I visited this store in DUMBO yesterday and met with a woman named Hailey, who was incredibly passive aggressive and simply mean. She should not be in a customer facing role. I had purchased an item for my daughter and had concerns regarding its quality so I went in and asked for an exchange. She looked at me, at 59 year old woman who lives locally, with skepticism and disdain. She told me I did not care for this item properly, purchased just one month earlier, which is what caused the problem. I assured her I cared for the item according to its label suggestions, as I do with mine and my daughters other workout gear. She then proceeded to continue to condescendingly school me on what I should have done to care for my items and what she cannot do for me. It is a $68 pair of shorts. I assure you I was not trying to "pull one over on anyone." All I wanted was for the store to stand by the quality of your products and offer an exchange of the item. I left completely shocked at how I was treated by this person, I could have technically been her grandmother, and truly so upset for the rest of the afternoon--so much so that I felt the need to write this review. This woman Hailey honestly could have cared less about the customer or the quality of the products she represents. She should be placed somewhere in the back room. She certainly should not be interacting with customers like myself who lives 3 blocks away, but will never set foot inside the store again after this interaction. read more
