Eric was kind from the get-go. He came in to our business to change all of our locks and was quick and efficient. The following day when we were using some of the keys, they didn't work, so we gave Eric a call and he was more than happy to come out and fix any mistakes. We were in a rush for time, so he made sure to come in by the end of the day. So I called around to a few places here in West Seattle because I like to use the businesses close to home. I had lost my keys to a lock that I have for my storage and needed help. I accidentally locked my 2 year old son in our car, and after one police officer and another locksmith (I won't name names), Allstar is the only one who could open the car! If it wasn't for him, I would have had to break the window. He showed up fast and was very compassionate about the situation. Paid 50% in advance to install an expensive set of locks across the house (~$1800). There were some initial delays that were caused by a family emergency that I was okay with (bad things happen). Paid the rest when they came to install the locks, but turned out they couldn't install two of the locks because of some missing parts. I paid the rest with the expectation that they would return to fix the remaining two locks (15-20 minutes max, according to them), but never showed up again. Multiple texts, phone calls. One time he did pick up and promised to come on a certain day, but no show. I had even paid $100 extra because they spent some extra time on labor on the initial visit. After a couple of months of repeated attempts, I had to give up and call a different locksmith, paying another $150 to the other locksmith. Horrible experience in total. read more

After searching the Web for places that can cut a BMW key I found 3 locations that said they could do it. I called all 3 places to get a quote and after calling Allstar Safe & Lock found they were slightly more expensive. I decided go to the less expensive location I got a quote from. I though I would check out Yelp for reviews cause I had ordered this key on Ebay and wanted to make sure it was cut correctly or I would be with a useless key. After reading reviews of all locations the reviews that Allstar Safe & Lock had was very useful. I saw that another customer got their BMW key cut at one of the other locations that quoted her a lesser price and ended up messed up on her key and she needed to order another one. The reviews made me change my mind as for the little extra cost it was worth visiting Allstar Safe & Lock. I called back to asked what time they closed and told them that I would try to be there before close as I was making a 20+ mile drive down I-5 during rush hour traffic. The gal on the phone said no worries and they would wait for me as long as I would give them a call letting them know my ETA. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! After arriving Eric got right to cutting my Key. It was quick and painless. Eric and his Daughter were very nice and informative. Allstar did a top notch security camera install on my local business. I went with the digital watchdog equipment, and didn't really understand it's true potential until I was faced with a burglary. The sleek cameras weren't even noticed by the thieves, and upon my alarm call was able to search minutes before current time on my phone, as I took snapshots of the suspects. The quality of install is exceeds all expectations, leaving no way to easily disarm a camera without being seen and recorded doing so. Totally awesome! Eric, the owner, was right on time, super fast, and a totally down to earth dude. I locked my keys in my car last night and gave Allstar a call at about 9 this morning. Eric told me it'd be about an 1-1/12 hours til he could come up but I had the time, so I said I'd wait. When he showed up, he got my keys out in a few seconds flat, told me the best place to get a spare, and even showed me the best place to put it and how to do it. Sweet! Five stars are not enough...not nearly enough. Saved me hundreds of dollars and some hair. Purchased used Toyota Prius C with "keyless entry" from local area dealer. Only one key fob provided. Wanted a second one and was quoted price between five and seven hundred dollars. Found remote online for 150 and Allstar "programmed" it fast, quick and easy for 80. Only bad thing to say is they will raise their their rates; however, they deserve it. The dealer where I bought the car was unable to program it. Thank you, Eric. read more

It's great to deal with such an honest and respectable business owner again. Eric came out late at night after our Acura TL would not open. The battery was apparently dead which did not allow for the doors to open with the FOB or manually with the key. Once it was opened, we charged it up and at this point you'd expect his work to be done. Not Eric. He offered to follow me up to Autozone to ensure I made it so they could check my battery and alternator. He even waited around to ensure Autozone did the job right in changing the battery out. Eric was amazing! A couple of months ago Eric's team re-keyed our locks. I got home today and the deadbolt was not opening correctly. After trying many times, I finally got it to slide open, but then it wouldn't re-close. I called Eric for help. He was at my house in less than an hour, replaced the deadbolt in 3 minutes, and didn't charge anything because they had performed the rekey (not that one had anything to do with the other). The All-Star team that performed work at our business on 10/1/15 was exemplary. Eric did a masterful job drilling out and replacing the lock in our old bank safe. It took longer than expected because the safe was old, and some of its internal mechanisms had rattled away from their fitting. But Eric was steady, tenacious, and good-spirited. It was like a front for the Bank Job. It was awesome. In addition to the bank safe, All Star also updated and secured all of our door locks as well as video surveillance. They did an outstanding job with everything. Our build-out was involved because it was for a state licensed marijuana store. Eric and All-Star definitely were the right people for every part of this job, and I recommend this company very strongly.
