The front desk staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and airy with gigantic size! They have group discount, AAA discount if you book a room on line . Everything is good here except the lobby area needed a window wash, elevator, furnitures also needed a good clean to make it a pleasant stay for customers.

Lobby is deceiving because the original view goes beyond what you see. Check-in desk is round and right off the food service area. On the day we went, the power went out prior to us arriving. We were notified of the power outage as we arrived. We were given a couple of drinks from the refrigerator for the inconvenience of the power outage. My husband and I came from a wonderful cruise on the Icon of the Seas. We had a late flight to Charlotte (9pm), so we opted to rent a room instead of seating at the airport. The room was nicely decorated. My only issue is not having the sink inside the actual bathroom, otherwise, it was good. The room was spacious and bright. The power came on shortly after getting in the room. We had water bottles in the room too. I had an opportunity to get a better view of the lobby and the extension including the outdoors, and it was really lovely. The decor is industrial design, and nicely designed. There's no shuttle service, but they provide a ride share service to and from the airport. FYI: I recently learned about the day rate, so it's an option for those who may need a place from 10-6 or whatever the hours might be. I paid regular price and informed the staff we would be checking out the same day.

Very modern, rustic decor that anyone millennial or younger would love, and I liked it too. Exposed beam, unusual paint job in orange and other earthy colors. Very nice room, had a desk, chair, plenty of storage, European style shower and a vanity area. Super comfortable bed with 6 pillows.

Prime location for a great hotel! Lots of food options around and next to the hotel. The hotel was clean and orderly. Parking was plenty in my opinion. The hotel staff were friendly and answered my questions. I wonderful positive is that I was able to check in early to my room. Normal check in was 3 and I was able to check in at noon! Parking was super simple through an app. My room was huge... mostly the hall lol. We had a lot of natural light that came in. The bathroom was spacious. The do have the mini fridge in the bathroom under the sink. I hate that. Eating quarters/items should be separate from the bathroom, in my opinion. Overall though, very decent hotel! And great proximity to the Miami airport, highways and Miami port.

Aloft Miami Airport was a excellent find. I was searching for a hotel close to airport with weekly parking and a free shuttle included. The shuttle service was convenient. Well not only did the have all the above, but its a very nice hotel with great customer service, food, bar, pool, pool table, games to borrow, computers for use and the rooms are large and airy!!! There concept is comfy and easy for the visitor. They have exceeded all expectations!!! Free coffee in the AM, no free breakfast so I gave then a 4* rating. I loved every bit of it, and yes I would use them again. No need to go on and on about excellence! Aloft had it all!

Aloft is an industrial looking and decorated hotel, near the airport. This hotel has a pool, gym, bar and a pay by the item breakfast bar. The rooms are large and very quiet. Each room has tall elevated ceilings. Everything seems to be separated by concrete, which makes this place very quiet. It has a shared parking lot with food options. We've stayed here before and probably will again because it is so quiet once inside!

My single-night stay at the Aloft Miami Airport was the start to my recent Miami/Tampa-vacation... I'm not sure the experience impacted me enough either way to in regards to choosing an Aloft location again in the future (or stay away from it), but it was a comfortable enough hotel for a single night. I was perhaps a bit put off early on during my stay. After check-in, which was somewhat slow, I wandered over to the airport and was joined in waiting for the elevator by a guy who clearly had had way too much to drink. His girlfriend wandered over slowly as well. Once the elevator opened though, it closed on her even though I had pressed the button to keep the elevator open. She had been enjoying a bit too much to drink as well. A bit of a mess, for sure. The staff person who helped with my check-in had mentioned they upgraded my room, but upon entering the room I wasn't exactly sure what that upgrade included. I still had the pool view (as opposed to just a view of the highway) that I had requested. Maybe the room was longer? I have no idea. My room cost was $94.91 for the single overnight stay, which I had prepaid (for what it's worth, they do also require the typical $50 deposit on your credit card upon arrival). As far as airport hotels go, it was certainly clean enough and comfortable... and they try for the modern, playful ambience. There's a Starbucks next door, and the hotel is in a decent enough location. It's not like you're seeing palm trees and other typical Miami-esque views... it's an airport hotel, after all... not a luxury location. TL;DR Nice enough experience, though it won't make me gravitate towards Aloft hotels in the future or anything. Not sure what was really my "upgrade" during the stay, as the room looked as I expected it to based on what I prepaid for. Comfortable enough - and clean - hotel considering the typical "airport hotel" experience.

No electricity no back up generator no timeline aa to when the power will be restored. This is unacceptable.
    Carmi A.

Pulled up to the hotel this evening expecting to go to my room and get some much needed rest. But the electricity was out with no timeline as to when the power would be back on.

The hotel is very cute and fun. It is clean and has bright pops of color everywhere. It decorations give it a youthful industry vibe. They offer breakfast starting at 7am and snacks to buy in the lobby. The only thing I would say is there isn't enough lighting on the outside of the building in the parking lot, it's almost easy to miss. The lighting in the rooms aren't the best either. Otherwise, the rooms are very spacious, I had a corner room. There is no microwave in the rooms, but it does offer a safe for your belongings, a small refrigerator, an ironing board, and coffee maker.

