Sausage and cheese pizza turnover

The food is amazing, everything is made from scratch. The service was good and the ambiance was comfortable and relaxing. We found it by luck while traveling and worth every penny.

This is a solid, neighborhood, traditional Italian restaurant serving up everything from pizza and sandwiches to fresh seafood, all at reasonable prices. The atmosphere is casual and comfortable and the service is adequate. The food is fresh and on par with what you would expect from a traditional old school Italian restaurant. I ordered the clams and mussels over linguine which was loaded with shellfish cooked to perfection over linguine in a red sauce that tasted homemade. The portion was a good size and I really enjoyed this dish. Others in our party loved their meals which included shrimp cacciatore, shrimp parmigiana, a sausage and peppers sandwich, and eggplant manicotti style. We shared the fried calamari for an app which was only the rings and not the other parts of the squid that we love, but was cooked just right nonetheless. I saw other table ordering pizza, calzones, and Stromboli which looked delicious and tempted us to come back just for that. Michelangelo's overall was very satisfying and definitely a place to return to and add to our repertoire while in the Cherry Hill neighborhood.

Solid 3.5, came here with my family for a big family dinner there were 7 of us. We were seated right away (my Mom may have made a reservation). Service was attentive and they were definitely on top of things with refills on water etc. Can only speak to my meal and the bread, garlic bread and other bread was served fresh and warm, was pretty tasty. I got the carbonara. I choose the noodles (I know it's usually spaghetti but I don't like spaghetti) and they were cooked well...I didn't really love the prosciutto ham and bacon...would rather it have been the traditional fattier pancetta but didn't take away from the dish too much. Serving was a decent size, definitely had left overs. Would go back and try other dishes.

Get the Chicken Orzo soup! The best ever created by mankind! The Pescatore was more than adequate. 4 shrimp, a dozen clams and a full two dozen mussels with crabmeat over linguine. The white sauce left something to be desired as it was lacking flavor. Get the red. Chicken Parm was ok. Not great but very good and plenty. Service was outstanding as various personnel were more than attentive to our every whim. Ambiance is a step above your usual strip mall joint as you can expect a cloth tablecloth and cloth tableware. No napkins! Menu is wide and varied. Give them a try and ask for Pete the owner. He takes exceptional pride in his work!

The service was great and the food was even better!!! Everything was fresh and made to order! We just left and already are planning our next dinner there! We definitely would recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants real Italian food. My son also enjoyed the chicken fingers and he's extremely picky!

Had a wonderful time here! Came on a Saturday night. It was calm and the atmosphere warm and welcoming. The staff were extremely polite and the service was fast! Everything we had was good, though I found the starter salads to be a bit lackluster. Would have been nice if some vegetables (onions, tomatoes, etc.) were included. We had the carbonara (yum! Wish there was peas though) and chicken parmigiana. The food was very reasonably priced. Only other wish was more seafood-free appetizer options (there was a seafood allergy in our party) Would return!

We ordered appetizers, including the mussels, which were incredibly plump with a delicious white wine broth. The calamari had the perfect level of breading and was well seasoned. I ordered the mushroom risotto special which came with asparagus and scallops. It was delicious and again very well seasoned. The scallops were exactly the right texture, not overcooked. The risotto was more toothsome than I'm used to but still very good and went well with the accompanying arugula salad. Other things we ordered were the generously portion salmon, the bolognese and the penne à la vodka. It is spacious but cozy at the same time and everyone was so nice and helpful. We did not get any dessert but looking forward to trying it next time because there will be a next time.

In passing we mentioned it only when asked by our server if we liked it that it had lacked flavor. To our surprise she took it off our bill. This is the kind of service you really don't find anymore and one of the reasons I like coming back to tutti toscani. I ordered the veal which is always good, large lump crab on top. My husband got the trio of pasta but only enjoyed two of the three. The rest of the table raved about the mushroom special almost licking the plate clean - I am not a fans of mushrooms so I'll trust them. Overall I always enjoy coming here, I don't feel like I've been ripped off when the bill hits the table and service is usually good. I do enjoy sitting outside better than inside when able it's a prettier feel to me.

I do not eat seafood and was confused by the fishy smell and presence of meat. Luckily it was a simple cross-table mixup. Furthermore, the mushroom gnocchi was horrible. It was made with pure whipping cream, which is probably a valid Italian approach, but it had to have been 100g of fat, and it tasted like warm thick milk, with no flavor and minimal mushrooms. I felt sick to my stomach the rest of the night. The restaurant was packed and tastefully decorated. They have a great signature cocktail list but I couldn't hear myself or anyone at my table. Average decibel level was 85 through the course of our 90 minute stay. My ears felt raw once I got outside. Lastly, it's a mandatory (and complimentary) valet for parking. Just be prepared. If you like Italian, may be worth a shot. Folks were pleased with oysters and mashed potatoes at my table, but I have no desire to come back.

We made a reservation for 8:30 and arrived about 20 minutes early so we were expecting to have a little wait before our table was ready. The place was jam packed! Even trying to find a seat at the large bar to have a cocktail before dinner was virtually impossible but we wound up finding one. The bartender made really great drinks so we were very pleased while waiting for our table. Once seated we were provided with water almost immediately and our server arrived shortly after. We put in our drink and appetizer order and then the amazing bread with peppers arrived (complimentary) and we were like two kids in a candy shop. I don't know what they do to those peppers but they're delicious ... and pair perfectly with what I call their pizza bread. Appetizer and drinks were superb and after putting in our entree orders they were placed in front of us in under 20 minutes - fresh, hot and delicious! Neither of us could finish the entrees so we asked for to go containers ... and we certainly gobbled the leftovers up the following day. Oh and there's complimentary valet parking (just tip the valets) which makes for a stress free entrance and exit from the busy parking lot. The food was very good. The chicken francaise was awesome, perfectly fried and seasoned, as were the meatballs. Very impressive hummus trio though! No prosciutto inside and the pork chop which was a rib about an inch thick sliced horizontally for stuffing was over cooked and tough. Sauce was excellent however. Also at 39.00, the price way over priced for an 8 oz rib pork chop, that wasnt prepared properly to boot. Should have been 25/30 dollars for this type of dish - did not deserve a "special price".
