When I had the oil burner maintenance done 1 month after moving in they said the oil tank was in such bad shape that they would not deliver oil until the tank was replaced. $4,700. Allen failed to note that there were three crawlspaces in the house. In each of the crawlspaces mice had ripped out the insulation and stored hundreds of acorns, leaves, and other debris. $5,000 to clean and reinsulate 2 of the crawlspaces. One of the other crawlspaces is visible but not accessible and all the plumbing and heating for the master bathroom runs through that crawlspace.