3 1/2 stars I made a reservation here based on their "dog friendly" policy. The only details included on Expedia was dogs had to weigh less than 40 lbs and limit of 2 per room. No extra fee. Sweet!! I checked in (which was a breeze) and filled out the pet form with breed info, etc and they point out that our pets can't be left unattended at any time (not even if they're kept in their crates). Not sweet!! =/ We love our fur babies but they're not allowed everywhere we wanted to go. Luckily we had planned our itinerary around taking them with us to most places, but there were a few places that we had to modify our itinerary based on the dog policy. The rooms were nice with a modern decor. Only issue was the shower door didn't keep water out but it dried up the next day so no biggie. Parking was free and there were a good amount of amenities. There is a Pollo Tropical, Starbucks, and Chipotle within walking distance. While it's close to the airport, the noise wasn't an issue. We were within a 1/2 drive to Miami beach and Homestead. If you have pets, I wouldn't recommend Aloft, unless you don't have a problem taking them everywhere. Eventhough hotel is nice, I don't see myself staying at another Aloft hotel based on their not so friendly dog policy.

Pet area clean and stocked waste bags available.

10 day stay with free Wi-Fi capable of meetings without interruption. ---Pros--- * The front staff, housekeeping, groundskeepers and maintenance made the stay wonderful with their. They were professional, friendly, accommodating, and concerned with our experience. Very patient with our requests and made sure to take care of them quickly. *100% Smoke-free hotel. * Clean sheets and sparkling bathrooms. No dust on the artwork, shelving, or windows! Hallways were always will vacuumed. One of the cleanest hotels I've stayed in! WTG Aloft housekeepers!  * No bugs witnessed and nothing bit me while sleeping. * Cute family of ducks and cats in the neighborhood. Drivers please be careful of the baby ducks! ---Cons--- * No breakfast due to COVID. * No laundry facility on site and no microwave in room. *Noisy construction. Doors automatically slam shut and echo in the hallways. Normal levels of conversation heard through the walls. * The vent in the bathroom/shower area is not mechanical. Keeps the room humid. * Inconsiderate neighbors with cigarette smells coming right through our door, loitering in the parking lot and leaving a mess. Marijuana smell in the elevator and in the parking lot.

Walking distance to a Publix, the mall, bakery, etc. The hotel checkin is on the 6th floor, the first floor is mainly a seating area and concierge. They offer free hot breakfast, mini fridge and microwave in the room, cruise shuttle at time of this review is priced at $12 with pick up times at 10a, 11a, and 12p. If you miss breakfast, they had breakfast bags with fruit and other grab and go items. You will need your room key to access the laundry room and guest floors. There is no carpet in the room I was in (basic king- not the elite level) and pets are not allowed. Service animals only. The hotel has a lobby bar, three restaurants are located right next door (Sproutz, Batch Gastropub, and Shahs of Kabob). I dined at Sproutz and Shahas of Kabob and both are good, but they are not affiliated with the hotel. I stayed 3 nights prior to my cruise and I really enjoyed my stay. The air conditioner worked with no issues, pillows are very soft, bed was firm, but not uncomfortable and I slept better in that bed, than my own. There is a master light switch to control the overhead light in the entry and bathroom. You can operate them separately (it just takes some flipping of lights to figure it out). Decent water pressure and nice, hot water at night. Morning time I suggest getting your shower in early. Hot water is still present but not as hot as it was the night before. Tip- I took my shower at 5/6am the morning of checkout and the water was hot and perfect for a nice shower before leaving for cruise. Staff was always smiling, friendly and willing to assist. Carlos at the concerige desk is very helpful, ask for his recommendations and he is more than happy to assist. The 7th floor has the laundry facility, but many machines were out of order. This is going on my pre cruise hotel list because it was the perfect hotel and the perfect location. It was about a 15min ride to the cruise port and airport. My gf and I stopped through here on our way out before boarding our flights later in the afternoon. If you're toting your luggage and not a hotel guest, you will have to find another hotel to store your luggage while enjoying this most decadent brunch experience. Luckily we arrived early enough to our reservations to sort that out. Reservations are a must if you don't want to wait. The restaurant is gorgeous with various spaces designed differently but keeps to the exotic Asian theme. Dining in the atrium near the water feature in the middle with stage for the musicians is where we had our experience. Olga was our server. She brought us our special beverages not available at the bar: Bloody Mary's and endless bubbly in our glasses The offerings here are more than I can name, but there is something to satisfy every craving. The favorite for me is the caviar bar. It comes with all the proper fixings on a blini with Crème fraîche. Do you need a vodka shot to go with? Yes, that's also available also at the caviar station. Fresh raw oysters, clams or shrimp cocktail is available in abundance with everything else here. The ceviche was great. I passed on all the various noodles but had to have some lamb curry and basmati rice- delicious! I had some Peking Duck and leg of lamb at the meat station. The filet mignon and lamb chops was ordered and brought to the table. The leg of lamb and filet were slightly dry but still good. The lamb chops with chimichurri sauce was amazing- nuances of vibrant flavors. Assorted fresh fruits were a colorful collection of enticements. I saw some papaya and enjoyed its fresh, sweet juiciness. I am not a dessert person but had to try the key like pie. Then of course, the matcha dessert is a sitting temptation next to the pie. So, my dessert spoils were more than intended. What the hell right? Lol That was the sweet ending to my Setai brunch. There was so much more such as bread, fried stuff, eggs, bagel station, toast etc. One can only eat so much. I stuck to enjoying my favorites. The experience is pricey but so worth it. It is truly the best brunch experience I've ever had. - better than Vegas and a cruise ship!! I always have to experience a Setai brunch whenever in Miami!

