Another great dining experience at Allora. This was our 3rd time frequenting Allora and each time we've been more than pleased with our food and the service. We had reservations at 7pm with a couple of friends and were seated as soon as we arrived just before the top of the hour. Our server who, we've had before, is personable, knowledgeable about the menu, and very patient. He was also training someone the night of our most recent visit and service didn't skip a beat. Between the four of us we decided to split 3 appetizers, each ordered an entree, and split dessert. We started with Sicilian Cauliflower which tasted good with the hot peppers and hot honey (out of our three appetizers, this is the one I'd skip because it was a little too breaded for my liking). The Allora Eggrolls were phenomenal stuffed with ground sausage and broccoli rabe served over a rich, thick blush sauce. Our final appetizer was Carciofi alla Giudia which we've had before and couldn't pass up. The artichokes are so tender and the leaves are crisped perfectly. I had a very difficult time deciding on my order for dinner, but I ultimately made a great decision with a little selling from our server. My previous two visits I had the Shrimp and Crab Fra Diablo (which I've loved so it was very difficult to pass up). My fiancé ordered it this time and was very happy with her choice. There's some heat, but it's not overwhelming. Lots of pieces of lump crab and plenty of large, cooked perfectly firm wild shrimp. I was also deciding between the chicken parm because I've heard many great things about their cutlets. Again, something I decided against but our friend did order the chicken parm and loved it. The cutlet was thin and fried so nicely. His girlfriend ordered the Rigatoni Primo and also had good things to say about her meal. With a little help from our server, I finally decided on the Allora "Prime" Pork Chop. Our server said "we're known for it" and that I wouldn't be disappointed and he couldn't have been more correct. It was right up there with the best pork chop I've ever had and was even a bit cheaper. Our server described the seasoning on the pork chop as similar to blackened seasoning. It was a bit spicy which I loved and crusted beautifully. It was firm yet tender, juicy, and the portion size was huge. Served with mashed potatoes and broccoli rabe, this was more than enough food for the average person. We finished up with mini cannoli which were good but I could barely finish mine after all the food we ordered. The food at Allora never disappoints. The price is very reasonable considering the quality of the food and the incredibly large portion sizes. It's so nice that this establishment is also BYOB as that helps keep the cost down. There's nothing like having a good glass of wine with pasta made in-house at Allora. The one thing that I've noticed during each of my visits here is that it gets very loud, but all of the positives far outweigh the noise. Each time we've been it's been crowded and patrons seem to be enjoying their time which means Allora is doing so many things right.

Excellent food and great service. BYOB makes the cost very reasonable. Seems somewhat displaced initially as this great Italian restaurant is in a strip mall but the inside ambiance is very inviting. Great for a local date night. I got the short rib special which was delicious though would have loved it even more if the scalloped potatoes were cut a tad bit thinner. Make sure you have the address right in google maps as there is a duplicate/incorrect location listed elsewhere!

We had a lovely date night at Allora. I previously emailed the chef about allergies and he was extremely helpful and alleviated any concerns I had. The ambiance is quaint and cozy and it wasn't too crowded on a Tuesday evening. The service was friendly and didn't feel rushed. Our meals were fresh and flavorful and the espresso was bold and a great way to end the meal. We love that the restaurant is BYOB, making our bill very manageable. After 2 appetizers, 2 entrees and an espresso, we paid $90 before tip. We will be back! The only negative is that it's in a strip mall so parking can be competitive and a woman running late for her dinner nearly trampled me at the hostess stand, but that is the kind of clientele that seem to come here.

Food, ambience, service are 5 STAR. Mark, Steve, Laura, Marie and the rest of the gang are professional, efficient, and fun! The new location on Main Street in Marlton is beautiful and the experience was exceptional. The food has outdone any other Italian in the South Jersey scene. We have our favorites and Allora has moved into 1st place. The Chicken Parm is spot on and absolutely the best in South Jersey. My husband loved the cheesesteak eggrolls and the pizza as well. I loved the rigatoni in blush sauce with breaded chicken. Yum! We recommend Allora to everyone and it's BYOB!!!! Finally a BYOB on Main Street in Marlton! Have dinner here or have a party, but don't miss out. It is truly excellent!

