My babe was off so I ordered him the Iced 16oz Aloha Waffle Latte with Almond Milk, Cold Foam, but made it Half Sweet. For myself, I got the Lavender Kona Latte, Blended, Oat Milk, No Whip. When we got these they weren't individually labeled so we kinda had to guess which drink was which. But on the plus size we got to taste each others' drinks and they were potent. That's why I love Kona coffee, it's a punch to the face. I also got a Breakfast Waffle as I needed to eat something. The Havarti cheese is what got me and I paired that with Spam. Wish I wrote a review for the first time I came here. Review for second visit: I like the vibes of this place. It has a good amount of seating and lighting. Has music playing that's not too loud. There's even a corner table for board games. You can be served at the counter or use the self-serve tablet if you know your order. I ordered the brunch waffle, which is like a monte cristo breakfast waffle sandwich with sweet raspberry jam and spam or ham (I had spam). It was really good with the syrup. At first I regretted the extra sugar by requesting syrup, but that changed when I tasted it. I also ordered a tai milk tea. For some reason, I forgot that tai chi was my least favorite kind of tea, but when I took a sip, it wasn't so bad! It was a good kind of sweet, even though I ordered it as half sweet. Jeepers I am sooo conflicted in writing this review. I'll start with the positives - the young lady who took our order was just the sweetest person I have talked to in a really long time!! She was so friendly, and she answered all our questions with such kindness - she is just a gem!! Next, the food was good. Not great or anything to knock me off my feet though. But good. Now for the cons - it is SO EXPENSIVE. $60 later for 2 adults and one child, we left hungry. That's just nuts in my book for some waffles. I really wanted to support our local businesses but I honestly feel like I was ripped off. For $60 I could have gone to a lot of other places in the area and actually left feeling full. So super bummed about that. But the people are really friendly so I hate to give this review but unfortunately we won't be back - just not worth it IMO. read more

I've been having a craving for a Kona coffee for awhile now. Then I remember being told by friends about this place. I ordered at the register, but they do have two kiosks you can place your order in but it was already occupied. The girl at the register was very friendly and helpful after I told her it was my first time here. I remember going to the other location a few years ago and I really enjoying the concept and the food. As I was looking up a place to take my daughter for brunch, I saw that they now have a location at the beach. So we headed there to try the food. They shared that there are a few differences between the original location and this one, such as the offering of brisket here. I looked at the kids menu first and saw that they had a build your own waffle (Shaka) so we opted for that. And I found a low carb item on the menu - the bubble omelette, which was filled with cheese and bacon and topped with avocado. The bubble egg omelette looked like the bubble waffle and was tasty. The waffle was really good and the toppings were plentiful. My only issue was that the waffle was way too big for a kid. The staff were quick to tell me that the kids waffles are the same size as the adults. If so, then why have a kids menu? Just add the two other offerings - grilled cheese and PB&J to the regular menu. Or, offer kids the mini waffles that are on the menu as an option for a savory meal. The place is cute with an island vibe and they have small table top games that can be borrowed. On Sundays they offer Disney bingo at this location. read more

I visited the new Aloha Waffle Bar location in Jax Beach last week. Love the beachy decor and vibe plus my waffle was fantastic! I got The Brunch Waffle which is described as "an island style Monte Cristo" with turkey. The other protein options are ham or spam. When I tell you it hit the spot, believe me! I enjoy Kona coffee so I went with the Aloha Latte, half sweet (love that option!) plus white mocha syrup. I wasn't a fan of the syrup unfortunately, so next visit I'll definitely skip it so I can fully enjoy the Kona flavor. Another highlight of the visit was Ethan, one of the staff members. He brought my waffle to the table & was so friendly and helpful. I watched him approach the other tables with the same enthusiasm, and he checked in with me to ensure I was happy with my order. And we tried the chicken with the house-made honey mustard and then with syrup, Nashville Hot sauce, and a mix of both syrup and hot sauce (sweet and spicy)! All SO good! Amazing spot, we had such a great experience here. The food was fantastic and everything tasted incredibly fresh. We got the Aloha Waffle with strawberries and blueberries, and it was delicious and fresh. We also tried the Chicken & Waffle, which came with a ton of chicken and two dipping sauces. We went with the Korean BBQ and syrup, and both were excellent. The drinks were honestly some of the highlights. We had the Banana Foster Latte and the Shaken Brown Sugar Espresso, and both were unbelievable. Their coffee is a Kona blend imported fresh from Hawaii every week, and you can definitely taste the difference. We also had the chance to meet the owner, who was extremely friendly and welcoming. They even had a DJ playing music, which created a really fun atmosphere for families. Overall, a fantastic experience from the food and coffee to the service and atmosphere. I didn't get the girl's name at the counter but she was very sweet and answered my questions patiently as it was our first time going. The vibe was very Hawaiian chic, comfortable and calming. I stopped in to check out Aloha Waffle Bar and was very glad I did! The place is very cute, the service was amazing, and the waffle was sooo good! I was greeted as soon as I walked in. She explained they had a physical menu, barcode scanner menu, or a tablet menu with pictures, depending on your preference. You can order at the register, on your phone, or on the tablet. I think this is very thoughtful! I started at the tablet menu so I could see pictures, but ended up ordering with her at the register because I'd also been asking questions. One I ordered, I grabbed a seat and my order was brought out once ready. I ordered an Aloha Waffle and a brown sugar shaken espresso. They were both amazing. When deciding what to order, I noted I don't like super sweet things but I did have a sweet tooth. The Aloha waffle was the perfect recommendation. The waffle and whipped cream had just the right level of sweetness and the fresh fruit created the perfect balance. She also recommended I get half the brown sugar pumps they normal put in the shaken espresso and she was spot on with that recommendation as well. I had the 3BLT which was just the right combination of ingredients and the sweet waffle with the crispy bacon was really good! Service was great, love the option for self serve kiosks! I got the kuki butter latte and a lemonade for my daughter. I love all the add in options you get for the lemonades. My only con is that its pretty pricey, I paid $12 for both drinks and the coffee alone was around $10 but if you factor in the quality ingredients the price makes sense. Tasted amazing though!
