So happy I came ran into Sergio and his crew at Alluring Homes. I interviewed 20 contractors and everyone had a different opinion on how to take me for a ride. My house was leaking all over the place, all the windows, doors, roof. You name it it leaked, and guess what, I had installed all new doors, windows and roof just 5 years ago. Come to find out the previous contractors didn't seal anything correctly and the roof wasn't protected up to the edges. Sam and his brother run an incredible business - very customer service oriented. We ordered a Tesla Solarglass roof and Tesla contracted with them to tear out the old roof and work with them on installing the new one - I am so happy they did!. Sam was always at our site and communicating with status, questions, and options. His crew was very professional as well - everything was cleaned up every day when they left. Right after they removed the roof and installed the underlayment, it started to rain... for days. They were unable to continue installing the roof but Sam stayed in communication to ensure things were safe and watertight. Whatever they did up there to prepare for the new roof, it kept all of the water out. Quite a relief. And of course after that COVID-19 distancing kicked in. But luckily a roof is considered essential, so when the rains stopped they came back to finish the job in a safe manner. Finally, when the roof was done they installed new gutters with leaf guards. They had a machine to make the gutters on site, meaning that there were no seams - they fit perfectly in one piece. The color was a bit off at first, even though it was the one we agreed to, and Sam changed them out to make it right - he did it without me having to ask. Again, incredible! We needed a new roof, our house was damaged in the Creek fire, so we needed it fixed quickly. Sergio came out right away. Looked at the damage, then sat us down and helped us understand all of our options. No hard sell, just patient and helpful. Making sure we knew the pros and cons of everything so we could make the best decision for us. He showed us options we never would have known about. He was so friendly, and so patient with all of our questions. We picked what we wanted, and it was installed in no time. They even came out during a light rain to tarp the roof, so we didn't have to worry about anything getting damaged before work started. We ordered a shingle that is a special order item. He got it for us in a day. He and his crew showed up, each and every one of his workers was friendly and they know their stuff! My roof was done in no time, and then they cleaned up the area around the house, making it look nicer than before they got here! We had some fierce winds come through, and to us it looked like a few of the shingles got damaged. We called them up, and they came right out to inspect the roof. Luckily, nothing was damaged. Just a little loose. He and his crew went over the entire roof and glued down anything that looked like it might move. Then they went up on an out building, a little shed in the yard and fixed a few missing shingles on that for me, just because Sergio noticed it needed it. It's 18 years since we built this office. It was time for a new roof.Which we did through Alluring Homes a several months ago. I'm so pleased to write this review on account of having been so pleased with the professional service from Alluring Homes. After interviewing and getting 8 different roofing estimates from contractors for a new commercial flat roof(Alluring Homes was about the 3rd) I knew I wanted to go with Alluring but, my business partners wanted to continue entertaining more bids. Alluring Homes track record was a big factor for me(which was all 5 Star) but, price was a big factor for my partners. Finally,after some negotiation my partners accepted the bid and signed the contract for the job on Veteran's Day,(November 11,2017). What we did not anticipate was how far Alluring Homes went Above and Beyond our expectations. They coordinated the work in the middle of a small risk of a rain forecast(Due to my anxiety and the mess I'd have to deal with if the next rain forecasted should be steady or heavy). They agreed to move forward with the work 12 hrs following 0% forecast...which they did. The job was estimated to run about 3 days(due to permits from some modification to the roof that was needed). The night after the first day they began (as Murphy's Law would have it) there was a little rain. Very little really but, it manage to get through and cause water damage to about 8-9 ceiling tiles. Without missing a beat they replaced all the ceiling tiles(which took about an hour, including cleaning,etc). All else went well and we paid the remaining balance within a couple weeks. About a month later there was a short but, strong rain at night. I discovered 2 different ceiling tiles with wet stains. They came right over within a couple hours. They replaced the ceiling tiles and work on the roof for about an hour to insure they covered any and all possible areas of water entrance for the future. Here we are after a steady steady rain of 24 hours and I'm happy to report that not only did Sergio(the owner) text me too make sure everything was good with our office ceiling but, that all ceiling tiles are presently in perfect order. Sergio(The owner) is a U.S. Marine Veteran(doesn't look like it...so young) and his work & business ethic is to go ABOVE & BEYOND...which he surely showed us he did. I met with Sergio on the roof of my office building and waited several weeks for a written quote to make repairs on my roof. Today after waiting several weeks and not receiving a quote the owner Sergio called me to discuss preparation of his written quote. Sergio told me that the only way he would do my job is if I agreed not to let anyone on my roof for the duration of his warranty which I believe was to be 5 years. That means that at my commercial office building I would have to agree that nobody, including myself could be on the roof for any reason and that I would be committing all AC and roof repairs and replacement to Sergio and his company. I told Sergio that I thought this was unreasonable and insane and he told me that is what I would have to agree to before he would prepare a written estimate/do my job. In retrospect I think the public needs to be aware of this conversation. Let me add that in person Sergio and his other representative seem to be really nice and straightforward people. Alluring Homes Inc. just re-tiled my roof. I was very happy with their work and would highly recommend the company for any roofing project. I found the company pricing to very fair and competitive. Considering they use top grade materials at a competitive price was to my advantage. In fact, after the tiles and the original roofing paper were removed, it was apparent the wood on the front of the house was rotten and needed replacing. Alluring Homes absorbed the additional cost of replacing the wood. Considering I have a large ranch style house the cost of the additional wood was substantial. We've had some trying experiences with our roof, but I think we finally found our guys! Sergio and Sam were very helpful, very professional, and did a fantastic job on two different projects. The first was a flat roof that was in dire need of replacing: they did a very thorough job to make sure that there wouldn't be any future issues. The next was the back half of our brand new roof which was supposed to just be a patch around a new AC. However, Sergio pointed out that some areas had been done incorrectly (Sergio spotted out where our previous roofers had simply bent the asphalt shingles instead of using the correct flashing around a skylight), and a good percentage of the new shingles had been worn down by the AC crew that did the replacement. They ended up fixing all the problem areas, adding another layer of shingles, and even put in some attic vents for us (bonus!) for a very fair price.
