These guys are doing it right. Exactly what you hope for in a local business…read more I found DC through a Facebook group when I asked for computer repair rec's. Checked out their website, then gave them a call about cleaning up my Mac before my vacation. I put it off to the last minute and wasn't sure they could help. Luckily, they could help me, and the rush fee was $100. I love that fact they picked up the phone and it wasn't some dead doornail employee who could care less about my computer issue. Chris, the owner, actually answered the phone. He said to bring it down. I came in that same day and he told me they would: clean it up, install new OS, remove junk, and speed it up overall. He quoted me end of the week, but it was ready sooner, so happy about because it would be ready for vacation. Total came out to about $430 with the rush fee. It's been about 6 weeks now and my computer is running amazing, so fast! They also have refurbished Macs for sale, which I'll be back for when my current computer stops working. Super 5 Stars for DC Computers! They care about their business and customers. So glad I found them.

Absolute worst experience ever at DC Computers. Avoid this place at all costs…read more I went in calm and collected to trade in my two MacBooks. Before we could even negotiate, the employee, a tall Hispanic man in a blue shirt, became incredibly aggressive. He falsely claimed my MacBook was bought outside the US and had a "Spanish keyboard," which is a total lie since I bought it at a US Apple Store. When I corrected him, he scoffed, literally threw my MacBook back at me, walked away, and snapped, "I ain't interested." Throwing a customer's expensive electronics is completely unacceptable and borderline violent. Management needs to check their cameras and handle this employee immediately.

    Mission Valley

I'm usually the type of person who buys everything online or on Amazon because it's just easier…read more About a year and a half ago, I stopped by Best Buy Mission Valley just to look at TVs before finding the best deal online. Instead, I found the TV I wanted, received great service, and decided to purchase in-store and buy the Best Buy Protection plan for my $4,500+ TV. Fast forward 18 months, and the screen developed some unusual wear. It didn't affect the picture, but it was noticeable on dark scenes. I figured I'd see what Best Buy had to say. From start to finish, the experience was incredible: Justin in Geek Squad genuinely cared about helping me and made the process easy. Carla, the Geek Squad technician, was knowledgeable, professional, and confirmed the issue was covered. Within hours, my claim was approved. I then worked with Stephen from the Audio/Video team, who went above and beyond to find the replacement TV I wanted, even though it wasn't in stock. Ryan, the Assistant Store Manager, also took the time to answer my questions and made sure everything was taken care of. Great teams are built from the top, down and it shows. In the end, I received the newer model of my TV and even got about $500 back in store credit because of the price difference. I honestly couldn't be more impressed. This experience has truly changed my opinion of buying big-ticket electronics in-store. I'll absolutely be purchasing them from Best Buy going forward, and I'll always add the Protection plan. Outstanding customer service all around, thank you to the entire Best Buy Mission Valley team!

DO NOT purchase from this store or company…read more As a small business owner, it's so frustrating watching massive corporations operate in ways that can seriously impact small businesses without seeming to care. Last week I had to emergency purchase a new camera body for a shoot. Best Buy had it listed as "1-hour pickup," so I placed the order thinking I'd be able to grab it before my shoot. Hours later the order still wasn't ready so I figured I'd be able to grab it the next day. Come to find out the NEXT MORNING, they didn't actually have the camera in stock. When your livelihood depends on your equipment, listing something as available for pickup when it isn't can put someone's entire job at risk. And this isn't my first frustrating experience with them. I've also seen products priced higher right before a "sale," making the discount look way better than it actually is. I'm just so tired of corporate greed and huge companies getting away with practices that would absolutely destroy the reputation of a small business. Also customer service did absolutely nothing for me when I told them about the issue.

Went there with a friend on Wednesday July 1st around 8pm. We were super excited to get some One…read morePiece cards at customer service because it's usually sold out due to strict allocation which I appreciate as a consumer so everyone gets to have some. That said, the blonde lady at the cashier who was wearing a mask denied us because my friend was with me and didn't let him purchase any. We took the L gracefully and left but what annoyed me is that she allowed clearly the person ahead of us to loop and purchase again after she called him out on it. Why would you allow someone to loop and deny two new clients to buy. I'm here with my friend and we shouldn't be playing and acting like strangers so we can make a purchase. This is ridiculous. And the need to be rude about it was unnecessary especially when we were nice about it and didn't argue nor call you on the wrong you allowed just prior. We abide to rules, and that's the whole love part of this gaming community that inherently make is what it is before the scalpers you allow took over and ruin it all. But if you allow looping then turn us down, then I gotta say it was a let down and a disappointment. Because we also drove a fair amount to get there.
