Wanted to leave a review for the good service but I just received at this U-Haul here in Richmond…read more I'm working on a job in the area for a hospital and I needed some supplies to help finish urgent job we're doing Typically I would go to Home Depot but these materials are typically found at U-Haul's There's plenty of parking I went inside I didn't wait that long to be honest even though they're very busy there I was helped right away The item I wanted wasn't quite right and I was going to leave but the man at the counter asked me if I needed a different size - which I thought was really cool because at least at other retail places people tend to just let you walk out empty-handed. He ended up having the bigger size in the back and made that happen so fast I couldn't believe it. So here's a big thank you to the team shout out to Myron and his co-workers. I would not hesitate to recommend this U-Haul for any moving trucks and supplies.

Also their checkout area has a door where if you walk in that door, the cashiers flip out - despite the fact there's no way to know that's an exit - there's no signs or anything. This feedback is for appliance delivery and install. I purchased a dishwasher for a rental property…read moreand have given up and requested a refund after having my tenants wait two separate times for several hours only to be told they couldn't make it and needed to reschedule. My tenants took time away from work each time and I just couldn't bear it anymore so asked if I could just pick it up myself. They said no. It would have to be delivered to a Home Depot and then I could pick it up from there. The customer service then told me I would have to be present when the delivery is made to the Home Depot. This is when I asked for a refund. Fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice shame on me. Try to fool me again fahck you. I'm not going to wait another 7 hours while they keep changing the delivery time like they have already done two times now only to leave me hanging after 7 hours. Yes the dishwasher was on sale, but I will never receive an appliance delivery/install from Home Depot again ever. Gladly will pay more and shop somewhere else. Not worth the headache and grief to me or my tenants. Attached are the various updates from Home Depot. They may be out of order. But you can see them slide the delivery day from 11:30 to 7:30pm. What isn't shown is the text they sent at the end that says they were unable to deliver and will reschedule. Nope Home Depot. Not again. I'm not a fool. In the end, Home Depot needs to make sure these contractors they partner with aren't overbooked because it will impact their business. My tenants are pissed off that one of them has now taken not one but two days off work and fahcked with by Home Depot only to not have a dishwasher. I'm going to have to find a place other than HD with one in stock and install it myself. I don't care if it costs more. My sanity is worth more than the savings. Very frustrating.

No less than five employees joking nearby while we stand in line. HD has the lowest performance service of any store I shop. A d requiring employees to ask me how I'm doing doesn't help with poor job accountability, low knowledge, and unavailable staff. Product selection is inconsistent and often limited. Products are frequently not in the correct location on the shelf or out of stock. Items are often damaged or opened with parts missing. HD is run by corporate VPs vying for promotion who don't give a damn about customers. This is what happens when big box destroys local service. Ace and True Value are much better stores.