Also, the SPA requests you must arrive 30 minutes before your treatment time. I got my parking validated BUT we stayed for brunch who also validated our parking but we went over the 4 hours so we got no discount for parking and we were charged the full $35 fee plus tip for the valet. First, the good, it's an awesome location on the southern tip of Brickell Key. The pool was wonderful and gets mostly continuous sun exposure during the day. My balcony faced west so I had sun during the afternoon as well (perfect for a tan). Honestly, I never felt like I needed to leave the resort being a pool guy. The base price room was spacious and mostly clean with a separate shower and tub. The bad- the service wasn't great here. I felt like anytime I needed something I had to ask 3-4 times before staff would remember (including freebies that were part of the room rate). The one time I asked a concierge for assistance he was super brash telling me to go talk to the front desk. The property felt old and in need of a renovation (again it's being demolished so not surprising in that context). Also, a lot of the ads for the resort promote its beach which no longer exists- it's now a model home for the condos going in. The hotel is pricey and gratuity is auto-included at 20% for everything which would be fine if the service was better and they didn't ask for additional tip on top of it. I wish I stayed here 20+ years ago because it felt like in its hay day this was a swanky hotel. Today, it's tired, on its last months, and the staff really don't seem like 5-star talent (as a benefit to the doubt most people would be unmotivated if things were shutting down too). Part of me is excited to try the new hotel whenever it opens, part of me wonders if the poor service is just part of the brand. The gym was tacky- literally they just through equipment in 6ish guest rooms with the doors propped open. Kind of funny but not 5-star hotel caliber.

The Brickell area is a vibe, walkable and full of restaurants and shops, which makes it a perfect pre- or post-cruise stay. The hotel's proximity to the cruise port was a huge plus. Check-in is self-service, but assistance is available if needed, which made the process easy and convenient. The king bed does take up most of the room, stretching from the window to the wall, so the room feels a bit compact--but it's thoughtfully designed. The sink is located in the main room across from the bathroom, and I actually found the setup pretty functional. The shelves around the sink were stocked with a washcloth, hand towel, hair dryer, and tissues, plus hand soap and lotion at the end of the counter. There was also enough counter space for toiletries. There's an open closet area and a nice touch of wall art, and the laminated wood flooring gave the room a clean, modern feel. One of my favorite features was the in-room iPad that controls everything--such a fun tech-forward touch. I also absolutely loved the decor throughout the hotel. The colors are vibrant, playful, and stylish without feeling overdone. The second-floor seating areas were spacious and inviting, and the rooftop/pool space was another highlight. There's also a bar on the second floor with outdoor seating, which is a great spot to relax and people-watch. Overall, this hotel has a fun atmosphere, smart use of technology, and an unbeatable location. I'd definitely stay here again, especially for a quick stay before a cruise.

The location is fantastic,…read moreright in the heart of Brickell, close to restaurants, nightlife, and public transit, which makes it really convenient for exploring the area. That said, the room itself was extremely small. It had all the essentials, but there wasn't much space to move around or unpack, so it felt a bit cramped, especially for a longer stay. If you're planning just a short visit or don't mind compact accommodations, it works, but it's definitely something to keep in mind. The staff was friendly and helpful, which made the stay smoother despite the limited room size. Overall, I'd say M Citizen is a great choice for its location and vibe, but pack light and don't expect spacious quarters.

We arrived early around 11:00 AM and were immediately greeted with a glass of prosecco. Because I'm a Platinum member, I was able to get an early check-in and an upgrade. The staff took great care of us, bringing our bags up to the room while giving us a tour of the property. Our room was a stunning 1-bedroom suite with partial ocean views. The setup directly at the beach with refreshments was beautiful, as was the pool area, and we were told the pools were heated. Now, if you've read one of my reviews before, you know I'm going to order room service, and it did not disappoint. Just a heads up, valet was $60 a night. I will absolutely be back, and a huge thank you to the staff for such a great experience!

Not sure what construction as it looks mostly the same. Additionally had to wait 45 minutes for a room service menu as QR was not working and our bathroom faucet fell off the wall. And it's the high season, January. Beware stay clear. Not worth 1500/night for a suite. Construction still going on, many workers not present in hotel but all over the site. Very disappointed.
