I found this salon on yelp after going to my regular salon only to be told the wait was over an hour. What a great experience, I was greeted enthusiastically as I entered, I explained what I wanted, the nail tech understood and began working on my nails right away. This is my second time at this nail salon. Both times Chenda (I'm not sure I got her name right) did my nails and I was very happy both times. Fast, no fuss, and done well. Today I got a gel manicure and am excited it will last a few weeks. Last time I did regular polish and the work was good as well. The salon is clean and bright. Her little son is a cutie. I like calling ahead to make sure they can take me. Also $30 for a gel manicure is great. I am guessing nail art or appliqués are extra. Sweet! read more

Today was my second visit to this establishment . My sister made a 1pm appointment for 3 pedicures. We checked in and then waited and waited and waited .... at 2pm after soaking my hooves in a hot bath I was just done....perhaps because they are too cheap to use AC it was literally 95 degrees in the building with no fans or anything. I'm sorry but between the child watching kids shows and the heat that is not relaxing! who wants a hot towel and hot stones at that point ? needless to say I tried to voice my concerns and they couldn't understand me. Lastly the female owner burnt my moms toe with the electric filing thingy magingy..... with so many other options I will not be returning and was disappointed as my family was in from out of town and this was supposed to be a treat :( read more

I really like this salon. The gel pedicure is a life saver for winter days when you need to put your boots right after having a pedicure. They do a good job and the price is fair. So I had my nails done about a week ago, early morning, figuring around 10 o'clock. When I walked in it was so quiet, there was no music. There was nothing but the two individuals who own it assuming it's husband and wife the wife was extremely rude to me, I explain to her what I wanted to have done and she was very disregarding and I found that very rude but I shrugged it off and I allowed her to do what I asked her to do after many attempts of trying to explain how I wanted my fingernails because of a language barrier she started getting frustrated with me and then mentioned how she would not be wanting to do my nails and that she had other clients come in which I found very unprofessional so with that being said, I got up and I was about to leave until the husband Allowed me to stay and told her she can do my nails and throughout the whole process all she did was grab my arm. She was very rough with me if you can avoid going here I really suggest you do that. I'm not very happy with this place anymore since the original owner left it's been very different they're not very nice they are they want to rush you and get you out and they want to charge you $90 for a set of nails now that's insane. I want to start by saying that the ladies that work here are delightful and if I was rating on personality alone they would have received 5 stars. The work that was done on my nails was the worst thing I have ever experienced. I kept telling myself that it would look better at the end of the process, even though I let the lady know that the shape was not right she insisted that it was just the beginning on the process. I was really dumbfounded at the end of the process. My nails were warped and looked nothing like what I asked for. Also, I had to pay $50 for this mess. I was too shocked to argue the price for what was done to my nails. I really depend on reviews to make decisions on where I should go to get service. I feel that the previous reviews could not be from the same place because the tech even stated that she couldn't do anything fancy. I wasn't asking for anything fancy though. To be fair she did let me know that I could come back to get the nails fixed but my experience was beyond poor. I did not trust her with my nails. I ended up booking an appointment with a another salon for the same day to get my nails redone. This experience was truly disappointing. read more

