I was always a fan of Uncle Clay's House of Pure Aloha. Super sad when they closed some years back! Let me just say Island Shave Ice & Creamery is my new favorite! Sunset is the perfect blend of Strawberry, Pineapple, Banana - love the flavors, plus we upgraded to add Dole whip ice cream. Their mochi is the real kine mochi balls, super soft, and offsets the sweetness right when you need it! Grateful for the generous number of mochi balls. I peeped the ice cream and it looked creamy soft. Might have to order a pint to go next time since I'm pretty much a sucker for their shave ice now. I might try other flavors but already sold on the Sunset. The service is great, they even made sure to acknowledge us since they were still finishing up another order when we walked in.
