A truly life-changing experience…read more I originally went to Image Perfect Laser to see aesthetician Theresa Cadwallader for treatment of some dark spots and fine lines. I had laser and CO2 microneedling treatments, and later returned for a PRX chemical peel. There was one very small dark spot that didn't go away with treatment--in fact, it had gotten darker. I mentioned it to Theresa, and she immediately became concerned and asked Tracy Weigand, a PA dermatologist with Lumen Skinlab, who works in the same suite, to take a look. Tracy was concerned as well and offered to perform a shave biopsy and send it to pathology. The results came back as melanoma in situ. I was referred to a dermatology oncologist by my PC physician, a second lab confirmed the diagnosis, and the melanoma was surgically removed. I honestly thought the spot was just another harmless dark spot. I am incredibly grateful to Theresa for paying attention to that tiny change and to Tracy for taking it seriously and acting so quickly. Their knowledge, attentiveness, and willingness to investigate something that could easily have been overlooked made all the difference. I can't thank Theresa and Tracy enough. What started as a visit for cosmetic skin care ended up potentially saving me from a much more serious problem. I highly recommend both of them--not only for their expertise, but also for the care and attention they give their patients.

I booked a laser hair removal appointment weeks in advance for July 3rd and was told the location would be open. I called multiple times over the last few weeks and left voicemails trying to reach someone, I never got a single callback. I no longer live in the area and booked this appointment my only chance back in town. On the morning of my appointment I called to confirm since I never received a confirmation email or reminder. No one answered. I had to call the Manhattan Beach location just to find out that Costa Mesa was closed. I was never notified. No call, no email, nothing. This location has gone noticeably downhill. It is nearly impossible to reach anyone by phone, and they have switched away from medical grade numbing cream which has made tattoo removal significantly more painful than it used to be. I still have several sessions remaining that I need to use up, but if you are looking for a reliable provider I would honestly recommend going elsewhere. The quality of this location has gone down tremendously and I cannot in good conscience recommend it to anyone. I genuinely hope management addresses these issues because the service I experienced years ago was excellent. This is not that.

This place does not mess around and they really do wanna know your medical history, because this is truly medical treatment. After getting my on boarding paperwork completed, I participate it in before photos. After completing my Photo Booth session, I went into my treatment room. In my treatment room was a nice television that had access to Netflix. I enjoy a cup of coffee and waited for my service provider. I enjoyed that the nurse practitioner/owner took the time to really explain the process of laser hair removal with me and then also discuss some of the ongoing issues that could occur because of hormonal issues. I really appreciate it that Lee took the time to discuss other treatments. They had available at the facility as I would love to do a VI peel here to take care of my hyper pigmentation. My laser hair removal went off without a hitch, and I didn't even need any numbing. After my procedure I took my after photos so that that's a part of my medical file. All in all, I was very impressed with this rejuvenation center and would thoroughly recommend that you check them out. 5 Day Aesthetic Training…read more I'm from San Diego and I researched a ton of different places for aesthetic training and none of them seemed like a good fit for me. I eventually found Avesta Aesthetics and im so happy I decided to go with this course. Jill and Beeta are there to train and teach you everything they possibly know and they're incredible. They train you at a real med spa and show you how they treat their actual patients. It's also a very small group so you get more focused practice and attention which is what I liked. I was able to inject about 5-7 people a day depending on the schedule and they'll never force you to be hands on unless you feel comfortable. 10/10 recommend this place for treatments and training. I'm so sad I'm done with my training but I will definitely be back when I'm ready to learn more advanced treatments!

As a registered nurse with 25 years of experience, including working alongside plastic surgeons, I consulted colleagues and did my own research after these issues arose. It's well-documented that spasms can be a side effect of Botox, and the doctors I consulted confirmed this as well. I've also personally had Botox from a physician for six years without any complications, which in my opinion based on my prior experinece and post-treatment consultation, appeared morr related to her injection technique rather than the Botox itself. Despite this, the NP dismissed my concerns and suggested I must have a neurological issue instead of acknowledging any treatment-related side effect. Moreover, she offered no resolution or refund and simply denied any responsibility for what happened. I'm sharing this review to help others be fully informed before considering this provider. Of course, nothing might happen, but if there's even a 1% chance of a side effect, you may not get any help from her!
