They offer fruit smoothies that are much bigger than those across the street - $8 for 20 oz of fresh fruit smoothies instead of $9 for like 10 ounces across the street. They also offer other desserts like boba teas and halo halo, which we found to be very delicious and very reasonably priced. This would be great place to stop by before or after your hike at Waimea for baked goods, trail mix/chips, sandwiches and/or teas and dessert. I would highly consider ordering sandwiches and snacks to-go and then having them on my hike. I also ordered a malasadas and bought some trail mix for the road - all packaged by 4tea. I think the price points are great and the owners are very kind. However, I noticed the downside of this store is the small signage, which I couldn't even see eating at Island Taco. But what we did was park near Island Taco (since they do not have their own lot but instead they share the lot with a private homeowner). So I would park on the street or nearby and walk over. Alongside the trail mix, they also have fruit candies, chips, bakery items, and sandwiches of all kinds - all very reasonably priced. It's hard because this place does not have seating, but you can easily grab this food to go and enjoy it at a beach nearby like Salt Pond Park. I hope this business does well and that they get more foot traffic, which is why I'm writing this thorough review, noticing that they aren't on Yelp yet - Hope this local business does well!

LOL Hey if you love to cook and staying in a condo, this is a must visit. They sell the jumbos in a 2 pound box frozen. They are U-15 head and shell on, U-16-20 head off. I tempura fried the heads and they were better than any sushi bar. The sweetest shrimp (Ama ebi) I have ever eaten. I also skewered them straight down the body and out the head and BBQed them for a minute or 2 a side and they were fabulous. Their posted hours are Mon - Fri 8AM-3:30PM but call them (808-335-0336) before going to confirm availability. As far as directions, they will tell you "drive through town then across the white bridge and you will see us on the left". Well the the bridge is more yellow than white and they DO have an address 3630 Hanapepe Rd in case you want to use Google Earth. LOL It's not a store, it's a walk up window. It is actually easy to find because it's basically the only business still in business after you cross the bridge. Kind of reminded me of Zombieland. ha ha

As for the mango sticky rice, it was an overall yummy dessert but I did enjoy the coconut sticky rice more than the actual mangoes. Some mangoes were riper and tasted more sweeter than others. It was also a small portion. They have food items and tons of smoothies on the menu that I'd be open to trying if I ever return to Kauai. Service was welcoming and fast and I liked how she informed us of certain menu items that were not available before ordering. There are a few picnic tables to sit at, but this is more of a grab and go spot.
