Cocktail wasn't that strong and got similar feedback from others at our Table. Appetizer was okay. Seafood Boil was really good though, no complaints there. Place was quite dark upon entering. Felt like I was going back in time to Wilwood seafood restaurants from the 80's a bit. Had a bar in the middle and seating around with a dance floor in the back in the middle. We sat at the bar since the World Cup was on Norway vs Brazil. Bar tender was of Spanish decent, super nice. Locals enjoying the game and seafood boils: I ordered clam chowder and coconut shrimp - wasn't super hungry. Chowder wasn't very warm but tasted good. Shrimp portion was big for an appie and was cooked well, not overly greasy, sauce wasn't great tho. My buddy ordered a lobster boil old bay sauce. The tails were small for the cost I thought but he said they tasted good atleast. He did eat everything, a few potatoes & 2 small pieces of corn. Been here multiple times. Each time, I enjoyed my stay here. The decor is interesting. But, There is a lot of space and they can accommodate large groups. My friend's cover band (Dizzy Cats) play here twice a month. It's such a cool vibe whenever they play. Their bartender is really good. She gets the drinks out promptly and they flavors are on point. The waiting staff, however, can be a bit challenging to get their attention. But, but once you get them, they are very attentive. The food is very good and affordable. I haven't had a bad dish, yet. This last time, I had the grilled salmon with sweet potato fries. My wife had the seafood pasta, while my buddy had the baked flounder. They were very tasty. Went here for an early dinner on Sunday. Location is very accessible from GSP and has lots of parking. We were seated right away. Spacious seating area with a bar in the middle of the restaurant. Lots of food choices. We ordered the weekly special which is a pound of shrimps (head off) and a snow crab cluster in a juicy cajun sauce. We also got the crabmeat fried rice. The seafood was really cooked goid and the fried rice tastes really great. And the total amount is less than $50 which is already great deal fir a seafood dinner. Stopped here for a bite to eat. Have been here before with a group on a Friday night. Then they had a DJ and they were pretty full. This day however, was light. It's a really bright, engaging atmosphere. They do have open mic nights and performances, so if you go on those nights be prepared to have to yell at the person across from you. (I liked the music, but others may not.) We ordered the virgin piña coladas and I loved them! I also enjoyed the hush puppies. My boyfriend got the breaded thai chili wings; he said they were okay but were very obviously from the freezer. My food, however, had a pool of oil at the bottom of it. I had the jumbo shrimp spaghetti pasta with garlic butter sauce. The garlic butter was not a sauce; it was oil, margarine, breadcrumbs and chunks of garlic with some spices. The sauce didn't stay on the noodles or the shrimp, and everything tasted the same (due to the oily mixture being heavily dumped all over). My boyfriend got stirred fried beef spaghetti with black pepper sauce and there was little to no oil on his plate. I get that it's a different type of sauce, but my plate could have clogged an artery. Overall, a decent spot to eat. I have been wanting to try this place since it opened a couple of months ago and finally got the chance. The girls and I made reservations for 7:15pm and when I arrived I noticed it is in a shopping plaza, where I parked. I walked into a spot that felt like I was on a boat and it was super cute. Ethan was our server and he did ok. He was new to the waiter game and was fairly young but he did his best. The lady bartender was a big help though. I started with the sangria and it was very tasty. The girls thought so as well. For my entrée I ordered the crab stuffed shrimp with mashed potatoes and broccoli. It was very tasty and the girls liked their meals as well. This is my first time being here from California. Honestly, I can't leave a good review. This was actually quite disappointing. We were here for my cousins wedding rehearsal. There was already a set menu for everything. I was informed that they did have 3 meetings with the managers about the whole setup. But the fact that all the food and organization is extremely terrible. It almost seems like none of the staff was notified that this was happening tonight. Half of our party didn't even receive their food and we've waited for 2-3hrs. Then they had told us that didn't have the black peppered sauce. It's like why didn't they even mention that to begin with instead of waiting and taking our order for the pasta?! It doesn't make any sense. I understand they're trying their best. But the communication within the staff definitely needs to be worked on. Because this was absolutely disappointing. The fact that they had 3 meetings with the managers and had this planned out but then finding out you guys don't even serve that sauce then having to wait for your own customers having to wait another 2hrs for their food is super ridiculous. I hate having to leave a bad review here especially because I brag about Aloha all the time inspire of the one bad experience I had prior but, here we are. Aloha just doesn't seem to be consistent. I came here with a group of friends and the situation literally just went from okay to frustrating to annoying. Our server was in training but she made many mistakes. Management was literally no better; I believe her name was Lin. We ordered 2 boil bags: bag D, bag A, po boy with coleslaw, pickles, and crab fries. The apps were brought out and it was great but suddenly things took a turn. Both of the seafood bags arrived to the table first. My order was missing the extra garlic and the added scallops, and had clams (which weren't supposed to be in it). My friends bag had head on shrimp although she requested head off. We called the server back to our table and explained the misunderstanding. She was super sweet and said that I could keep the bag with the clams and then she would bring me the scallops. She then told my friend she would have to figure out what to do with her order then mysteriously walked away. After a few minutes of waiting, and hearing nothing from our server, my friend was hungry she decided to open her bag and atleast eat the crab legs. I decided to go find her and was met with 2 other servers who said they would straighten out the order. Keep in mind, this entire time, the 3rd order with the po'boy and coleslaw still wasn't received by the third member of the table. We were told things would be coming out soon. It the became a game of cat and mouse because the servers would come to our table, go check with management, and return with more confusion. Finally, a server (not ours) came to our table and explained that I would be getting my scallops soon and that my friend would have to pick everything out of her boil bag except the shrimp so that they could take the original wrong order of shrimp back and bring her the head off shrimp. Meaning, that she would have to individually pick out all of the crab legs, corn clams, and potatoes from her bag!!! Pardon me? She clearly checked with management and this is what she was informed to do. We were totally stunned because how could management inform a patron at a table to pick food out of their order as if we were on a scavenger hunt? Can you imagine having to pick 1/2 pound of clams out of a bag? Crabs? Corn? And potatoes?! We very clearly told her that was absurd and we would not be doing that. She promptly left the table and returned a couple of minutes later stating that my friend wouldn't have to pick things out of the bag, that they would just bring her the correct shrimp. Finally, my friends po' boy was brought out. BUT the coleslaw was missing. So we had to call the server again to remind her about the coleslaw. Then came my scallops on a plate in garlic sauce, and my friends shrimp again in a plate, not a bag. Clearly the boil option was gone. In the midst of this, I also ordered aloha sauce on the side because the sauce in my bag and my friends just wasn't that good. One of the things I love about aloha is the fresh, juicy seafood, and the flavorful sauce. Unfortunately, the seafood was still cooked deliciously but the sauce was bland and flavorless. It was also extremely watered down which is why I had to ask for more sauce on the side. And finally to the bill... now, in no way, shape or form were we expecting our entire bill to be compensated but we did expect some sort of apology whether in the bill form because it was not a good dine in experience. Of course, nothing on the bill was comped! We could not believe it. I asked to speak to one of the servers who ofcourse couldn't do anything so she directed me to the manager Lin. Lin looked right through me when she came out to the area I was waiting which immediately gave me an idea of how the conversation was going to go. She was extremely cold and said she couldn't understand what the bill would be comped for. She stated that it was our servers first day so it wasn't her fault. Albeit, we did give grace to the server BUT it is also NOT our fault that it is her first week. She and the restaurant did a collectively poor job. We should not have to deal with constant mess ups and lack of accountability from management due to their service. Lin decided to finally comp sodas which were what? $3 max LOL and I was totally over it and disgusted. Aloha just can't seem to get it right. Today I felt undervalued, and unimportant. Management should really do a training on how to interact with customers and take accountability when wrong. Union is a wonderful town and it's residents shouldn't be made to feel less than by ownership who could care less. read more

