The site includes all the relevant policies, helping me to be prepared for the appointment and the process. The text and email reminders were super helpful in making sure I kept track of the appointment. Since I hadn't had my lashes done in a while, the tech asked lots of questions and showed me examples to help us be on the same page about the look I was going for. I was going for a natural look, and that's exactly what I got. All ladies at the salon were very helpful and professional. It's been almost two weeks since I've had the lash extensions, and they still look great. The extensions have defined my eyes. I feel more comfortable going out the house as is, without a stitch of makeup. I'll be making my next appointment soon.

When we…read morechanged the service lash type service it wouldn't update on her website so I haven't been able to book the pre paid service I paid for and she's been ghosting me and just blocked my number now that it's the 31st and she isn't obligated to do anything for any of the fills I paid for, there was only one fill that I missed since I didn't get an appointment reminders with her website not working for me and I had finials week I missed an appointment for a fill she said costed 75 $ even tho it was pre paid already and it was also forfeited and I couldn't reschedule because I missed it, never in my life have I had a worse service and have been treated like this before In my life, wow. She said she's caught in with some lawsuit and I now can see why. I've called so much to book and since it's the last day of the month she now blocked me because today was the last day I could get the service I wanted paid for! Nice, thanks mark, I'm sure you're gonna excuse it by saying your website is fixed now but that doesn't excuse the way you handled it while it was down, I paid for too many months to not use any of the fills I paid for, thanks. Happy new year to you I hope you do better and fix this somehow or at least treat anyone too busy in life to read the reviews first and come to you in a professional positive manner and you learn something from this but I don't think you will.

Fast forward and it seems that the acne is under control (or at least controllable) but I was left with hyper pigmentation (dark spots) on my cheeks and forehead. I was introduced to Kelly (owner of Haven Spa Boutique) and she immediately sat down with me and gave me a full skin mapping (under the bright light...I mean the works). She customized a facial program for me and I have noticed a tremendous difference. My skin is softer, less breakouts, and most importantly...the dark spots are fading! I know she will get my skin back to were it used to be and better. Since then I have also gotten my eyelashes tinted and they turned out great...it looks like I have on light mascara most days. I truly recommend this place...you won't be disappointed (plus she takes continued education which is a major score for me...it make me trust her more with my skin knowing she's taking additional classes for different types of skin)!

Online booking is super easy and convenient. Recently, I broke a nail two weeks before my scheduled appointment. The staff was GRACIOUS enough to let me come in last minute. I sadly leave with the fake-looking, dramatic volume lashes with clusters. The latest "try", the lash tech was very hasty, my eyes burned and were poked throughout the session, and she simply said, "Done" afterward without a mirror or asking me if I liked my lashes. This is the polar opposite of the amazing experience I used to receive from the lash tech who quit. I may try to give it one last try given the location's proximity to my house but there are a lot of other lash places in South End, so I may need to cut my losses. I can't keep asking for a classic look and leave looking like a hot Cheeto girl with spider lashes. Nobody is going to take me seriously at work. I can't even take myself seriously in the mirror. They should take classic sets off their menu if they don't do them (properly).

So here's the thing: I feel like the lash artists are (for the most part) really good at what they…read moredo. There's only been one time that I've been that I requested my lashes be re-done. The problem is with the customer service and professionalism. If I, as somebody who is providing a service, were to not be forthcoming about a price for something, I would not expect my customer to know what I'm thinking or what I "meant" to charge. I have never been on the Fabulash Charlotte website. My first appt was something that I booked over the phone and from that moment on, I booked for the future in person after every appointment. There were issues about my bookings being incorrectly added to the schedule or being double-booked with another client. There was even a time when my appointment got booked with a lash artist I did not request AND it was for the wrong type of lashes. The appointment in question, which was another incorrectly booked appointment, was when I was informed for the first time that after four weeks, any appointment would have to be for a full set of lashes. I have no problem paying for a full set if that's what I am told before I get my lashes done. The salon had ample time to tell me that instead of the $85 I was prepared and very willing to pay, my service would be $275. There was no signage in the store indicating this policy and I had not ever been told that over the last few months that I've been a client. At the front desk, Laura said that the policy was on the website that I've never been to (I have since been on the website and the policy is still not there). Finally, I spoke with the owner, Mike Williams, and after unsuccessfully trying to get me to pay a price between the $85 that I was prepared to pay and the $275 that they thought I should pay, I was told that I would not be allowed to book any more appointments -- I've been banned. It's really a shame, because I think the lash artists are nice. I, however, will not stand for shoddy business practices. Either post your policies clearly or take the loss. EDIT: The owner is now attempting to bring legal action against me for their own mistake. I have already mentioned that I have no issues with the lash techs. I said it before and I'll say it again: I don't blame my clients for my mistakes. I would expect a business, especially one that wants to be known as reputable, would take responsibility for their wins and their losses. EDIT 2: At this point, I'm wondering why anybody would want to patronise this business. Kim and Mike didn't get the review they wanted and now, they are upset that I wrote about it. They are threatening me with legal action "because [I] wrote a one-star review", which is the very definition of extortion. Stay away from this place!!!!! EDIT: my lashes fell out like 3-4 days after my last appt. I do everything I'm supposed to: I wait three days before getting them wet, I dry and brush them out when they're wet, and I don't sleep on my face. I can't exactly say I'm sorry to be forced into going to a different lash place.
