First visit review: No smiles from the gentlemen at the beginning of the car wash. It would have been helpful for both vacuums to have the standard suction part. One has the vacuum standard part, and the other had the kind slender part. The air pressure sprayers are always a plus. This location doesn't have them. The suction from the vacuums were very good. Never will I go back. The vacuums had no pressure. Not just 1 but the entire row. Other side was not open. Visited Aloha for the first time. Very disappointing. No one spoke or acknowledged me. As I pulled up to begin my entry through the car wash, there were 2 young men standing there talking. I pulled forward and the one guy just motioned for me to continue but he continued his rather loud conversation and never stopped to say hello, smile, wave or at least end his personal conversation. Secondly, I was unsure if the facility had towels, I asked another customer and she directed me to the towela. I went to get towels twice and made eye contact with a different young hoping he would at least greet me but he turned his head and looked in the opposite direction. Horrible experience. read more

As I write this review, my car, clean, shiny and happy, sits parked in my garage. Who to thank? Aloha Car Wash! I've been consistently happy with the prices and results after riding through with family, friends, and even my own vehicle. To give the package a nice bow on the top, I had a great customer service experience tonight. Upon getting home from work I noticed a bird decided to deliver a nice little "hello" SMACK on the side of my car and let it bake in the sun all day. Great. Yeah. Thanks. (What are these birds good for, anyway?) Rushing to beat the 7:00 closing time, I hopped back in and sped to Aloha -- it being the closest wash to my house. I pulled in, grabbed the $7 (including tire shine. woot!) wash and approached the entrance to the wash where two gentleman were standing. I offered my receipt accompanied with a few bucks and explained my situation, asking they pay special attention to the bird-induced blob on my car. "You don't need to tip!" he said with a smile. I got The Works wash for 12 little dollars and was so pleased! There were 5 cars in front of me, but it moved quickly and before I knew it I was being shot out the end and using the free vacuums to spruce up the inside. I was truly amazed by how shiny my car was when I got out to inspect it. They gave me a punch card that will be good for a free wash after only 6 more trips and since this place is right by my office I'll be getting that free wash in no time! Note - I selected one of the most expensive washes because I was trying to pamper my car a little, but I believe the basic was like $5. read more

From the exceptional, friendly service to the fantastic shine that covered my 2013 Ford Fusion when I left, my experience at Aloha Car Wash will be one that I will never forget. The service worker at the front (I believe his name was Jacob) greeted me with a large smile and explained to me the separate washes when I asked. Love Aloha. Drive out of my way to go to Aloha. Never had an issue until today. Paid, passed through the security arm, then realized I had forgotten to turn off my windshield wiper sensors and my driver assist that will stop the car if the car senses it's about to hit something. The bearded guy was waiving me to come on. Not one car was behind me or in the line to pay, so I wasn't holding any other cars up. I rolled down my window to tell him I was trying to turn off my sensors, and he says, "I don't have all day to wait for you." Well, you won't have to wait for me ever again impatient, bearded man. I'm a regular at Aloha, but this week I took my truck there after a bug filled trip to Jekyll Island. Three guys scrubbed the truck with soap and brushes everywhere to remove the bugs before the wash. The truck looks fantastic. Great job guys. They never let me down. read more

