Because during the hours of work or school dismissal this area transforming into a swirling vortex of Houston chaos, and I instead prefer my peace. I really can't get over the fact that they make Poke burritos here!!! It was encased in sushi rice & a seaweed wrap. When I tell you greatest invention EVER!!! I got the vegetarian version with fried tofu (gluten free, fried with veggie oil) and all the fixings inside. I love poke & I love sushi so this was a great blend of the two in some form or fashion. Highly recommend trying over the traditional bowl if you're feeling adventurous. This is also one of the cheaper poke places I've come across and the portions are grand. You can choose from one of their signature bowls or create your own. You can also choose to do a salad option. Additionally, they offer milk tea and fruit tea with boba or popping bubbles. There's ample seating indoors and outdoors but the aesthetics are more pleasing inside. The place wasn't too packed when I dined in but there was a steady flow of people so I'd say this place is pretty popular. The staff is really friendly and helpful as well. THE best poke place in all of Houston. Not exaggerating. I will drive 30 minutes out of my way to go to this place because it's so heckin good. I love getting their poke burritos because they load it up so fat! This is the only poke restaurant I've ever been to that isn't stingy with their fish and toppings. They have a ton of toppings and sauce options. I usually get the spicy salmon and spicy tuna with spicy ponzu sauce and spicy mayo plus nearly every topping they have. I love this spot. It's such a great value for the amount of food you get in the bowl. I get pretty much everything, and it never disappoints. The sushi is always fresh, and the toppings are as well. They never skimp on the topping either. If you ask for extra for most things, they'll add it. There are a few that are extra if you ask for extra, like the avocado, but the first spoonful is included which is great for me. Service is always fast, and the inside is always clean. I'm never worried about the quality of the food when I come here. I do wish that they'd serve some miso soup like a lot of other poke places but it's not something that I'd remove a star for. I also ordered their food from Uber Eats regularly and made it to their top 5% of customers on the app, DON'T JUDGE ME, lol!! I normally go straight for the Spicy Mayo as my sauce of choice, but they recommend and let me sample the Poke Yana sauce, and I'm hooked. I also mix it with the spicy mayo and OMG; it's bussin!!! When I'm in the mood for something light and yummy, I come here. I like the shrimp tempura wraps, but I've also had the bowls. They also make great recommendations on things to try. Oh my gosh, is the best way to describe this place. Honestly, when I was looking at the reviews. I was thinking that it was overhyped or there had to be some kind of alternative reason as to why it was 5 stars. But everything from the service, to the efficiency of the employees, or the freshness of the food. It was all above excellent. I had the pleasure of talking and being served by Matt and it was an absolute joy. He was very kind and gave me very good recommendations based around items that I already liked and knew that I wanted. If you have never had poke or have even never been to this shop before and you live in the area. This is a must go to location. The atmosphere is calming, but perfect for friends, family or even being alone, like I was today. My standards have definitely gone up since this place, i'm very happy! I think they have a pretty good selection of ingredients, but I wish they had soft shell crab or even imitation crab. Chicken and steak options just didn't seem like something you put in poke, which through me off. I got cooked shrimp, it was basically battered fried shrimp. Overall the quality of ingredients were great, price I think is fair with today's inflation. I would go back to get my poke fix in Cypress area. My only complaint is that they charge an extra $2 for seaweed salad, which I've never seen done at a poke place. read more

You pick your proteins, pick you base (white or brown rice, I get half white rice and half salad to cut some of the carbs), then pick from their dozens of toppings to make a personalized treat just for you! The serving size is plentiful and comes with a to-go lid if you couldn't finish (I couldn't). My bowl had: steamed white rice, salmon, shrimp, cucumber, kimchi, avocado, red onions, cilantro, carrots, masago, seaweed salad, wonton crisps, and eel sauce. A mouthful (but a delicious one).