Excellent !!!! I ate every bite!! Bon Apetite!!

Food is fantastic!! Best keep secret, well not any more!! Bon Apetite!!! I will be back!!!

Fresh food, nice counter, girl, tuna, tasted good bread tasted good, sandwich lacked composition. I requested hot peppers on my sandwich, and they gave me these strange, not hot, sticky peppers with seeds. Too much bread and tuna, not enough finesse. The back room help is unable to do anything to serve clients, I had to wait until she was free again to give me my sandwich,, babe ridiculous

Ordered takeout from here this past weekend and didn't have the best experience as I did in the past. Group ordered the clams casino, veal parmesan, veal San Marco and I reordered the salmon allora again. Everything tasted great, but we all agreed that it needed a punch. Lacked a bit of flavor. Ended up adding hot sauce to every single dish, which helped a lot! Ordered a slice of lemon cake, but they forgot to add it in the bag. They were able to easily refund us back rather than driving all the way back to pick it up. Service was good, but food was just okay this time.

We went to try Allora the other night on New Years Eve and it was packed! We actually were seated right on time which was surprising, because there was a massive amount of people waiting who had reservations when we got there. Every table was taken and it was so loud in the restaurant. We ordered the rice balls to start and they were okay, however there were peas inside which really threw us off. The bread basket they gave to us wasn't fresh bread and tasted like one of the loafs you could get at Shoprite. The pesto dipping sauce that came with the bread was tasty! For entrees we had the Meghan's Shrimp & Crab Meat Fra Diablo and the Rigatoni Primo. My dish had lots of big shrimp and was in a spicy red sauce. It was decent, but nothing special. It was a very large portion though for both dishes, so we took home leftovers. My fiance's dish, the rigatoni, had too many sun dried tomatoes and lacked flavor. We were glad we tried Allora, but may choose another Italian spot the next time we go out.

However, the food left a lot to be desired. I got the Maui bowl with salmon and tuna. As I watched the older gentleman assemble the food I noticed that the size of the fish was tiny, like very tiny cubes and I've never encountered that at any other poke establishments. I thought maybe he was going to do two scoops of each fish to make up for the size but I was wrong. He did one small scoop of the tuna and then the salmon, but I saw that the scoop wasn't fully emptied before he put it back, so I got half of a scoop basically. Then they proceeded to drown the bowl in a spicy mayo sauce. I honestly can't even tell you if the food tasted fresh or what the marinate in the marinated tuna tasted like and nor can I tell you the texture of the fish because the cubes are that small, and on top of that, you can't taste anything through the thick sauce. For $16 something dollars it is almost criminal for a small lettuce bowl with a few scrap pieces of fish. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this place.

An order-at-the-counter…read morerestaurant (what did you expect for a salad place?), but with a surprising array of options for the whole family and for kids. What stands them apart is how they have their own heating equipment in the back so that if you order a salad with a protein, they are cooking it in the back. If you order a grain bowl, they can stir fry the veggies and meat together in the back to mix everything up. This, combined with their fresh ingredients, makes them a very high quality salad place. Would recommend for sure! p.s. If anyone from Salad House is reading this, please consider offering organic greens or at least one type of an organic green like Honeygrow with their Organic Spinach. Even charge a bit more for it if you want. Anyway, this is now the part of the review that nobody ever comes here for: - Water: There's no self-serve water machine - Restrooms: There are two single occupancy restrooms - Accessibility: The entire restaurant is wheelchair accessible, though with how the tables are placed, you may need to move a few chairs around potentially to roll in. - Seating: There's enough seating with a combination of high top and low tops. (p.s. The Window doesn't feel like it's been treated to block heat out so if you sit by those stools in the summer, you will fill the heat). - Will it fill you up? Yes. Much unlike Sweetgreens (sorry for firing those shots), the bowls are big enough and will fill you up. - Dietary Notes: A surprising number of their sauces are gluten free and they are very accommodating to telling you their allergens and offering substitutions, especially when ordering in store.
