I ordered a peach smoothie and paid an extra $0.75 for strawberry boba. When I received my drink, it had both honey boba and strawberry boba. I don't like honey boba, so I politely let the owner know that my order wasn't what I expected. His response was simply, "Well, that's what you ordered," and he didn't offer to remake the drink or help resolve the issue. Mistakes happen, and I understand that. What was disappointing was the customer service from the owner. In a shop where no other customers are present a simple offer to remake the drink or explain the menu would have made a big difference. I only have positive comments about this boba shop! Good service and super delicious sushi and boba. They have sushi on the weekdays and the portion is pretty good for the price. They also have poke available as well. I absolutely love their cheese foam and I love that they put it around the cup instead of just on top. I got the strawberry limeade with 25% sweet. It was on the sour side more, didn't really taste too much of the strawberry, more limey. There are strawberry bits in the drink. This is one of the best milk tea places around. I am an almond milk tea with boba junkie and I'm very particular about my drink. Kung Fu Tea is my favorite but ever since they closed their only store in Los Angeles, it's been hard to find a place that's just as good. The Boba Street is the place. I'm so glad I found it. I ordered a Hibiscus Butterly Boba Tea (L) with regular ice and 75% sweetness. It was refreshing but a bit watered down. I think it's a modest tea drink. This boba tea shop seems popular among local residents since I saw a handful of customers while I was visiting. To bluntly put it, I had better boba drink in SGV (hub of boba teas) but this one is slightly acceptable in taste. I will need to try other drinks if ever I'm in the area. There are going to be a lot of over the top creations, however if adjustments to sweetness is your thing like it is ours. This isn't the place for you to try. It's cheap but again our drinks were not that great since we requested less sweet 25% which tasted really sweet. My dad lychee green tea was watery and my son's peach oolong tea was definitely over brewed. My drink was really sweet. Glad I got a regular. We got a taro milk tea, a mango/coconut milk tea with boba and they were both perfect. Great flavor in the drinks and great texture with the boba. The poke bowl was delicious and the sushi roll I got was too. I got the rainbow roll and the tuna and salmon were buttery smooth. The service has been fantastic on every visit. The staff is friendly and patient, which always makes a big difference when you are visiting a new spot. Just let them know it's your first time, and they will give you all the time you need.
