Contacted Clearview Home Inspectors and was connected directly to Yanir, who conducted my inspection. I lucked out in securing an inspection early the next morning. Yanir was prompt at the inspection and had already done the initial exterior inspection of the complex of my condo unit as I arrived a few minutes late. Inside, Yanir thoroughly reviewed all the appliances, electrical, plumbing, structural, etc. As he was inspecting, he wasn't very talkative as he focused on assessing the various items throughout the unit, which is understandable. Afterwards, he did a walk-through and overview of items of concern. He made himself available to answer any questions and to answer any other items that I pointed out. He also assessed common areas for a fully comprehensive review of the living situation and amenities as I plan to bring this to the attention of the HOA/management company. He detected a notable concern with moisture intrusion and serious mold infestation that I and my party didn't notice, especially concerning as it overlapped where the electrical mains were located! Really impressed and greatly appreciative of his thorough work and insights as I am a first-time buyer. Yanir was fantastic. I was able to arrange our home inspection quickly with the friendly person who answered the phone, I think within one or 2 days. Yanir arrived early and had already thoroughly gone around the exterior and roof of the house before I arrived and was ready to give me a rundown of what he had seen so far. He was very thorough when inspecting the interior of the house and was very patient with my numerous questions. I do not speak "house" as he put it, so Yanir did a great job of explaining everything in very simple terms that made it easy for me to understand. The entire inspection took over 3 hours, not including the time he was looking at the exterior before I arrived and we received the full report with photos that same evening as promised. The final report was just as thorough and clearly written and the photos were clear and informative. We will be saving the report for a long time to make sure that we can refer back to it down the road. Yanir also advised us that he would be happy to return any time after we have moved in, if we wanted any further inspections done, if we want him to check on any work that has been done, or if we have any further questions about anything that might arise in the future. This was our first home purchase and Yanir Pesok did our inspection. There were many issues with his report! The first issue he failed to see that there was wood used to build the fire place. This was a major fire hazard and almost resulted in burning down the house. (it was actually on fire!) Luckily we had another inspector look at the fire place and he found that it was not in usable condition! This should have been picked up on the inspection report!! Upon further inspection we found that the fireplace has many issues and now cannot be used until repaired. Yanir failed to see this and as a result has not cooperated in helping with the repairs to our house. We are in the process of legal action with Clearview Home Inspection and do NOT recommend them to anyone!! STAY CLEAR if you want to be safe and have a good report!! read more
