the fireplace hearth and framework. Two of our 3 fireplaces were very heavily used by the previous owner and per Charles' feedback, a couple decades overdue for cleaning. While it is hard to tell at face value what was actually cleaned, Charles provides a thorough report for each fireplace and inspection pictures that showed some before & after examples. All of the chimney's are clean now and safe to use. Thanks again, Charles.