I'm a new Aloha customer and had a good experience my first visit. On my second visit, the car wash ripped the factory shark antenna (antenna that looks like a shark's dorsal fin) right off the back of my car. Because I heard a loud crack while sitting in my vehicle as it was being pulled through the wash tunnel, I immediately inspected the vehicle for damage upon exiting the tunnel. When I discovered the damaged antenna, I immediately reported it to the car wash staff. The car wash staff was very professional and retrieved the broken antenna from the tunnel. They took pictures of the damage and asked me to fill out an incident report. The staff person who filled out the incident report assured me the manager would call me. A few days later I had not yet received a call from anyone at Aloha, so I called them. I spoke to the manager, a guy named Danny Dorman, and he apologized for not calling me back. During that initial conversation, Danny told me "the owner has a policy not to reimburse customers for vehicle damage caused by their car wash." Danny also told me that Aloha's car wash "frequently has issues with damaging shark antennas." I asked Danny to let me speak to the owner. Danny told me the owner wasn't there. I then asked for the owner's name and phone number so I could call him/her. Danny told me "the owner doesn't to speak to customers." Danny wouldn't even provide me the owner's name; who I later found out to be a guy named Barry Eng. I told Danny that I too had a car wash policy. I told him my policy was that if I take my vehicle to a car wash, and the car wash damages my vehicle, the owner needs to reimburse me for any damage to my vehicle. I told Danny that my policy further requires me to sue any car wash owner who refuses to reimburse for damages inflicted upon my vehicle by their car wash. I also told Danny that if corrective action wasn't taken within a week, that I would be left with no choice but to implement the entirety of my policy. A few days later, I received a phone call from Danny telling me the owner would "reimburse me for only half of the damage." Again, Danny refused to provide the owner's name or phone number. Danny told me "the owner said that because the car was not brand new, the owner would not pay the full amount to repair the vehicle." I found this completely ridiculous. This raises a couple of questions: (1) If Barry Eng has a policy not to reimburse paying customers for damage inflicted on their vehicles by his car wash, then why does Barry ask his staff to have customers fill out incident reports? Thankfully I asked for a copy of my incident report and kept in case we end up in court. (2) Why won't Barry Eng stand behind his product and correct the issue that frequently causes (according to Danny) shark antennas to be torn off customer vehicles? (3) Why won't Barry Eng share insurance information with customers so they can file an insurance claim to have their vehicle repaired? Isn't that why Barry has insurance in the first place? (4) Why would anyone want to bring their vehicle to Barry Eng's car wash if it has the potential to damage their vehicle; especially when Barry refuses to provide his insurance information, and when Barry leaves customers with no other choice but to sue him just to recoup the cost of the vehicle's repair? (5) Why does Barry Eng refuse to take full responsibility for the damage, and thinks he should only have to pay half? I didn't damage the shark antenna; his car wash did. I was in the vehicle when the antenna was ripped off my vehicle. Why should I have to pay anything at all? I then called Aloha to tell them I was publishing this review. Shortly thereafter Barry decided to pay for the damage, however he would not pay me directly. They would only compensate the dealership directly. It was as if Barry didn't trust me when there was clear evidence from his own employees' pictures of the damage. To end the matter, I agreed to Barry's terms. I was very surprised Barry left me with no choice but to threaten him with lawsuits and negative reviews before agreeing to resolve the matter. Customers beware! This took a lot of time, energy, persistence, and effort for something Barry should've taken care of in the first place. Barry's response should've been "I'm so sorry this happened. I want to make it right. Let me pay for the damage." Instead Barry's response was to hide behind his employee and tell his employee to tell customers the owner won't talk to you, won't let me let you know who he is, and won't do anything to make it right. Then when Barry's left with little choice but to make it right, his employee insults you by telling they won't pay you directly like you can't be trusted. This is totally unacceptable behavior for any business. I challenge Barry and Aloha to contradict any facts raised in this review. Barry Eng prefers to hide behind employees when problems arise, and refuses to take responsibility unless forced to do so. read more

Last time going there. I just left and their floor-mat cleaner chewed up my BMW mat. Upon notifying the bearded fellow in the office, who seemed less than concerned, he eventually disassembled the machine and forced my mat out and handed it back to me, ripped and practically shredded. He expressed not one word of concern or contrition. NOT ONE. I stood by as he tinkered with the machine awaiting him to acknowledge me in some way but he never did. After returning to my car with my shredded mat, I returned to the machine as he continued tinkering with it and I again stood next to him. And again he said nothing, never acknowledging me. I left in disbelief with my shredded mat, NEVER WILL I GO BACK. read more

I have given this place 3 chances, no more. I recently moved into the area from about 6 miles down the road, in Johns Creek. This self serve/automated car wash was a bit closer than the one I had been using for the past year and a half, and on my way home from work, so I figured I would try it out. Well, the service is sub par. I get that I am only paying $6 for a car wash, but for the guys at the entrance to just sling water with the brushes on my windshield and spray the pre-wash all over the side of the truck, I would rather them not do it at all. They didn't even scrub the windshield, or back window of my truck. Then as I pass through the carwash, most of the water sprayers are clogged or spraying in the wrong direction, so my truck leaves covered in soap. For other dissatisfied customers, use Wash Factory Express on State Bridge Rd. These guys do an excellent job, scrub the front of the car, windshield, back window, and back of car on EVERY car, and their machines do a much better job. Plus, its only $5, so worth the extra 7 minute drive to me for the better quality wash. read more

