AKA to trust someone with your eyebrows is like trusting someone with your LIFE! From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed, comfortable, and confident that I was in great hands. The studio was spotless, calm, and beautifully maintained, which immediately put me at ease. The threading artist took the time to actually listen to what I wanted, asked thoughtful questions about my brow shape and preferences, and explained the process before starting. That level of care and attention is rare and so appreciated. The threading itself was quick, precise, and surprisingly gentle. I've had threading done at many places before, but this was by far the least painful experience. The artist worked with such skill and confidence--every hair was removed with intention, and nothing felt rushed. When she handed me the mirror at the end, I was genuinely blown away. My eyebrows were perfectly shaped, symmetrical, clean, and natural-looking--not too thin, not overdone, just flawless. What really sets this place apart is the attention to detail and professionalism. They made sure I was happy with the shape, did small touch-ups without hesitation, and even gave helpful tips on brow maintenance and regrowth. If I could give a zero star review I would. I have been coming to Ally's Threading for about 2 years now, and have brought in a lot of business through recommendations to family and friends. I have been a consistent customer and have made appointments every 2 weeks (or more) for the last few years. I have been a consistent customer of Tiba & Ayesha. The main issue here is that Allys gives you a 15 minute appointment and virtually no grace period. They are also located in an extremely busy plaza with a very crowded parking lot, however if you are even 3-5 minutes late they inform you that they cannot do your service. Further, Ayesha specifically speaks under her breath down to you as she is trying to confront you regarding being late, which is incredibly rude and inappropriate. My latest interaction with Allys is as follows. I had a 2:00pm appointment with Ayesha, I was very busy that day and was running a few minutes late because I got stuck attempting to pick up a prescription. I called ahead and let them know that I was running late and I arrived only 7 minutes late at 2:07pm after parking and running to get inside. When I arrived, Ayesha was extremely confrontational with me and told me she could not perform my service and that I needed to wait to see if her next appointment came in order to see if she could do my service. I waited approximately 15 minutes, and her next appointment also showed up 5 minutes late, in all that time she could have performed my service but she ignored me went into the back room and refused to do my service. She finally greeted her next appointment very kindly and informed me that she would not be doing my service as her appointment had arrived albeit, 5 minutes late. I informed her that I had only arrived 7 minutes late, and that she could have done my service in the meantime, and she told me that I can't be late and that "she respects other people's time unlike me." I then got my service done by someone else who was available, paid and left. Yesterday, I attempted to make an appointment online as I had thought my last experience was not the best, but was willing to give the salon another chance. I tried to make an appointment online and I was unable so I called the salon, I believe Tiba answered the phone and told me that I was no longer welcome in the salon because they had had a negative experience with me, and I was aghast. I apologized if I had offended anyone and represented that I would attempt to be on time moving forward, however she indicated that it was impossible for me to get my service done at that salon anymore. I believe this is incredibly punitive, rude and unprofessional. I think it is horrific customer service to ban someone without warning, after being rude to them to begin with. Ayesha, Tiba and the whole Ally's salon are extremely unprofessional and rude and frankly narcissistic. Tiba specifically is incredibly rude and talks down to her clients as services are being performed chastising them for not waiting enough time between appointments even if they express that they have trips or events or taking multiple calls in between services, but hypocritically having such an intense "on-time policy." Ally's needs to understand that people have lives and jobs and sometimes being exactly precisely on time for every appointment is impossible especially in a city like Los Angeles where traffic doesn't always permit. I am disgusted by the way I was treated at this salon, and I would urge anyone who is planning to make this a regular salon to think twice unless they wanted to be treated with utter disrespect. read more

I waited for her, but apparently, she had an appointment and that was something I wasn't informed about ahead of time--so I ended up being passed to another stylist. That was fine at first, but things quickly went downhill. The new girl started on my eyebrows, and then she stopped working on me because another appointment showed up. I was left sitting awkwardly in the chair, while she handled the other client. That's absolutely unacceptable. Once you start on someone, you finish with them--especially with something like eyebrow threading. I left feeling ignored and uncomfortable. Aisha (sorry if misspelled) did an amazing job at my eyebrows today. I walked in, as my partner was getting his haircut at True Barbershop nearby. Instead of waiting, I looked up some nearby eyebrow threading spots and this one popped up. I was a walk-in and the iPad check-in quoted me a 35 minutes wait. I think I only waited like 10 minutes before Aisha called me to her chair. She has such a soothing voice and I loved that she went over what she did with my eyebrows at the end of the threading (one eyebrow is thicker than the other, so she was telling me that we need to let the other one grow a bit more). My eyebrows look great and now I think I will accompany my partner when he gets a haircut more often, so I can get my eyebrows threaded here, instead of back home in Ventura County. Thank you Aisha! Would go again for underarm sugaring. Got a Brazilian but it hurt a lot & the technician used one ball of sugar for the entire area. Didn't think it removed all the hairs for my Brazilian. Technician uses long swift movements so it hurts a lot. Also disclaimer: they don't use gloves for any of the sugaring, not at least for my visits. Also took a phone call mid service so I didn't feel it was sanitary. Affordable underarm sugaring, probably wouldn't go for threading as it's kinda overpriced. read more

They look like I grew them out for 1 week. But, once I notice these things and we already did a revision, I'm not going to try again as it could just make it worse.
