This location is a bit outside of the main Idyllwild town but it's worth the small detour. I saw the sign for the mushroom coffee Chagaccino and I ordered an iced version. It was a great pick me up for our drive out to end our nice weekend trip. The only thing con was a bit pricey but I was on vacay mode anyways. Super cute cafe! Great ambiance, loved all the plants and the overall vibe. It's connected to the Mile High cafe next door. I'm not usually a coffee drinker, but saw the Chaggacino and thought it was interesting so I tried it. I'm not the best person to judge coffee, but thought it was good (not too bitter, not too sweet). I also got the Vanilla London Fog and wow, that was amazing. You'll just have to try it yourself. Only downside was that these drinks are PRICEYYYYY! But not a huge deal since I only do this every now and then. Restrooms are for customers only. No issues finding parking. read more

Good drinks...TERRIBLE SERVICE. I usually don't leave reviews but I had to for this place. We came here at 11:30am on Friday and got two drinks--matcha latte and strawberry matcha latte. The drinks were good but I'd recommend the reg matcha latte over the strawberry. But here is why I can't give them a 5 star review--the service. Employees did not greet customers upon arrival. Our cashier was a girl in braids and her service was seriously lacking. We did take a minute to figure out what we wanted and she came back to take our order with an attitude. I had asked for a matcha latte and she sassed back asking for "wHaT MiLk?" and "wHaT SiZe?" When our drinks were ready, she just placed them there and did not even call them out or thank us. They do not offer cold foam, which the drinks could've used. The matchas were definitely light and had a good flavor though. There were lots of pretty plants in the shop & we bought a couple large springwater glass bottles to take back to our cabin here! The ambiance- I really wanted to like this place. Cute name, good menu item options and it was nice inside. However, the vibe was off. The employees- The employees didn't offer a greeting, definitely didn't want any friendly conversation or even to recommend anything. I even heard him mock another customer who came in for the breakfast burritos. I frequent coffee shops and am so used to everyone having a sunny, and caffeinated demeanor. I almost felt like I was back home in NYC where you don't expect or ask for good customer service. We were camping so I brought the burritos and lattes back to our campsite and was honestly disappointed. The food- The burritos were fairly small and 2 of them cost $26. They aren't even made to order, just sitting in a heated glass case. The coffee- My husband liked the chagaccino but my honey lavender latte didn't taste like honey, lavender or coffee. When I saw the Strawberry Matcha I HAD to come here. So even though it was about 28 degrees and we had to clean snow off the truck we made it. The inside is super cute and has chill vibes. There is an area to sit and order food but it was closed when we came. I think it's brunch only. So I got the Matcha and my husband got a spanish latte. The girl working the register was really sweet and answered all my husband's questions because he wanted to try something different. Both drinks were really good. The strawberry purée that's put in the matcha tastes like real strawberry, idk if it is, but it's does not have that fake strawberry syrup taste. Not too sweet either. A nice balance. It was my wife's and my first time here it's located down the mountain of Idyllwild parking is super limited but you shouldn't have a problem finding a table because they also have a outdoor patio. The environment is relaxing and calm. The decor is also pretty modern. The service out of everything was super disappointing we asked the server what one of the drinks had and she dismissed us and said that she did not know that we would have to ask to cashier up in front what it was made out of. When the food came took the server about 10 min to realize we had no utensils. The food was ok I had the bulgi bowl and on the menu it said it had quinoa but there was no quinoa and it said it came with hot sauce there was no hot sauce My wife had a California omelette which was pretty good . We stood at the "please wait to be seated" sign for like 5 minutes while 3 employees ignored us while one was eating at the bar, one eating behind the bar. Even had my husband drag our two little kids out of the car so we could eat. Only one table was seated in the dining area, not even busy, no one else waiting and the rest of the tables should be bussed and cleaned before you sit and eat in front of potential paying customers. Coffee was overpriced, they were out of lavender, chai and boba which were basically all three reasons we stopped here. The two employees there were nice and helpful with how busy they were. The area is small and cramped and the line was confusing to figure out, but another customer kindly directed people to the end of the line.
