Finding a place to park was kind of hectic but there is extra parking in the back and you can enter through the back entrance. When I walked inside the first thing I noticed was how nice and clean everything was. The decor also added to creating a very inviting atmosphere.  I decided to order the vanilla rose latte as well as the Kuki Butter boba. The vanilla and rose complimented the coffee without being too overpowering. The Kuki Butter boba was very rich and I couldn't finish it all in one sitting. The cashier says we don't remake drinks unless there is a problem with it and being too sweet isn't an issue. My friend payed for a new one. I found out when they returned to table and talked to manager who then gave a refund for the original one. No refund on the incompetent cashier giving a BS reason not to remake the original drink. Was it because a black women asked I don't know but when I went up a total different attitude. Received email response from owner only offering another lemonade on the house. Why wouldn't the manger offer that initially so situation not taken seriously smh no longer getting my business. read more

I had the most lovely experience at Aloha waffle bar today! Since I learned about them on Yelp last week, i've been dying to get my hands on that bubble waffle BLT with bacon aïoli. The staff welcomed me with a smile and were eager to take my order, I got that, a slide of Hawaiian BBQ chips, and a drink and was handed a pager while i waited in the front. The store is decorated with tropical flare, Hawaiian license plates, and even has a patio with a killer view! I soaked up the atmosphere and when my pager buzzed, I took a seat outside. The patio is right on the water and although it's not Hawaii, the view still adds to the ambiance of their tropical vibe! As for the food, I have been raving about it all day! The bubble waffle is stuffed with bits of bacon in each bubble, the lettuce is so fresh you would think it was delivered from a local farm just minutes before being assembled- the tomatoes were too! The bacon on the BLT was the perfect balance of fatty and lean, and the bacon aïoli drizzled on top was the glue that has this goodness together. I have never tasted anything like this, the sweetness of the waffle, along with the saltiness of the bacon, and the creaminess of the aïoli make this waffle sandwich a crunchy hand full of heaven on a plate. I will also note that the Hawaiian barbecue chips for the perfect accompaniment with these flavors but it is delicious on its own as well. side note: I cannot think the staff enough for their kindness. I love Aloha Waffle Bar! Ate here twice during a quick trip to Jacksonville. They serve a very fresh and flavorful Kona coffee. This location is nearby and offers so many selections that it took me a few minutes to decide what I wanted and I still came back to order more. My partner and I both got the Brunch waffles - it's basically a Monte Crisco, which I love. It's wrapped in a delicious bubble waffle and had yummy raspberry jam inside. You could choose between ham, spam or turkey as your meat. I loved the savory sweet option and it hit the spot. The back outdoor patio was nice and relaxing to enjoy on a beautiful sunny day. I did a create my own waffle (Shaka Waffle) Reese pieces, fresh strawberries, Nutella, caramel and cookie butter. When I tell you this waffle was sooooo good trust me. My friend had the Aloha Waffle she said she can't wait to go back for another. Service there was excellent. Atmosphere was very nice in the back of the shop it has a lake and some nice tables. I was expecting a waffle sandwich but this one really surpassed my expectations! We went to Aloha midday on a Sunday and a few tables were filled. It didn't take long for us to get to the counter to order. We both got the turkey bacon ranch melts and fruit teas - passionfruit tea with lychee jelly and mango tea with pineapple jelly. These sandwiches were delicious! A soft, slightly sweet waffle with bacon pieces in it was filled with several pieces of turkey, cheese, bacon that was slightly undercooked, lettuce, and tomato. Ranch and bacon aioli were on top. My one issue with the sandwich was that the sauces were poured a little heavy handed, much more than the promised "drizzle". Thankfully I caught them before they completed mine. The teas were good, probably a little sweeter than most places. I loved the level of sweetness but my friend didn't. I ordered mine frozen but I got it on ice. I was disappointed that they were out of boba, which appears to be a recurrent issue based on the reviews. Also apparently the teas come with either boba or a sinker, not both as the menu suggests. So they will charge you if you request both. In my opinion, they need to change the menu and indicate that somewhere in the store until the menu is corrected. Minus one star for the incorrect tea order, the lack of boba, the menu false advertising, and the amount of sauce on the sandwiches. The employees seemed completely overwhelmed so perhaps that is the root of the multiple issues. I'm looking forward to returning to try the dessert waffles! read more

Yes, to North Jacksonville for getting some variety. I am pleasantly surprised to have Aloha Waffle Bar in the River City Area. It's good to have a variety of desserts in this area with most business normally setting up shop further down in Jacksonville. This is definitely a win for North Jax. Aloha Waffle Bar is in a fairly new plaza in the River City area. If you don't pay attention, you may miss it. I was so pleased with my first visit. The esthetics of this place is so nice, and the smell of waffle is so nice. I decided on the Da Flo Ridian. It was so wonderful with the delicious soft waffle with the ice cream, whipped cream, cookie butter and strawberries. It reminded me of a strawberry short cake which is like one of my favorite cakes. I literally devoured this dessert in the parking lot. It was so good. I would happily go back to try to some more sweet treats. I want this place to last here in North Jax. Sprinkles in the bubble waffle topped with vanilla ice cream, more sprinkles and loaded cookie dough. This was absolutely delicious! The pirouettes were also a nice touch. These waffles were huge, rich and delicious. Everything you want in a dessert! They recommend sharing one but we wanted to try different flavors. We ended up taking about half of each waffle home.