I CAN BREATHE YA'LL! It has been a busy month! Between hauling landscaping supplies and pollen, my van was a mess. I needed to find something quick and easy because I was short on time and just tired of starring at my pollen dusted dashboard. My son mentioned Aloha and stated that he really liked the owner Tony. He described Tony as a really nice guy who comes into his place of employment on a regular basis. My son mentioned that this car wash also details cars and sine my son is an excellent judge of character, I thought that I should give Tony and Aloha a try. I vaguely remembered this car wash because it does not sit on a main road and you have to be looking for it to really notice it. It is near the intersection of Laurel Springs and Peachtree Parkway. Today, I decided to give Aloha a chance. I dropped the van off around 11am and was told that it would be ready in the afternoon. I received a message shortly after 2 pm and picked up the van a short time later. They did a really nice job of cleaning the vehicle and I think that they definitely need to advertise their detailing services. We were very pleased. They did mention that they had a difficult time cleaning the carpets which is understandable and completely expected. We had already purchased replacements but decided that they just weren't an acceptable quality. The "factory quality" mats have been very difficult to find. Since our original carpets actually turned out better than expected, we decided to keep them. YES! I loved that the service was quick and efficient and did not inconvenience me at all. ****If you have seasonal allergies, cleaning your vehicle thoroughly is really important because the pollen gets in and creates a little "death trap". I was actually sitting in my "protected environment" with the windows rolled up when I noticed the thin layer of pollen across the dash. It was a call to action!! ****My son was right. Tony is a very nice man and it was a pleasure to meet him today. ****They really need to reconfigure their driveway because they have two exits and the only entrance is a direct entrance into the drive-thru wash. If you just want to drive in to park and consult and get a detail, you have to drive into the one way exit parking area which can be a bit scary. Just be careful! read more

Customer service is not dead yet. I showed up not to long after they closed on a Sunday. a nice young man told me it was ok and he would accommodate me. I asked if he was sure. The young man did not hesitate and said absolutely it was not a problem. It seems these days most owners and employees are not willing to take that extra step to help customers. Ok jokes on me I paid $18 for an exterior car wash that I've been found out I have to vacuum my own car and clean my own car out. Did have an option for $6 for an exterior wash but all the other full service car washes do exterior wash cheaper and they drive the car off for you. I give it a negative star but there's no such rating. read more

Very content with the new menu, especially the new Manager's Special. My car seems more clean than the day I bought it off of the lot. I was a little timid to buy a $20 dollar car wash but was very pleased with the result. I've become a regular at Aloha over time, normally buying a basic wash, however the new quirky sign caught my attention and I decided to go for it. The reason I always go to Aloha is for the quick service along with the customer service. Every employee seems to be happy to see you and answers any questions I have. Beware! This business puts signage out that is misleading and they do not care to correct it when it is brought to their attention. Do not purchase the "Managers Special" for $20 and then think you are getting all the services listed as "Manager Special". I learned that there are two different signs. Not worth $10, much less $20. Of course if I had read the reviews before I was sucked in by their fancy and very misleading signage, I would not have been fooled into going to this car wash. Awesome wash! got the $10 wash and the $5 add on their new lava sealant and WOW what a light show. my son and i wasnt expecting crazy looking green rain on my car. Now he keeps bugging me to go through everytime we pass by it. not only is this wash entertaining with music bumping outside while i vacuum, its a great value. I got extra rim cleaner and tire shine, and they added rain-x to their $10 wash. and they dont skimp on those chemicals. been to other washes where ive bought their washes and felt like it was just water. When i went through their lava shield wash, all i could see was thick pink foam coating the car. they always had free glass cleaners and air fresheners for everyone to use too. highly recommend that lava add on for those in Johns Creek looking for a self-serve wash for their car. read more
