Another great dining experience at Allora. This was our 3rd time frequenting Allora and each time we've been more than pleased with our food and the service. We had reservations at 7pm with a couple of friends and were seated as soon as we arrived just before the top of the hour. Our server who, we've had before, is personable, knowledgeable about the menu, and very patient. He was also training someone the night of our most recent visit and service didn't skip a beat. Between the four of us we decided to split 3 appetizers, each ordered an entree, and split dessert. We started with Sicilian Cauliflower which tasted good with the hot peppers and hot honey (out of our three appetizers, this is the one I'd skip because it was a little too breaded for my liking). The Allora Eggrolls were phenomenal stuffed with ground sausage and broccoli rabe served over a rich, thick blush sauce. Our final appetizer was Carciofi alla Giudia which we've had before and couldn't pass up. The artichokes are so tender and the leaves are crisped perfectly. I had a very difficult time deciding on my order for dinner, but I ultimately made a great decision with a little selling from our server. My previous two visits I had the Shrimp and Crab Fra Diablo (which I've loved so it was very difficult to pass up). My fiancé ordered it this time and was very happy with her choice. There's some heat, but it's not overwhelming. Lots of pieces of lump crab and plenty of large, cooked perfectly firm wild shrimp. I was also deciding between the chicken parm because I've heard many great things about their cutlets. Again, something I decided against but our friend did order the chicken parm and loved it. The cutlet was thin and fried so nicely. His girlfriend ordered the Rigatoni Primo and also had good things to say about her meal. With a little help from our server, I finally decided on the Allora "Prime" Pork Chop. Our server said "we're known for it" and that I wouldn't be disappointed and he couldn't have been more correct. It was right up there with the best pork chop I've ever had and was even a bit cheaper. Our server described the seasoning on the pork chop as similar to blackened seasoning. It was a bit spicy which I loved and crusted beautifully. It was firm yet tender, juicy, and the portion size was huge. Served with mashed potatoes and broccoli rabe, this was more than enough food for the average person. We finished up with mini cannoli which were good but I could barely finish mine after all the food we ordered. The food at Allora never disappoints. The price is very reasonable considering the quality of the food and the incredibly large portion sizes. It's so nice that this establishment is also BYOB as that helps keep the cost down. There's nothing like having a good glass of wine with pasta made in-house at Allora. The one thing that I've noticed during each of my visits here is that it gets very loud, but all of the positives far outweigh the noise. Each time we've been it's been crowded and patrons seem to be enjoying their time which means Allora is doing so many things right.

Excellent food and great service. BYOB makes the cost very reasonable. Seems somewhat displaced initially as this great Italian restaurant is in a strip mall but the inside ambiance is very inviting. Great for a local date night. I got the short rib special which was delicious though would have loved it even more if the scalloped potatoes were cut a tad bit thinner. Make sure you have the address right in google maps as there is a duplicate/incorrect location listed elsewhere!

We had a lovely date night at Allora. I previously emailed the chef about allergies and he was extremely helpful and alleviated any concerns I had. The ambiance is quaint and cozy and it wasn't too crowded on a Tuesday evening. The service was friendly and didn't feel rushed. Our meals were fresh and flavorful and the espresso was bold and a great way to end the meal. We love that the restaurant is BYOB, making our bill very manageable. After 2 appetizers, 2 entrees and an espresso, we paid $90 before tip. We will be back! The only negative is that it's in a strip mall so parking can be competitive and a woman running late for her dinner nearly trampled me at the hostess stand, but that is the kind of clientele that seem to come here.

Food, ambience, service are 5 STAR. Mark, Steve, Laura, Marie and the rest of the gang are professional, efficient, and fun! The new location on Main Street in Marlton is beautiful and the experience was exceptional. The food has outdone any other Italian in the South Jersey scene. We have our favorites and Allora has moved into 1st place. The Chicken Parm is spot on and absolutely the best in South Jersey. My husband loved the cheesesteak eggrolls and the pizza as well. I loved the rigatoni in blush sauce with breaded chicken. Yum! We recommend Allora to everyone and it's BYOB!!!! Finally a BYOB on Main Street in Marlton! Have dinner here or have a party, but don't miss out. It is truly excellent!

Excellent !!!! I ate every bite!! Bon Apetite!!

Food is fantastic!! Best keep secret, well not any more!! Bon Apetite!!! I will be back!!!

Fresh food, nice counter, girl, tuna, tasted good bread tasted good, sandwich lacked composition. I requested hot peppers on my sandwich, and they gave me these strange, not hot, sticky peppers with seeds. Too much bread and tuna, not enough finesse. The back room help is unable to do anything to serve clients, I had to wait until she was free again to give me my sandwich,, babe ridiculous

Ordered takeout from here this past weekend and didn't have the best experience as I did in the past. Group ordered the clams casino, veal parmesan, veal San Marco and I reordered the salmon allora again. Everything tasted great, but we all agreed that it needed a punch. Lacked a bit of flavor. Ended up adding hot sauce to every single dish, which helped a lot! Ordered a slice of lemon cake, but they forgot to add it in the bag. They were able to easily refund us back rather than driving all the way back to pick it up. Service was good, but food was just okay this time.

