This is only for the SUP rental. Location is prime if you're staying in Waikiki. Lots to do here…read more Prices are high as expected. Service is OK - just enough to get the job done. They won't take the SUP to the shore or bring it back if you're a off coming back. I love SUP but I'm little and I have a shoulder/neck/back injury so it is difficult for me to carry and I always have to ask someone to do it. I wish it wasn't such a chore for them especially since we tend to tip well (at least 20% even if its bad like this). No matter what time of year it is usually pretty crowded and hard to navigate around ppl. But if you can get out there, it is super fun and the waves are usually gentle. While staying at Moana or Royal Hawaiian we saw a monk seal in the waves swimming through the surfers. Other than that not too much sea life sadly.

We got to relax for awhile under a Beach umbrella and then it was time to help push the canoe into the water and hop on in and start paddling! We had three crew members with us - it was a BLAST!! The fun and views of surfing, without having to get in the water (though we did get a little wet) and no worries about balance. The outrigger canoe has the "ama" (the stabilizing float part) which made it smooth and easy...except for the paddling. Very safe (and that's coming from a former Risk Manager). I have no upper arm strength and we had to paddle hard at times and had we done it any longer than our 30-40min, I would definitely have had a blister. It was a beautiful morning (so thankful there was no rain), ocean was calm, and riding in the three waves was exceptional and something I am so glad they captured on video for us so we can truly remember the feeling always!! This is a MUST DO next time you are in Hawaii!

We started off with the instructor teaching us the basics and eventually we were able to stand and paddle on our own. What made the experience so great was that the instructor (think his name is Caleb) was super patient and really great at helping use learn. We started off in the ocean but eventually made our way to a small river where got to spot some turtles and the water there was really smooth and nice too. If you're looking for a place to learn how to stand up paddle board, this is the right place for that!

They know you want to get in the water ASAP so they don't mess around. This made me feel like every minute of our session was very impactful. As you would expect; you do a quick land lesson to discuss how the whole thing works and then you head out. The owner, Jodi, did the quick land lesson and got the basics down which was surprisingly simple and straightforward. Our paddle board instructor, Mike, lead us out on the water and eased us into the lesson. He didn't force us to go from sitting to kneeling to standing until we felt ready. He told us that he used to own/run a martial arts school for a very long time so I think his teaching instincts are on point. My boyfriend had a hard time standing up and Mike stayed back to coach him. I did pretty good but Mike still helped me with good tips and let me go out further on my own. I really enjoyed having some independence but still felt secure with Mike there. Random thoughts: The scenery was peaceful and serene; perfect for any anxious learners like us. Having the van near the showers was a nice touch; I can tell that Jodi must come extra early to score this great spot. Jodi's recommendation on what to time to do the lesson was spot on. Earlier is best. We also saw two turtles! That was cool!!!!!!! A fun learning experience at a phenomenal value. Customer service was perfect. Our lesson inspired me to plan for another SUP session soon. And hopefully something I'll do on a regular basis! We'll be back to rent paddle boards until we're ready to invest in our own. Had a great adventure with Salty Kayaks Oahu. We were running a bit late due to traffic on H1, we…read morecalled in and he said it would be no issue and met us at Kualoa regional park. Super nice and gave us directions for how to get out to Mokoli'i. We left at about 8:20 and were the first to arrive at the island at around 8:50 . We hiked about half way up, to the point with the rope. Bring hiking shoes if you want to go up! It's steep. We made our way back down, there was 3 groups paddling in by that time, + we saw a group spear fishing in front of the island! We headed back and we're able to turn our kayak in super quickly. Overall an amazing experience and I would highly recommend them + maybe an early start so you can have the island all to yourself for a while!