The sauce and quality is and has been very consistent. I usually favor the house blend, which is all sauces in one. I came to Aloha for the first time this past friday. The restaurant is spacious and has plenty of seats. It's dimly lit inside and seems to have an overall nice vibe. The food was good. I loved the juicy Cajun flavor on my crab boil. I do wish there was a little more sauce. The drinks were really nice. Shout out to Nadia the waitress, she was really nice and helpful with her suggestions. The one downside is that the speakers were really loud so it was hard to hold a conversation without yelling a little. Decent place to get seafood. We went there for lunch. We got fried Scallops with cajun fries, crab meat fries, and a crab cake platter that came with sweet potato fries. They are a decent size and fill you up. The total bill came up to be around $45. If I did it over again, I would get fried scallops as appetizers and skip crab meat fries. Came to dine here with family and friends, the atmosphere was chill and laid back. My type of setting, the seafood was really fresh and the sauce was very good and flavorful. I choose to have the aloha sauce which is all the sauces they offer mixed in one. I gave this place 4 stars due to the Service, it was barely anyone in the restaurant so I felt the servers could've been more attentive. My sister ordered an item on the menu that never came out, even after the came to check on the table to make sure we received everything. Not sure if we just got unlucky after seeing all of these positive reviews but I was super bummed with the meal at Aloha. We ordered the Aloha combo with 1lb snow crab and 2lbs crawfish and everything was severely over cooked. The snow crab legs were on the smaller side which isn't a huge issue but the meat was definitely waterlogged on the inside. I asked if the crawfish were live vs frozen, was told yes, and I honestly wouldn't be surprised if they were frozen. They were also very over cooked, the meat was so dense and they were just a big letdown. They must have been boiled in water alone as they had no flavor inside which is the best part of crawfish. The sauce itself had good flavor, we got the Aloha special in medium but it was super thin. Corn and potatoes, same story, overcooked. The garlic bread we ordered was actually a deep fried breadstick, reminded me of funnel cake. Not exactly what we were picturing. Did a ton of searching in the area before coming here so this bums me out to write but won't come back. read more

so I went here tonight for the first time and had the worse service ever. our server was not attentive at all. He serviced my table and three other surrounding tables. he tried to manage all three at the same time taking orders between all of them instead of taking orders one table at a time, he never asked my group if we were good, if we needed napkins or drink refills. our server took partial orders, walked away and took orders from another table meanwhile half of our group was waiting for our orders to be taken. we all got our food at different times and our server never updated us and trying to get his attention to ask a question was quite difficult. my section watched other tables get better service and I had to keep saying to my server to focus, ask him to come right back and keep calling him. this was the worse dinning out experience I've ever had. our server went to get one of us a cup of ice and never came back with it. when asked questions about our food he couldn't even answer....first and last time at this location. after being extremely frustrated I didn't even want to eat my food but I did and luckily it was good. read more

Wow! What an amazing time! Was heading into NYC, however traffic was dreadful. Went to another establishment and we didn't stay due to the cleansingness of the establishment. Well we wanted seafood, So next on on our search was Aloha Krab. Located in a huge parking lot. The seating was very spacious in our server Tanya it was very very professional at all point with all our questions. The food tasted fresh and the drinks were very strong and on point. Looking forward to going on Friday or Saturday when they have karaoke or live band. Also hookah is being served. They have huge TV for Sunday football. The coconut shrimp was a SLAM DUNK they served it with a sweet sauce it was white ( like the walnut sauce in chinese dishes) DELICIOUS!!!
