The place was big, clean, and had lots of seating. Along with lots of parking spots and easy to locate. I got two order of the Big Pack Your Own Bowl. The portions were big and I wasn't expecting that. Their salmon and tuna taste fresh and well marinated. I won't really recommend getting the tofu as they were the best quality. The staff were friendly and nice. Though they did add raw onion in the bowls instead of maui onion. My order came out fast and tasted great. read more

Food is good but the attitude of the girl working up front was not it. (No name tag so i can't include her name) Came in around 6 and she didn't even really said hi, just looked irritated and there was noone else inside so it's not like it was busy. She didn't even ask to take my order i just started telling her what i wanted. Then she asked if it was here or to go . I said to go. And she didn't even tell me i could tap to pay. I just asked and she was like 'yep' After i walked to the side she definitely rolled her eyes. Long fake lashes. Brown hair. Maybe 18 years old? I wanted to try this place after getting a coupon for it at another nearby establishment. I had a hard time finding this place because the address kept taking me somewhere else. I got the big size which was $16. It tasted great but I think the price doesn't justify the size. You do get 2 different proteins with this size which is nice. I ended up getting seaweed on mine but I didn't ask for it which was a disappointment. Overall I'm not sure I would go again but it's worth trying out once. read more

In Poke bowls, especially after a workout, I value fresh flavors and fresh ingredients, since I realize there is a lot of variance to your bowl based on what sauces and toppings you add. In the few times I have been here, I have always been impressed with portions and have appreciated the family-owned vibe. They have a good selection of toppings for extra proteins and fiber and a wide selection of sauces that allow you to customize your bowl to your heart's content. Rice has been good and have had no complaints there. When you need a quick, fresh, and healthy poke bowl, I would recommend trying a tuna and salmon bowl here! read more

The sushi rice is terrible. The best part of sushi or Poké bowls is going to be how good the rice is along with the protein. The rice should have some firmness, a little fluff and stickiness to it. This rice tasted like old rice where it was hard and falling apart. I'm Asian I eat rice all the time and I can tell you that this was not fresh rice. read more

Probably better as a dine in instead of take out. The containers are stuffed and it's unappetizing. The orders seem to be inconsistent either being incorrect or portions are just inconsistent. Everything is fresh, but marinades don't seem to be accomplished and it's pricey for a salad $22 dollars for a large bowl which is about 1pound of various combinations. Maybe get larger takeout and actually marinade the tofu, tuna and salmon. Work on consistency in portions. read more

Not worth it one bit. Every "regular size" is going to cost you upwards $16 for a bowl that would normally be a small at any other poke place. For a poke place, you would think there were more choices for fish but there are only TWO choices. To add on, the other choices are tofu (an extra $3??), chicken, and shrimp. Doesn't make any sense at a place that prides itself for its poke. Having been to many poke places, the way they take orders is inefficient. Most places make the bowl in front of you and have it ready for you to pay, but you have to list X amount of ingredients, pay, then wait for your food. This definitely holds up the line as people have to decide without the actual food in front of them. It's all hidden behind the counter. The person taking orders was sweet, though. The flavor? Nonexistent. All I need to say. Ambiance isn't the greatest either; the place feels empty and the furniture isn't creative. Lighting in the back is lackluster keeping that back area pretty dark. The place feels like a gentrified hole. I would highly recommend driving farther to get some quality poke in the SW Houston area. read more

Want to try out this place to support neighbors restaurant but very disappointed. 2 stars is for customer the worker is very nice not the place or food. Not a typical poke place. They dont let you see all the food item you want to add on your bowl. You can only tell them from the menu name only. All size dish for poke bowl is very little to offer. I want to see how they make it in front of me so i can tell tell i want less sauce or heavy sauce. The bowl look bland. Wanted to give a shout out to this place. First of all this was my first time at a poke place, and the staff was so helpful and recommended a few options. The fish is fresh and my bowl was amazing. We went here for the first time. Customer service by the young guy at the register taking orders was awful right when we walked in. The young (maybe teen) guy was very unfriendly, not helpful at all as we asked about how to order, and his behavior was like he wanted to be as stoic as possible. There was another man and woman working who recognized the rude young guy at the register and they made a point to be kind, helpful, and attentive customer service. The food was excellent but the portions were very small for the high price. Wouldn't go back due to not wanting to give good money to the first face we saw at the register who acted awful. Lots of places on Richmond have excellent customer service and with prices this high, we'd rather go to a place that has all employees behaving professional and with nice customer service. Food looked good but theres barely any fish in it. It was like eating all veggies and sauce. The small bowl is way too small. They should have a bigger bowl so when you mix the poke its not overflowing out of the bowl. The service was great and the decor inside was good. For the money you pay ,I would expect fish in it. The place would have gotten 4 stars if there weren't so worried about making a big profit by giving me a few pieces of fish. read more
