Ok so yes, I am the girl who didn't read the reviews. Now after I have had my first (and last) appointment, I can honestly say my appointment was exactly as the others have mentioned. I am looking to gettin the same BS response as the others. I went for a $299 lip filler special, which let's be honest I knew was too good to be true, but I figured it will at least do something. I got there on time and an hour and a half later they finally did the injections. I have had lip filler before so I knew what to expect. I certainly was NOT expecting them to tell me after 45 minutes of numbing cream that they would be injecting my GUMS with numbing solvant like novicaine at the dentist. I refused and said I would deal with it. Same deal as the others, multiple staff trying to get me to spend amost $4000 on a membership. Lots of insults on my skin ( which is absolutely fine). Weird looks from the staff when I didn't want additional services. I found it odd once they asked me to pay BEFORE they did anything and sign all these consents on an ipad they were holding so I couldn't even read what I was signing. Don't come here for Botox! As other people mentioned the price gouging and overdosing is going to happen and they will not adjust to what you're used to. This nurse wanted to put 80 units ($800 worth) of Botox in just my forehead, which is crazy and double what I've gotten over the years . When I voiced my concern she straight up refused service. I later learned from a medical professional that their recommendation for the area I wanted was dangerously above FDA standard doseage and could have had me looking very stiff and unnatural. This leads me to believe they have over diluted product or are not actually giving you what you are paying for. After finding another local business that did not price gouge I was able to get what I was looking for at the dose I'm used to and the results were great. Go anywhere but here! read more

It all sounds too good to be true, and that's because it is. BEWARE!! The SCAM starts the second you book an appointment. They over-schedule slots and keep people rotting in wait for hours. I waited a total of 1.5 hours, only to discover they don't even do the very thing I signed up for: forehead Botox. I was essentially strung along through multiple sales pitches just to be told in the final hour that "they don't actually do that for first-timers." First, a 30-minute wait in the lobby. Then I was herded into a bleak, white-walled, freezing room where random staffers kept rotating in and out to shove "special packages" at me. These deals are indeed scams - the only decent treatments are hidden as costly add-ons. As for the supposed savings, the math doesn't math. Allure's sales script is obvious and corny - one person asked me for a "fun fact about myself," then the next staffer came in with a canned line about another "clever client" whose fun fact was asking ChatGPT where to get Botox and was told "Allure". Then Megan the injector came in and shoved a mirror in my face. "What do you see? Tired? Stressed? Worn out? Sad?" She grew visibly annoyed when I wouldn't insult my appearance. Instead, I told her I saw a beautiful woman in the mirror who'd like Botox. She abruptly left the room after I politely declined other treatments like filler, products, and thousands of dollars of lasers. I waited for another 30 minutes until finally seeking someone out because they'd forgotten about me. While waiting, you'll be left staring at nothing but the paperwork for their packages. If you get really bored, you can leaf through their sad binder of before-and-after photos of supposed success stories. Laughably, the only real difference in these photos of their many procedures is the warmer lighting and the clients' forced smiles. Allure even had to add arrows to the photos because there is truly no difference between the befores and the afters. When I finally got to the actual reason I came in, 40 units of Botox, Megan returned with a rushed and rude attitude. She curtly informed me she would administer 55 units, and cited "policy". But the cherry on top was when she announced they don't inject foreheads for first-time customers and won't get near the hairline. Their policy: New customers full price for 55 units in places of Allure's choosing, then come back in two weeks and pay again to get what you signed up for. When I expressed frustration, respectfully so, Megan's reaction wasn't professional, empathetic, or even mildly apologetic. She snapped at me and lashed out that I need to leave!! And leave I did - taking with me several potential Allure victims who'd been sitting for hours waiting for their turns to get scammed. Bottom line: Allure is not a med spa, it's a high-pressure sales floor that is cold, impersonal, scammy, and a total waste of time. read more

