It's unbelievable to realize that I started with Connie 36 years ago when I turned 16 years old and my dad signed me up for insurance when I got my first car -I have been with her ever since. She has seen me through High School, college in Boston, living in Nashville for 11 years, moving to San Diego, Ca and everything needed for my business I've owned for the past 11 years. I've always been able to call her and get an insurance certificate very quickly. She has handled car accidents quickly and efficiently (my kids-not mine!) she has called to follow up on coverage and life changes. I've looked into saving it's other companies but then find the person calls I can make are worth every penny extra I may have to pay. I have been a customer of State Farm for 55 years. Most of that time with the same agent. When he retired I tried several other State Farm agents. They were not responsive to my questions, concerns and/or phone messages. Fortunately I tried Connie Baldwin. She has restored my faith in State Farm. Even during this particularly challenging time Connie and her staff have provided exceptional service. Alwas always friendly and prompt to respond. I recently filed a claim for wind damage on my RV. The process was super easy. The check for the claim came so quckly I was amazed. I also filed an amendment to the claim and that was processed with the same speed. When he passed suddenly 6 years ago I was uninformed and ill prepared to assume all these responsibilities. I've been with Connie Baldwin for at least 7 years now and have been consistent with paying my bills. I've spoken to Connie maybe 1 time over the last 7 years. She is never available and I'm forced to speak with her clerks that talk like high school students. When inquiring why I was not notified of an increase in my bill and asked the reason for the increase. The response I got was a simple "inflation"- with a sarcastic tone. I've bundled my home insurance as well as my 2 cars with Connie. I signed up with Connie as a referral but now regret this. Recently I've had a home insurance issue and have been dealing with State Farm directly when Connie dismissed my claim as "not allowable". My claim is being reviewed but somehow feel cheated. Shouldn't my Agent be fighting for me. Why was I dismissed without any suggestions or adviced on my situation. I guess it's nothing personal as long as the business gets my money. I'm just another sucker to them. At the very least, I'm definitely changing agents and still contemplating whether or not I stay with State Farm. There are plenty of insurance agents out there. Make sure you are serviced when you call. Remember that you are paying for their services. There's no reason why should not be able to talk with them. read more

Don't mind the false information from the review below. The agent has no control over whether rates will increase or not, that is dependent on your specific policy. Any educated being would know that if they researched before putting in their input. Connie is an awesome agent and will fight for her clients as long as what they are doing is right. Connie Baldwin and her staff are top-notch! We experienced a leak and significant subsequent water damage at our home. Our home was eventually down to its foundation - a tough situation, especially with our infant and toddler!! If I was able to put less than one star, I would. Connie is never in the office and when she is, she doesn't seem to know the answers to your questions. I know the women working in her office are knowledgeable but there are times that I have needed to speak to her directly and it's difficult to accomplish this when she is consistently unavailable. I have spoke to other people who have her as an agent and they are not very happy with her performance either. I ended up transferring my policies to another agent and am very pleased with her and her staff. She has been very helpful and has even helped me get other insurance policies that were never recommended by Connie or her staff. I will not be recommending Connie as a State Farm agent to anyone. read more
