They got me in the door pretty fast. I loved my color. The stylist gave me an excellent cut and style as I left.

First, the stylist was great and kind…read more Their pricing and up-selling totally turned me off. From my last visit to the next appointment the haircut price nearly doubled!! When a stylist "levels up" their price also levels, but you don't know that until you get to the cash register. Also, the time it takes for a stylist [30/45/60] factors into the price. I expected to pay about $50ish from my last appointments but was charged about $89! It was a bit shocking. On top of the price, it wasn't the haircut I expected. I understand that communication fails sometimes and hair grows back. However, when you are paying nearly $90 for a haircut that you thought would be around 50ish, it'd better be a darn good haircut. I'd specifically said over many appointments as well as this one never let the length fall at my jaw. Above or below was good. It fell at my jaw, and was cut straight across in the back [instead of a rounded or V line]making an unattractive illusion, widening the shoulders. It was the most unsatisfied I'd been while paying more. They also must be coached to sell you expensive shampoos and products because even after telling the stylist I wasn't interested, she brought the bottle to the register and told the cashier to add it in. I liked this salon. I liked the stylist. But just go look at their website and you'll see their very complicated pricing. It's a crap shoot. It's like walking into a store to buy something one week and you get to the register to find out it's almost double but you can't put it back. So disappointed. Pros: Nice environment Friendly Staff Competent Stylists Cons: Ambiguous Pricing Constant Upselling Prices not displayed (only on website)

I've been going there for years. At my prior appointment, I paid around $50 for a haircut. It was okay, not great, but I like the stylist. When I showed up for my recent cut, it was way shorter than I wanted and not the cut I wanted. I could've forgiven that, as hair grows, we all make mistakes, maybe I didn't explain it well. When I got to the counter and discovered my haircut was no longer $50 but $90 and styling products were set at the register, which I never, ever asked for, or hinted that I wanted, I'm done. I know Covid hit salons hard, and they may be trying to claw their way back from nearly closing, but I can't afford $90 a haircut, let alone a cut I'm embarrassed to go out with, let alone prices that change and no one tells you. Being upfront with your pricing, especially if it increases, to me, is vital.

April is a master at providing and peaceful and restorative facial. She is so respectful of my feelings and vibe. If I just want to zone out that is perfectly fine but she also is a wonderful conversationalist if you don't like long silences. She takes the time to explain each step so I am completely comfortable throughout the experience. Then Pam expertly performs facial waxing. I have yet to experience any real discomfort and for the first time ever, I have not had a single breakout afterwards. She uses a wonderful mixture of tea tree oil and aloe that cools down the waxed area and feels delightful. I intend to get brave and try more waxing in the spring because of the amazing results. Shortly afterwards I am back with April for a fabulous hair experience. I have not been this happy in many years since my favorite stylist moved to New York. She was able to recommend products that actually work and have helped immensely with my thinning hair. The recent glaze is just beautiful. I feel beautiful.

I called the first braiding salon that popped up on the search results. I asked if they do 'Bomb Twists' which is like kinky twist but a little different. The lady asked me what that was. I know my red flags when I see them and if they dont even know what I want, why in the world would I waste my time driving out there to show them what I want and then trust them with my hair?...No thanks...I pass!!

I had an appointment at 9am and was seated by 9 :) I showed stylist a picture of the hair do i wanted which btw wasnt complicated, just box twists. She started braiding my hair and she showed me a few braids asking me if they were correct size i told her bigger because i thought she had parted my hair wider for the wider braids..boy was i wrong! She was giving me box braids single plated. it looked awful! So much hair i looked like a q tip lol. my head was so big and heavy. So of course the result of putting a pound of hair on each single strand of your hair is painful! i was in so much pain for the whole two weeks i had them in. About a weak in half in i notice bald spots in my hair. I have bald spots now. please do not waste your time going here. i paid 180 dollars for a style i didnt ask for, unbearable pain and bald spots. btw before i left the shop i told the owner that i didnt like it and could they please take it down. she had an attitude with me when i asked her to take it down. Made me feel bad for asking a stylist to undo something she spent 6 hrs doing. But i shouldve followed my gut on it and had them take the braids out immediately to prevent balding. anyone with common sense would know that your hair will fall out if you add so much hair on single parts. Spend time and money some where else.