Edit: my name isn't Lisa, and I can't imagine what could possibly different about my muscles when in the walls of Allure as opposed to every other provider I've seen in the past decade. Not acknowledging that the injector scratched my face with a needle or that I had full movement and resting lines within 6 weeks of injection is CRAZY! For $8 per unit, I anticipated that Allure would be a Botox factory and they'd probably do some upselling to make up for the low cost per unit. What I was completely unprepared for were the multiple sales pitches throughout each appointment. Having filler, products, and packages pushed on you when you're taken to the room, then again by the injector, then again when someone comes into the room to take payment - all while they are unwilling to do Botox treatments for the areas you want - is really off-putting. I've been getting filler, tox, lasers, microneedling, facials, peels, and using medical grade skin care (at different times, at other providers) for nearly a decade, and I have never felt so badgered with sales pitches. I should have trusted my gut when they told me during my first appointment that they wouldn't do any botox in the forehead or lower face on a first appointment. The only thing they *would* do is inject (what seems to be their default) of SIXTY units around my eyes, which is typically the amount used for my whole face - forehead, 11s, bunnies, crows feet, and DAO - at other providers, and then I'd have to come back 2 weeks later for another appointment for any additional treatment areas. At minimum, this 2 appointment requirement should be communicated when the appointment is made. I timed my appointment based on optimal results for upcoming events, and it would be nice if patients can plan accordingly. The first injector I saw had a bit of a condescending air and was completely uninterested in holding a conversation or truly listening. It was like she was just waiting for me to stop talking so she could tell me my only option was the canned 60 units around my eyes. The second injector seemed to be utterly spaced out and disorganized. I was there for a little over an hour (!!) for a Botox touch up! She must've told me 6 times that she hadn't had her coffee that day (i was hoping she'd get her 10am coffee during one of the 20 minute stretches I was alone in the room). She scratched my eyebrow with a needle because she wasn't looking at what she was doing and turned back to her tray while holding the syringe too close to my face. Luckily it was my brow and not my eyeball. The information I was given both times felt like a script that was created with the goal of selling instead of an individualized treatment. Fast forward a mere 6 weeks and all $700 of tox that was put in my face has noticeably worn off, which is absolutely jarring to me considering I typically go about 4 months between appointments. The price is amazing - and I was prepared for a little trade off when it came to experience. But based on my disappointing experience at the appointments and the result feeling like an absolute waste of money, I don't plan on returning. read more

Please read till the end. And please read the other reviews, and BELIEVE them. Allure has multiple locations in several states. Check out the reviews at other locations, and you'll see the same themes over and over: Grossly over diluted product. No reconstitution from the vial in front of you (like literally everywhere else does). Incredibly pushy and rude employees who aggressively try to pressure you into monthly membership packages, or to sign up for a $3,800 "package" you very likely do not need. My entire adult life, 60 units of Botox covered my entire forehead/brows/eyes. Over 3 appointments in the time span of approx 3 months, I received almost *200* units of "Botox" Now only FIVE WEEKS after cumulatively receiving almost 200 units, I have full movement again. I'm telling you, AINT NO WAY. I had a total of *97* units in the span of ONE MONTH. After 96 units, the entire upper half of my face should have been glass. Nicole Kidman style. For 3-4 months straight. But NOPE. Wound up having to get an additional *86* units, two months after receiving 97. So TOTAL 183 UNITS in 3.5 months. And never once was it reconstituted in front of me from the vial. Also note the canned complete BS responses the "owner" leaves. He knows we're on to him, and has zero plans to be accountable and right his wrongs. No refunds or acknowledgment of guilt. Which is fine. Because intentional over-dilution of Botox without the patient's consent and knowledge is not only extremely unprofessional and grotesquely unethical, it also happens to be a FRAUDULENT BUSINESS PRACTICE as well as a VIOLATION OF MEDICAL STANDARDS. For anyone this happened to, please realize that we have routes to demand accountability, and those are reporting the company and your injectors to ALL of the following: 1. Your state's medical and nursing boards 2. Your State Department of Health (Consumer Complaints) 3. The FDA (both the MedWatch and Criminal Investigations departments) 4. Worst experience at Cornelius office! Went for the advertised $8/unit Botox! They tried to sell other packages and when I wasn't interested they said Botox comes in packages not number of units! Tried to convince me I needed packages of 95 units total when I've never had more than 55! When I said no I just need what I usually get elsewhere then they told me I had to use Xomin because it is my first visit they can't give me the Botox offer!! Both girls were unprofessional and just didn't care to honor what they offered when I specifically asked if there's a minimum units for the Botox offer and that I am a new client!! Scam. Im the idiot who stayed and accepted their plan of "no forehead injections the first visit". I sadly wasted my money when I had saved up for some long awaited self care. I've had Botox many times in the past and I've never not had any results after a week. I waited for it to set in and it never did and I can completely move everything and there is ZERO difference in my lines. Paid almost $500 for nothing. That's their scam- they schedule you out for more injections two weeks after your first appointment and that's how they make the difference up for their "$8" a unit deal. I'll never return. My appointment was at 5pm. I was there right on the dot. There was already someone waiting at the receptionist counter with no help in sight. When the receptionist finally showed up, she disappeared AGAIN. When I was finally greeted and given paperwork to fill out, there were 2 other women also waiting. i guess the refreshment in the lobby are for Whites only since the receptionist only offered them to the white women and ignored me. Later, When I was finally taken back to exam room, i waited over an hour for the doctor to make an appearance. He never came in so I left. What a complete waste of time. read more

My first impression was...very sweet nurses. They love bomb you to death. Then before you know it, you've purchased a lot of stuff that doesn't last. I have permanent scars where they stuck me under my eyes. When I went back and told them about it. They brushed it off. Their Botox does not last as it should. Don't be ALLURED!! read more
