It gets busy here when school kids are hanging out but if you are outside of those windows, it doesn't take too long. Service ranges from friendly to standard, so no complaints there. The one issue I have with them is they show a loyalty program in terms of entering your phone number -- if you order online as well as the register. But I've never gotten any points. I once asked the owner about it and he claimed that they do in fact give out items, and said he would check on it that night when I told him the situation. But he never actually asked my name and info, and I've still never received any points since, despite having ordered here about twice a week for the past several weeks. This place is a joke. Really poorly run, to the point that it's barely a functioning restaurant. (1) Website and phone are both out of order. They advertise shaved ice all over their website. I tried calling to confirm, but their phone is disconnected. I went in person, and the cashier said they're not actually offering shaved ice. Frustrating. (2) Ordered some snacks instead. Waited 30 minutes, and when I checked on my order, it turned out they hadn't even passed it on to the kitchen...so I'd been waiting for nothing. We were the only customers in the restaurant too. Got a refund and left. The excuse I got is that they're under new management. But maintaining a website/phone and processing customer orders are pretty essential parts of managing a restaurant. Small is good for 1-2 people, and we were told that large serves 3-4. The popcorn chicken and crispy tofu were both good, as advertised, and actually crispy. They were served with cayenne and soy sauce on the side. Food came out surprisingly fast. Drinks took a bit longer. Drinks: Tried the Matcha Bandera with mango instead of strawberry. I also subbed oat milk instead of regular milk. I thought the flavors worked well together. Also had the Berry Hokkaido which turned out to be Hokkaido milk tea with strawberry puree. About a year ago, my child and their school friend had a highly frustrating experience here. The staff brought them food they never ordered. Even though the kids refused it, the staff printed an "unpaid" receipt and pressured them into paying for it anyway.When we reached out to the business, they refused to give us a refund. Instead, they handed us a 25% discount for a future visit, which we later discovered didn't actually exist in their system and couldn't be used. But ordering at the front cleared up this issue; I ordered this with boba for a friend and grabbed myself a 25% (mod) sweet Almond Milk Tea. Almond is one of those "difficult to get right" drinks in my opinion, but TeaMorrow exceeded expectations, especially with the customized sugar. On my first visit i settled on zha jiang noodles with 75% hot, and honeydew milk tea. The honeydew milk tea is pretty alright, although kinda weird that the normal order is lactose free creamer instead of regular milk, but it still tastes nice. Normal sweet is kinda equal with 75% on most boba places. The zha jiang cooked al dente with enough salt and seasoning, and 75% hot is kinda medium hot on most asian places. Not bad at all. Parking: TeaMorrow is located near the stop for the Metro. There is street parking but it might be difficult during normal hours. Interior: TeaMorrow is not very big. The interior had a couple of tables and chairs that were quite sticky. There were a lot of flies flying around. The music was very loud and the room did not absorb the sound well so it echoed a lot. It was a bit difficult to have a conversation. One thing to note is that the menu does not show the prices. You will need to order at the kiosks if you want to see the prices of the items. Service: There is a cashier to take your order if you choose not order at the kiosk. They will call out the order once it is ready and you can pick it up on your own. I came in around noon , which was just in time to beat the afternoon rush. there are many outlets along the walls and plenty of seating space which makes this an ideal study spot. however, there is music playing in the background (GOOD music though) so that's something to keep in mind if you prefer quiet study spots. Since the drink includes watermelon, I'm not sure the drink is a seasonal item. Although the drink was tasty, it wasn't too sweet but it was a little boring imho - literally blended up watermelon + sweetened green tea, nonetheless, my husband really enjoyed it. When it comes to the food, the value you get from the price paid is a little subpar but they still deliver the classic taiwanese dishes decently. I enjoyed flavors, and will be back due to its above-average food quality and ambiance! Hokkaido Milk Tea (4/5) - I went for 50% sweetness and I'm so glad I did because even after the adjustment, the drink was rather saccharine still. The boba was a good consistency, with the outside having a blurry texture due to being slightly overcooked and steeped in liquid too long but the core having a nice bounce. The Hokkaido flavor is present and yummy, although a little strong on the syrup sweetness. Passionfruit Green Tea Slushie (4/5) - One for the better slushies I've ever had at a boba joint - it wasn't too sweet and had a fine texture of ice/sleet to juice ratio. The lychee jelly add-on made this drink extra delightful so I highly recommend it. Yummy and would order again! Popcorn Chicken (3.5/5) - Overall, the idea is there and the popcorn chicken is made with a lot of chicken (whereas some other places is more breading than actual meat) which I appreciate. On a weekday after 2/3pm, you'll find most frequenters are young students. With its abundance of outlets lining the walls, reliable wifi, and open tables it's a nice place to study, work, or catch up with a friend. I found this place on my way back to my friends place in Glendale. It's a nice little tea place that serves food like the cafés. I saw that they serve dumplings here so we decided to grab some here. We also ordered some tea eggs to try while we waited. The tea eggs were delicious. Definitely had an earthly favorite flavor from the tea and was unique take on the hard boiled egg. I've never had eggs like this before. We got three orders of dumplings to bring to the party. The pork and cabbage, the pork and chives, and the vegetarian. I got to try all three and they were all very tasty. Perfectly cooked and delicious with vinegar. As for service, the folks behind the counter were super friendly and very helpful. We basically looked at the menu decided on the dumplings and paid with our cards right then in there and waited for the food to be ready. The place itself is located in a downtown area of South Pasadena. There's a lot of businesses around, so the parking is a little hard to come by but we were able to find one a couple blocks away. This also happened to be a Saturday night so it wasn't surprising that it was a busy area. The place seemed very cool, and some people were hanging out with their laptops. I chose human interaction and had a lovely exchange with an employee, who suggested I try the mild spice option. Best advice ever! This soup broth was rich in taste and depth. I do suggest adding extra noodles to your order and maybe even extra veggies, as the ratio of liquid and noodles isn't exactly ideal.
