Favorite shaved ice that I had while here. Lot of different flavors, ice creams, and toppings to customize. Getting it with the mochi is great too

I think this red crested cardinal wanted to take a bite. So cute!

We had some time before we went to a luau. Our tour drops us off in the town and we walked to JoJo's shave ice. I am not one for snow cones, or any kind of shaved ice however, when I heard it is the best and I need to try it, that is exactly what I did. I got the rainbow shaved ice, and it was spectacular! The flavor was phenomenal! This made for a really tasty and refreshing treat. Such a cool place and I hope you stop here and enjoy it as much as we did.

Fish, shave ice place is known on the island and has other locations and it never disappoints Service is super fast as I was ordering and before I could tap my shaved ice was ready Not much parking here you have to find street parking and be careful in this little town

Cute shop to stop by before or after seeing Waimea canyon. I got a small tropical breeze, and it was great. The syrups penetrated all the way thru the ice and delicious to the last bite. Lots of seating outside too!

    Rainbow small size.

Best shaved ice I've had during my week stay in Kauai and Waikiki. They have benches with shade to let you enjoy their tasty shave ice! Service was fast and brisk and is a counter service like all of the other shave ice. But man what makes them different is the ice cream base and the delicious condensed milk and coloring flavors tasted so much better than any other ones I've tried. It really hit the spot after touring Waimea Canyon. Must stop after a day at Waimei Canyon!

This was a really cool shaved Hawaiian ice place. They have a unique way of making it with ice cream on the bottom of it adding to the flavors. Not your typical ice but definitely worth a try when here! Cool little shop and service was fast and easy!

The last time I was at a jojo's was when I was 12 years old on a volleyball trip in middle school. Prices have skyrocketed and vibes have changed, but the shave ice here was still delicious after a long day of hiking up in koke'e. My hubby and I shared a large, which was the perfect treat. The menu lists about 10 different flavor/topping combinations, all very reminiscent of island influence. There are a couple other locations on island as well, so jojos is accessible no matter where on Kauai you are.

Oh dang! Their flavor combinations are the most refreshing I've ever had on this island. My favorite are the ones with macadamia nut ice cream. And lets talk about their syrups... they have more flavor in them than other shaved ice competitors! I would stick to the tropical fruit flavors, as they seem more refreshing on a hot humid day. We had the banana split and wished we didn't. That is one that we won't revisit ever again. Nice customer service. Service seemed fast to us, so, not sure why other Yelpers are complaining... but we def lucked out with speediness.

I came here a few years ago when I visited Waimea. Today, after a long hike, I decided to make a pit stop for a well-deserved treat. I got the mango, Lilikoi, guava shave ice with li hing mui drizzle, which was amazing! I've had the powder, but never the drizzle. It was the perfect sour topping for a very sweet treat. I'm removing a star solely because the sign out front said they had 1/4 lb all beef hotdogs, but my boyfriend got a dog and it was tiny and sad. We still ate it, but it was definitely the size of those little Oscar Meyer dogs from the refrigerator section at the grocery store.

The best tasting shaved ice I've had in Kauai. Very friendly service. The flavors permeated the ice and so yummy til the last bite.you can tell it's homemade. Nice Hawaiian vibe while you wait for your order.

We saw this place on out drive to the canyon. So happy we stopped on the way back. The shaved ice was amazing. We have had many different shaved ice places but this one was good. The macadamia ice at the bottom alone gets 5 stars. Nice chunks of nuts. I could have just ate that alone. We got the large size and it feed 3 of us. The taste was amazing and they have so many different flavors to chose from. A MUST STOP!!! Don't pass it ip

Oh my gosh! This place is heavenly!!!! I can eat a cup of A'Lotta Coloda every day and some times twice a day!!! The vanilla ice cream at the bottom of those 3 syrups and a coating of the Haupia Cream is AMAZING!!!!! If you haven't had it, stop what you're doing, go get one now! Any of the 5 locations on Kauai will be delicious and they are all staffed with friendly young ladies! I cannot wait to return to the island for this

Oh my GOD...TIKI DAVE is so very glad that this place has stood the test of time after all these…read moreyears. My wife and I discovered this place way back before we had kids in, I don't know, what, the mid-2000s... And it is EXACTLY like I remember. We hit Waimea Canyon and then had just enough time to hit SHRIMP STATION after which I demanded we hit on our way back to our cruise ship. I think I ordered the "Sweet Chile Garlic Shrimp" last time but I decided to try the half and half of that as well as the "Got Garlic". Let me tell you, the winner is absolutely the "Sweet Chile Garlic Shrimp"! Both are awesome and don't be afraid of the chile because it really isn't spicy. The shrimp is cooked absolutely perfectly. A great crunch...al dente, if you will. Sop up the delicious sauce in the rice and OMG...I am still craving this a month later. Dishes range in price from $16.95 to $19.95 (probably $10 back when in the day in the early 2000s) but still totally worth it. SON OF TIKI DAVE ordered the Coconut Shrimp and it was amazing, too. I tried it. TIKI DAVE of TIKI DAVE'S TERRIFIC TRIPS / TIKI DAVE TRAVEL loves SHRIMP STATION! I will be making a video of my experience so... Wow. What a gem of a place we spontaneously stumbled into. We must have arrived at a great (and…read morelucky) time because there was only one person ahead of us, and we got our food relatively fast. We ordered the beer battered shrimp, garlic shrimp, and cajun shrimp, and all three exceeded expectations. For the price, I was genuinely shocked by the quantity given. I came in expecting to order more, but it was very plentiful and well-priced. My only feedback is that I wished the cajun shrimp had a bit more of a kick. The extra heat was there, but I found myself wanting just a little more. Medium spice would have probably been my sweet spot. No notes on the garlic shrimp though, as it delivered exactly as described. That garlic and olive oil combination? Yum. The beer battered shrimp, however, was surprisingly good. I didn't expect to like it as much as I did. It was simple, yet perfect. Think Long John Silver's fried shrimp, but better, done right, and insanely good. Here's a fun fact: we actually only ordered two plates the first time, loved it so much that we went back and ordered another. Yes, it was that good. As I'm typing this review back at home, I'm already salivating thinking about going back for another bite. Overall, this place was phenomenal and we'd return in a heartbeat. I'm aware it tends to get busy, and we definitely got lucky with our timing. Note: the food is great, but I personally wouldn't wait in a long line for it. That said, if there are only one or two people ahead of you, absolutely swing by. And beyond the food, the staff, from the cashier to everyone in the back, were a total delight and made the whole experience feel warm and homey.
