I went into this nail salon, for the first time. The manager asked what I wanted & I told her - a manicure. She said to sit down and wait in waiting area. There was a woman already sitting there. A few minutes later, the manager got up and told me to leave and come back another time! I was shocked and thoroughly embarrassed! It was humiliating! She did not tell the woman, sitting there, to leave - just me! Was it because I am a man? Shame on that manager and the entire salon!!! I would never go there again and encourage others to boycott that salon! I have gone to many nail salons in this area and was always welcomed and treated kindly and with respect. After trying this place out back in April for a birthday pedicure, I finally found the time to return with a friend for some more pampering. Easily made an appointment with them day of for a lunchtime slot. They were able to accommodate two chairs side by side within a few minutes so I could socialize during my time there. Wide selection of colors and brands. Equally robust selection of pedicure treatments. We selected the Honey Spa Pedicure to take advantage of the vitamin content and anti-inflammatory benefits of the sweet concoction. This option also includes a 10-minute foot massage with hot stones and a steamer, callus treatment, paraffin treatment, and 6 minute chair massage. It was $45 (if you're paying cash) and it was worth every penny. So relaxing. I didn't realize how much I needed that back, neck, and shoulder massage until it was over. Everyone was very nice, keeping us informed of what was going on during our brief wait at the start. Definitely my go-to location going forward. I love that they use the plastic liners in each tub here (as I've found not every place does). I've always felt very comfortable here whether solo or with a friend. read more

I called this Salon in the evening and asked if they were still accepting walk-ins, and was told yes. I arrived and was told to sit in the waiting area. The Salon is friendly and inviting. When I sat in the chair and started picking my selection for a pedicure, I was told I was limited in services due to the time. So my experience was ok i was not impressed with the service i received with a 60$ Gold pedicure if you get the service you expect it to be worth the cost but this Young man was probably the worst person i ever received a pedicure from he wasn't a bad kid he just didn't seem like he even want to touch me the vibe in the place had me on edge and just from that i probably wouldn't return! This place is very nice. Quiet and clean space which is nice. They use the plastic covers for your pedicure for extra cleanliness. Staff are all very nice. If you get a non-basic pedicure you also get a 6 minute chair massage. One I didn't like was that prices are almost kept secret. They show you a book with prices and then take it away the moment you pick. Why not have them posted like in other salons. And you only get a certain book based on the treatment you ask for. For example if you want a pedicure your "book" will only include prices for pedicure. read more

So, after suddenly having to find a new nail tech, I was in a bit of a panic. After reading a ton of reviews for various nail salons in the area, I discovered Hi Nails. I couldn't be happier with the experience! I WILL DEFINITELY return. When I was greeted, the nail tech took the time to listen to what I wanted and I never felt ignored or rushed. I had the honey pedicure and truly loved it. Ivy was a perfectionist and every little detail was top notch. For my manicure, I like the powder dip in French, but am particular and like the white line to be smaller and I generally do gel top coat. Ivy was on it! She was seriously amazing. The salon appears to be very clean as well. Extra benefits: 6 min chair massage after nails were done, paraffin wax on hands with no extra charge. They also have those socks with no toes to keep your feet warm after pedicures. Truly pampered from start to finish. Plan to not rush when you go there, although I'm sure if you were in a hurry, they would probably accommodate that as well. Very disappointed with my pedicure! Been waiting so long to have a relaxing pedicure on my day off. She skipped over all the details and just painted my toes basically. The scrub was incredibly quick, the removal of the dead skin on my feet was not even worth mentioning. The so called massage on my feet and calves was never addressed! I've been here many times since moving to the area last June and only last week did I experience a not so pleasant time. This is why I couldn't give them 5stars, all of the staff there is awesome and except the one young gentleman that works there. I won't say his name for privacy reasons but probably the youngest there with the worst attitude. I will continue to go because honestly everyone else is great and not to blame for his behavior but good luck if you have to deal with him. I know I won't ever deal with him again for sure! This place was amazing! I got dip nails, and the woman was very nice, and she took her job seriously. They also do dip & gel nail extensions, which I found very convenient. The experience was great and the people were great too. It was very cheap for everything they offered, which also included a free massage, and they dipped my hand in wax to smooth it out. I used to go to Central Nails and this place is such an upgrade. It's a little bit more expensive but only by like $10 and much better staff who seem like they actually care about your experience. I've been going there for 4 months now so I can confidently say it's the best nail salon I've ever been to... and I've been to a LOT over the years!! They pay incredible attention to detail which was the first thing that blew me away with my first visit. They always greet you immediately when you walk in and all the staff there are so nice. I get the UV gel nails and I could ramble about all the details about what I love that they do to them, but you just have to go and try them for yourself. I guess they're a little more on the pricier side since they charge extra for designs on each nail but honestly I don't even care because they're worth it and I think they know it too. They also give you a shoulder massage, paraffin wax, and a hand massage at the end! One time they were even giving every customer a real carnation! So sweet. She did the dip powder and put the the liquid on 5 nails at once then dipped them in the powder. The edges of my nails didn't cover well. When I spoke up, she ignored me.
