I already had an issue last year with freeway insurance when I was charged $1,000 for insurance and a broker fee I was never told about. I spoke with Yvette Acosta this time who said she can rewrite my policy and it would be cheaper. I was charged roughly "$500 for the month". As I was signing the documents and reviewing them I seen another charge at the end of this month for roughly 300, which is more than my old policy to continue it. That's a total of 900 to start it. I asked to call back and I looked into it further and saw that the new policy was more expensive. What they did was ask for AN EVEN HIGHER DOWNPAYMENT to make my monthly payments look cheaper. I called back and to my surprise she was in "meetings constantly" after taking my initial $500 payment. After multiple attempts to speak with her I finally got through and confronted her about it. I was told that the payment was $500 this month of May. She was never transparent/clear that I was going to be charged an additional payment of $300 at the end of May. She was rude and told me she did not know where "my math came from". She added everything up herself and saw that this new policy was indeed more expensive than my old one. I asked for my $500 back which they submitted a claim but now can take up to two weeks. Don't come here! Not worth the hassle. I wasted 4 hours of my day.

April 4, 2020 we reported water damage due to 2 busted hot water pipes sudden bursts. This loss…read morehappened a week after I recently lost my dad. State Farm dropped the ball from the beginning. They proceeded to direct me to their preferred vendors. Only to have all their preferred vendors drop the ball. I sat in water damage for over a month. Not one bit of drying equipment ever was placed in my house. Abatement didn't happen until over a month of sitting in water damage. Then after 1 month of sitting in water damage and approval of abating my kitchen to its present state. State Farm has left me without a kitchen with 2 small children living in this house. I am a type 1 diabetic without a kitchen. They have not paid for housing and my house is a total loss. They quickly tried to settle this claim unethically and without practicing in good faith. $13,000 is supposed to rebuild my kitchen! The abatement cost $14,000. How does that add up? Mark beck pretty much told me to stay quiet and wait for the process. But yet I see pictures of his kitchen. How nice it must be to cook in your own kitchen Mark and to be able to do your own laundry in your home! My husband and I are essential workers and are unable to cook meals and wash our clothes. This is how you treat paying policy holders of 20 years. Like a good neighbor State Farm is there! Please!!! State Farm are the neighbors from HELL!! Please run for the hills everyone. They are horrible and will sell you a fraudulent policy that will not cover you when you really need it!!! State Farm does not care for essential workers, diabetics, and children!! They rather make you stress you out, send you to the hospital for high blood sugars and stress. Mark, I hope you feel good about these policies you sell and yet this is how we the olive holders get treated. 58 days of HELL and counting!!!