We went to try Allora the other night on New Years Eve and it was packed! We actually were seated right on time which was surprising, because there was a massive amount of people waiting who had reservations when we got there. Every table was taken and it was so loud in the restaurant. We ordered the rice balls to start and they were okay, however there were peas inside which really threw us off. The bread basket they gave to us wasn't fresh bread and tasted like one of the loafs you could get at Shoprite. The pesto dipping sauce that came with the bread was tasty! For entrees we had the Meghan's Shrimp & Crab Meat Fra Diablo and the Rigatoni Primo. My dish had lots of big shrimp and was in a spicy red sauce. It was decent, but nothing special. It was a very large portion though for both dishes, so we took home leftovers. My fiance's dish, the rigatoni, had too many sun dried tomatoes and lacked flavor. We were glad we tried Allora, but may choose another Italian spot the next time we go out.

When we first arrived, we were greeted by a gum-chewing hostess and seated right away, which was fine. It took a few minutes for our waiter, Juan, to come over and take our order. We didn't order any appetizers, so our salads came out quickly. After that, we waited...and waited...and waited. The delay was long enough that the manager came over to ask how everything was and whether we were interested in dessert. I had to tell him that we hadn't even received our meals yet. When the food finally arrived, everyone else enjoyed their dishes--veal parm, chicken franchise, and a few others. I ordered the special, described as a porterhouse pork chop with potatoes, vegetables, and a mushroom cream sauce. Thankfully, I asked for the sauce on the side, because it was very sweet--even the waiter mentioned that. The pork chop itself was cooked the way I like it, but it was not a porterhouse cut. A true porterhouse pork chop should be bone-in with both the tenderloin and loin sections. What I received was more like a pork loin cut, and while it was listed as 16 oz, it didn't appear to be anywhere near that size. Moving forward, we'll likely take a break from Casa

Alrighty then. People at the other tables along the same glass wall were dining in their coats. Didn't management notice this? On the bright side our server (forgot his name) was very good, thoughtful and anticipating our needs. Our dinners were good, matching previous visits, but had gotten cold by the time we were taking our last bites. (We weren't asked what we would like to drink, nor saw any beverage options on the menu.) SO, water it was, which was fine with ME anyway. ALSO, another thing not listed on the *dine in menu,* is that they DO have a kids menu, which consists of what you would think it does; chicken fingers, fries and the like. We sit and get to work looking over the menu. We land on crab ravioli for me, (crab meat, asparagus & plum tomatoes in a sherry cream sauce), potato gnocchi for The Misses (With spinach & bacon simmered in a gorgonzola cream sauce,) and the chicken fingers meal for The Little One. Entrees comes with soup or salad (soup for her, salad for me). Where CC is losing some points is on service. Our server was fine, but the kitchen was very mixed up. When we sat, our Little One was being a kid, so while getting her situated, we ordered all of the mains. About 5 minutes later, when the server brought the bread over, we asked to order an appetizer of fried mozzarella (which I assumed would be the fresh mozzarella, breaded and fried, but instead was the packaged Sams club type breaded sticks variety..the menu says "Fried Mozzarella, Breaded mozzarella, fried golden crisp & served with marinara sauce. In rapid succession after that, the kids meal came out, and then, and I mean probably 3-4 minutes after ordering the mozz *sticks,* THEY hit the table. Still no soup or salad. The mozzarella sticks were made suspiciously fast. Maybe 15-20 minutes later the ENTREES hit the table. The server does recognize that she never brought the soup or salad, and offers to put them in To-Go containers. *second shoulder shrug emoji* The entrees themselves were good, not great. Decent flavor, but both dishes underseasoned. A little salt would have gone a long way. I had to add parmesan cheese, red pepper flake, and some salt myself to coax a better flavor out of my ravioli. The Misses's gnocchi also needed some doctoring to bring out some true flavor. The kids meal was a generous portion size, but then again, it WAS $13, so..... We decided to actually do dessert, as The Little One wanted cake, and I had seen a picture of the Peanut Butter Bomb, and absolutely wanted to try it. One bomb, and one Lemoncello Cake slice was the order. The Lemoncello cake was good, but again, lacking in deep flavor. You got a hint of lemon, then the rest of the bite was chewing on air. It speaks to the lightness of the cake crumb, but the flavor needs to be punched up. The Peanut Butter Bomb however; no notes. Delicious. Chocolate mousse on top of a peanut butter mousse, on top of a chocolate cookie type base, the whole thing covered in chocolate and peanut drizzle (?) and sprinkled with peanuts. Definitely the best thing I ate here. SO, all things put together, it wasn't a bad night. Service was a little slow, which was only really a problem because we had a squirmy 7 year old. I probably would have appreciated the pace if it were The Misses and I just sipping a bottle of wine. But, the kitchen course timings and mix up, plus the muted flavor of pretty much every dish knocked it down a few pegs. I could see Cucina Carini easily being a 4 star spot and a go-to, "our spot" type place, it just didn't get there for me on my one visit. It's a little far from us, but if I'm in the area, I would definitely give it another shot.
