There are very few good coffee establishments in HP and ER area that serve good coffee, and they're one of them. I came on a warm (80 degree), sunny Wednesday morning to grab a quick Latte on my way to work. This is the only renaming coffee shop that I have not been to in the area. I perused their tiny and modest menu; I ordered a hot Latte x Half n half. It was bloody pretty good-smooth & rich. Similarly, they sell coffee bags for those coffee addicted customers as well as pastries. Female staff was friendly, competent & has a cool right arm tattoo. Their interior space is extremely claustrophobic so you need to step outside after ordering. Moreover, there is a tiny bench underneath the tree for you to chill and a rear alley way patio. They do not have a rear parking lot, however, plethora of street metered parking are available for customers. Atmosphere was relaxing. Interior and exterior consist of collage blue tiles which really stands out. I think the owner Michael S., whose last name is way too long to spell, did good adding a coffee shop in the hood. As I end this pulchritudinous review, I say this...I'm glad I stopped by today. Overall, I enjoyed my coffee drink and chocolate croissant. I will try a cold coffee/tea drink next time. I've only tried their espresso-based drinks, and I thought there were well-made. The cortado I tried recently had a balanced flavor that complemented the nuanced flavors of the coffee. During my visits, it has taken some time to get my drinks ready given the small amount of staff. However, it has never felt like an extraordinarily long wait.

It was a hot day, and they looked absolutely perfect for the weather. After asking the firefighters what they were drinking, I found out it was actually a protein shake made by the very store they were standing next to. Of course, I had to give it a try--and I'm glad I did! It was delicious. They had everything I would normally put into one of my protein shakes, and then some. I stood waiting for a significant amount of time while two employees in the back were focused entirely on a personal conversation, seemingly ignoring the front of the establishment. ​It is disheartening to see such a decline in the level of service. I hope management addresses this, as the atmosphere and attentiveness were what made me a regular customer in the first place.