I was working when I saw a customer come in with these beautiful nails and complimented them. And I felt bad but I questioned her like a cop. Now my first experience getting acrylics done were terrifying. The guy had messed up and made them crooked. So I was very picky with finding a new nail tech. I had a conversation with the customer and she told me about Soriya. And I was excited. Later that night, I called and made an appointment for today at 12. I am beyond pleased. Soriya was gentle, and lovely and very easy to have a conversation with. And I am very socially awkward. So it was comforting. As well as she told me, "I love to make my customers happy. Some people don't like me. But I always make sure that I ask them how they like and want their nails. I treat their nails as if they were my own. I make sure that they are top quality." I hate to leave a bad review because the owner was so personable BUT what I left with was horrifying. I have been doing my own gel nails for years and decided to treat myself. I asked for a coffin shape and left with ... who knows. It looked like two different people worked on my hands. There were bumps and ridges all throughout. Two of my nails have already lifted and fallen off and it been just two weeks. I'm really upset as this place received amazing reviews and fell short of my expectations. I will not be returning. As a "no longer practicing" licensed nail tech myself, I am very, very choosy with where I will go get my nails done. I notice everything - every sanitary mishap, every misuse of tool and every single step in a technique. Creating a good set of nails is like building a house... you need a good, solid, well-prepared base. I went in to this spa 2 weeks ago to take a look around and check the prices. I left with a beautiful pedicure, soft feet, and a pretty set of hands. The pedicure chairs were comfortable, tubs were clean (brand spankin' new) and the service was spot-on. The ladies were so accommodating and welcoming. They engaged me in conversation that I could understand and did not chit-chat much in a language I didn't understand. Chan was my nail tech for the time and my nails were beautiful. She prepped them without skipping a step. She paid close attention to detail - and was extremely pleasant. My nails lasted 2 full weeks - not one chip or piece of lifting. I could have made it three weeks but I want the polish change. Another option I really like is that they offer a shellac polish without manicure option. I don't need a full manicure every two weeks but I do like a polish change. I'll be going in this afternoon for that and know that this time, I will again, enjoy and relax :) So glad to have found a place so close to home that has all the comforts and services I seek. read more

I just happen to stop into this salon because I had had my hair done next door and someone recommended it. I hadn't had my nails filled and painted in 2 months and they looked pretty bad. I was helped immediately and served by a very nice young lady. I hate to have my nails done because I don't like to sit that long and do nothing and I let her know that. She was very sweet and said she understood and that she would make sure that she worked quickly. I have been to nail salon before where it has taken up to 2 hours to do my nails and I just don't have that time to waste. I wish I could remember her name but she was lovely and she did my nails in under an hour and did an absolutely beautiful job. It seems like it's a family who works there for the most part and they were very cute in the way they interacted with each other. They help each other and get along nicely. The salon itself was very clean and simply decorated which I like. They offered a $20 pedicure with having my nails done but I didn't have time for that. Oh Soriya, i've definitely missed you! I was a loyal customer of Soriya's when she owned California Nails in Cranston. When i found out she opened a new shop after almost a year of trying to find a new place to fill the void she had left by selling her business i was ecstatic. I was so excited to finally have my nails done properly again! The brand new location is GORGEOUS! The new pedicure chairs are really comfortable the brown and burgundy motif goes really well together. This place is spotless and you can tell Soriya really puts pride in her shop. There is a selction of OPI and China Glaze colors to choose from and a bunch of Gelish Shellac colors as well. Soriya and the girls really are passionate about what they do and take the time to make sure all customers are completely satisfied with the services they receive. When getting my pedicure today i noticed a woman who had a nail design which she brought in and wanted on her nails from Pinterest. Her technician took the time to make sure every dot and line on that design was absolutely perfect before that customer left. I'm that annoying person who more often than not smudges a nail or two before leaving the salon because i have a hard time sitting still and Soriya always fixes it and is happy to do so (which is much different from some other places). I'm excited to go back in a couple of weeks to have my shellac and pedicure done again. Give this place a try! It's really close to the Warwick Mall and your money goes much further than your average place. ($35 for a Spa Pedicure- Definitely a bargain with the amount of massage it comes with!) read more

I don't usually post 5 star reviews but I was too pleased not too! I really enjoyed getting my first pedicure! They even used what looked to be like a cheese grater on the bottom of my feet! Very relaxing and made my neglected feet feel loved once again! My manicure was just as great as an experience. We had an appointment for 3 at 4:30 two of us were taken and then another lady at 5:30 came in and was taken before our 3rd person was taken... she didn't end up getting her nails done when we set up an appointment for all of us.
