Sam was the greatest waitress! She took our drink orders quickly and had a sixth sense about what we needed. My sister and I split a crab quesadilla for an appetizer. Loaded with crab!! Amazing. We came here for breakfast on a Saturday morning in June. It was busy, but not too busy. We were greeted right away and shown to a table. Our waitress was absolutely amazing. She was quick, efficent, and friendly. She knew when to check up on us. We ordered the blackened shrimp benedict, the steak and eggs, and a short stack of French toast for the table. The food came out quickly. The shrimp wasn't blackened, and there wasn't really any seasoning. It wasn't bad though. The potatoes it came with were cooked well. They were crispy with a good skin. They had containers of maple syrup on the table already. I asked for hot sauce and it came in a plastic container too. The French toast was delicious, i really enjoyed it. It was an extra 3 bucks for your choice of fruit on top, I might do that next time. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The high top table we were sat at was pretty wobbly. Trying to cut into our food was a little dicey as the whole table would kind of shake. And right up by the servers station, so it was a little awkward. We ended up having to push some of the stuff and balance it at the side of the table/the servers station. And with the table wobbling, it was pretty uncomfortable. I went with friends on Thursday,July 30 for drinks early in the day. The bartender was on her phone several times while people were waiting for drinks. Maybe she was looking up drink recipes? The waitresses were waiting at the end of the bar. I think for their drinks. Mean while another bartender was standing cutting fruit the whole time. I've had his cosmos and they were delicious. Why wasn't he helping her. If she didn't know how to make those drinks why didn't she ask him? 4 more people showed up at the bar. My drink was empty, we all had to wait until she got off the phone. We were so confused as what was happening. Why was she on the phone multiple times while people were waiting. My friend said it happened last time she was there too. Why are phones allowed out during your working hours. Maybe I'm just old and have different work ethic. I had an amazing dining experience here last week with family friends. My appetizer was the pulled chicken nachos which were absolutely delicious and abundant. For the main course, I chose the Mixed BBQ special consisting of brisket, pulled pork, chicken wings and BBQ pork ribs. The pork Ribs fell of the bone and were amazingly tender. I can not recall having any better. The wings and pulled pork were also delicious. The only blemish occurred with the brisket strips which were tasty but slightly overcooked and a bit dry. Our server was professional yet friendly. Overall, I rate this restaurant a 4.6 and look forward to my return. View - the view is pretty ideal. You have a picturesque view of the water and the homes on the water. The sunset would be great from half the tables in the first floor. Chicken and waffles - I had the chicken and waffles which was solid. The chicken to waffle ratio was 1:1 meaning for every bite of chicken was a bite of waffle. The chicken was a fried thigh without the bone. Why not 5 stars? - it wasn't special. It is a solid spot with a great view and good vibes. But it isn't a restaurant that has a WOW quality. I would happily go again but it isn't a place that is "can't miss" or "plan your travel around" level. Pro tip: they have 10+ slips dedicated to boats/jet skis. I was SO happy with my experience here! Just such a fun vibe. Went with a group of four, including my 3 year old son, very family friendly! Great open air beach restaurant, great view regardless of where you sit. The food was pretty good over all. All the bbq we tried (burnt ends, pulled pork and ribs) were awesome!! The chicken tenders a little soggy (it was off the kids menu to be fair, and my son did not mind at all) and I'd probably skip the Mac n cheese next time, felt a little under seasoned to me. The tuna was fresh and delicious. The seaweed salad that came with it and was the only side was bad. My bf and I always order seaweed salad, but we both agreed it was probably the worst. Our friends didn't eat it and I saw a few other tables not touch the salad either. It was not nasty, it just lacked a lot of flavor. My bf ordered the shrimp tacos and that deserves a 10/10.
