Thankfully I had just put towels into washer with some detergent before the water started flowing. I called Ohana Appliance Repair and a sweet lady answered my call, on a Sunday! She informed me that I would be added to Dustin's schedule and he would get back to me. I was waiting for a call tomorrow (Monday) but a white van appeared in my driveway and it was Dustin. He was in the Mililani area and saw my name and address on the request list and decided to stop by. I was nearly in tears! My 14 year old dog just passed away, now the washer is down but this sweet gentleman made the time. Turns out that the electric board was shot, and doing a price search revealed the new electric board and labor would be pretty expensive. Dustin suggested looking into buying a new washer since fixing it would be over half of what a new washer would cost. I asked Dustin if he accepted Venmo so I could pay him for the consultation. Dustin politely refused payment. It's a Sunday, Dustin could've very well been at home with his lovely wife and their new puppy, (yes, we shared our love of dogs with each other). Words cannot express how grateful my husband and I are for this way beyond exceptional service by Dustin at Ohana Appliance Repair. Also of importance is I have a 12 year old Dachshund who always barks at strangers especially men. Nope, not today. Brownie simply went to Dustin and gave him a good sniffing and approved of him. He quickly diagnosed a possible leak in the A/C line so we decided to get a new Mitsubishi unit to replace our old Fujitsu. After ordering a replacement, JayR came within 2 days to remove our old unit, mount and install our new unit, and explained how to operate and maintain our new system. We are now enjoying the comfort of a cool night's sleep! Yay! So impressed with their dedication and hard work! It was feeling not quite as cold and the fan seemed like it was working a little harder, so I wanted to get it cleaned before the hot summer months hit! I *hate* making phone calls, but the receptionist was SUPER nice, so that immediately put me at ease. Their quote was flat rate and very reasonable so I was happy I wouldn't be guessing how much it would come to at the end. She apologized for not being able to get me in the week I called but was able to fit me in the next week - which was faster than I had expected! The technician came at the quoted time and took about an hour, which is how long they had told me on the phone. It says something about other companies on island that this is a noteworthy comment! He was very friendly and worked quickly and efficiently. He showed me the visible spots he had cleaned, but the best thing is now our AC is back to being icy cold - I had to bump it up to make it warmer! - and it smells nice and clean. I paid in cash (there is a fee if you use card. You can also write a check if you prefer). We will definitely be happy to use this company again in the future!

Techs came out today to look it over went up in the attic said all looks good. Water is now leaking from the ceiling again. Second time this has happened, last time they claimed not their fault so we paid for the fix and, no issues until today... now more ceiling damage. Called the office no answer voice mail is full guess they dont deal with emergencies . Now we are pulling wet insulation from the ceiling plus other cleanup needs. I think the air conditioning wasn't working for about a week, but yesterday was the last straw. Father Adondee looked at me and said, "You'd better call someone." "Yes, Father!" I looked on my Yelp app for air conditioning repair and Jimmys AC Repair & Maintenance was the first business that popped up. This company had good reviews, so I called and they answered the phone right away. I told them that we were suffering and needed help. The receptionist said they would be there the next day... He stated that there's a flat fee of $250 plus tax to diagnose the unit. Okay... Thank you!!! Jimmy called before he came over. He was very professional and efficient. He introduced us to Jeff, his coworker that he was training. Cool! We showed them the unit. They opened the panel, and diagnosed the problem quickly! He explained everything well and understood that we would have to go through the Finance Council to approve a new air-conditioning unit. Jimmy understood that it would take time and that if we wanted to get other quotes and compare, other companies could be cheaper and that he's not the cheapest... but you get what you pay for... The white chemical residue from the cleaning product was left behind inside the oven and I had to clean the rest of the oven myself as you can see by the black stained rag and black water in the photos. The outside of the microwave was wiped down but the inside was completely overlooked. There were crumbs and food stains as shown in the photo. I would be embarrassed to recommend this company to friends and family and in the future I will do better research.

Had to have my car towed due to the check engine and other lights coming on and the engine running rough, and RNS Automotive was able to squeeze me in even though they were incredibly busy. Despite the tow truck taking longer than expected RNS still accommodated me when my car finally got there around 1 PM. They were able to diagnose and fix the problem by the next morning. I am sorry I didn't get a chance to speak with any of the mechanics, but Glory and Lee in the office were absolutely fantastic! Their courteousness and professionalism were outstanding. Also, this shop is honest. Integrity can be a rare commodity, especially in auto repair but RNS will not try and take advantage of their customers, which I truly appreciate. Thank you very much RNS!
