I was craving something sweet, so I decided to give this place a try. I was pleasantly surprised to find so many options to choose from. I tried a variety of pastries, but the coconut turnover was my favorite. I will definitely be back!

Very tasty Malasadas and Manju. Service was friendly. Lots of parking out front. A little warm inside. Check them out they were really good.

    Delicious Enseamadas

Came early to this place to get decadent baked goods. We ordered Ensamadas, sweet bread with sugar sprinkled. Walked out with 2 dozen goodies to bring back to house. Excellent customer service offering tips on what to get. Super casual with smiling faces to greet you.

I had never heard of malasadas before visiting Kauai. This place is the real deal. I tried a few other spots on the island and this was the best, hands down. I had two cream filled malasadas and thought I'd gone to heaven. Freshly made along with numerous other options. We were all happy. I wish I could get these in Atlanta. Service was efficient. Prices very reasonable. A few tables outside to sit.

Very unassuming and may not look like much from the outside...looks like a giant red abandoned building, however the far side of the building you will discover Aloha Sweet Delites. This is hands down the best pastry shop we found in Kauai. We picked up Malasada and manju. Malasada was light and airy and perfectly sweetened. We picked up the bean and ube manju as well. The manju are a dense pasty with a creamy sweet filling. Highly recommend for something unique. There's also a small market inside giving a bit of quickie mart stop vibes. It's not necessarily aesthetic inside but for what it gives up in vibes, it makes up for in awesome treats to go which is exactly what we wanted!!

Awesome little sweet shop on our way to the Waimea Canyon! One needs all those sugar to hike :p My faves is the black bean masaladas and I don't usually like beans bun sorta thing! the regular and the custard ones are great too!

Get one of the filled malasadas, they are really good and MAYBE better if perhaps less authentic than the unfilled, but who are you trying to impress if not your stomach????

Malasadas (no filling), Coconut Pies, and Apple Pies

Malasadas are a must-eat if you're on the island, and Aloha does them well. If you want to get the filled versions, be sure to come in early as they usually sell out by noon. Though, don't be disappointed if only the unfilled ones are available because those are always winners. Their pies are okay, but any okay pie is still delicious. Any sweet tooth will definitely be satisfied here.

Walked in searching for a drink as JP's pizza (next door to the left) didn't have anything to drink. Aloha Sweet Delights is a low key bakery with some groceries and a very wide variety of pastries that look absolutely amazing and great service!

Aloha Sweet Delights was one of my stops for breakfast while visiting Kauai, and I was pleasantly pleased with this bakery. Located in Kaumakani and really easy to spot to find either going to or from Waimea. They have awesome malasadas or stuffed donuts but I really enjoyed the apple fritter. I really wanted to try the coconut turnover but they were sold out. Lots of options and great service, support local and try this local bakery.

Ask the Community - Aloha Sweet Delites

Does anyone know if they sell bulk coffee similar to the Starbucks takeout that has about 24 cups in a disposable container?

Thanks for inquiring, sorry but we do not. Clyde @ aloha Sweet Delites

My Filipino in me was so happy especially when I saw that halo-halo. This store got lotsa snacks for the road. They got deli that includes cold wrap & sandwiches, lemonade, boba drinks and smoothies and some Filipino groceries that reminds me of home. I got muncher (a Filipino green peas snack) and a can of Filipino corned beef. I also got banana turon paired with fresh buko. It heart was so happy. The Filipino couple who owned the store was so friendly and are the happiest to talk to. Ate & Kuya I'll be back! Mahalo for reading & happy juandering fellow yeeps!

We stumbled across a really cute variety store after going to the Coconut Corner across the street…read more The shop is owned by a really cute mom and pop and they have many great options for folks that I think are superior to the options at Coconut Corner. They offer fruit smoothies that are much bigger than those across the street - $8 for 20 oz of fresh fruit smoothies instead of $9 for like 10 ounces across the street. They also offer other desserts like boba teas and halo halo, which we found to be very delicious and very reasonably priced. This would be great place to stop by before or after your hike at Waimea for baked goods, trail mix/chips, sandwiches and/or teas and dessert. I would highly consider ordering sandwiches and snacks to-go and then having them on my hike. I also ordered a malasadas and bought some trail mix for the road - all packaged by 4tea. I think the price points are great and the owners are very kind. However, I noticed the downside of this store is the small signage, which I couldn't even see eating at Island Taco. But what we did was park near Island Taco (since they do not have their own lot but instead they share the lot with a private homeowner). So I would park on the street or nearby and walk over. Alongside the trail mix, they also have fruit candies, chips, bakery items, and sandwiches of all kinds - all very reasonably priced. It's hard because this place does not have seating, but you can easily grab this food to go and enjoy it at a beach nearby like Salt Pond Park. I hope this business does well and that they get more foot traffic, which is why I'm writing this thorough review, noticing that they aren't on Yelp yet - Hope this local business does well!

It's such a cute little mom-and-pop spot, super welcoming and simple in the best way. The second you walk in, it just feels warm and genuine. The roasted pork rice dish was honestly the best I've ever had in my life. The pork was perfectly cooked, so flavorful along with the cravy, and everything tasted incredibly fresh and homemade. Best mac salad as well. They have other rice dishes too, can't wait to come back to try these. You can really tell how much care goes into the food here. And the malasadas... easily some of the freshest we had in Kauai. Soft, warm, and just perfect -- the kind you wish you had ordered more of right away. They have both simple malasadas and filled ones (get the coconut one!!!) The whole experience honestly felt like you were eating at your auntie's house. So comforting, so friendly, and just really special. If you're anywhere near Hanapepe, this place is 100% worth stopping for. I'm already thinking about that roasted pork and can't wait to come back next time I'm in Kauai.

Yay finally found this kitchen manned by a group of three…read more It's totally walking into your gramma's kitchen (but larger). Vanilla sauce being made on the burner. Someone washing dishes. Another cooking our malasada order. Our church has ordered their malasadas which I enjoyed and wanted. They generously donated some as well. I ordered 6 with vanilla filling and no sugar (so I could warm up without burning). And 2 with sugar to eat immediately. They gave us extras ... Plain with sugar (it was doughy on the inside could've used extra time in the fryer) I gave this to my daughter who air fried it and said it was ono! Honestly, it's not your Leonard's but it's pretty decent on the heavier side which I like. The person that helped was very sweet... Will go back to try their other food and maybe a couple more malasadas!!
