i think this is one of the better coffee shops i've tried in the palm springs area. housemade syrups were great and i liked the espresso

Stopped by this super cute little coffee shop in Palm Springs and absolutely loved the vibe. The space is charming and welcoming -- perfect spot to cool off and relax for a bit. The staff was incredibly kind and friendly, which always makes such a difference. The coffee itself wasn't quite my personal favorite. I ordered mine with oat milk and the flavor just wasn't for me, but that's totally a preference thing. My daughter enjoyed hers, so it may have just been my specific order. Overall, it's a lovely spot with great service and a really cute atmosphere. I'd definitely go back and try something different next time! Sorry for the horrible picture. I definitely didn't take a nice picture of the cup.

After visiting the Tram Way in Palm Springs on a hot day, we were looking for a place with good drinks and comfortable seating to relax, and we found this little café. Ambiance: A small neighborhood café with a very pleasant and cozy atmosphere. Service: All the staff were friendly and happy to answer our questions, which made the experience more enjoyable. Drinks: The drinks were just okay; most of us couldn't even finish them, even though we were quite thirsty. Hours: We were surprised that they close early. We had hoped to relax and enjoy the café for a bit, but after ordering our drinks, we had to leave because they close at 3 PM something we didn't realize beforehand. Parking: Street parking is available and easy to find. The area wasn't too crowded.

Carrot cake latte and whole wheat muffin!

Decided to go in and try their carrot cake latte after looking at their post on insta. It was my second time coming here. I was greeted by the barista right away and took my order, luckily no line (1 hour before closing). I ordered the carrot cake latte and they only had a whole wheat muffin left, so decided to try it. I got the latte right away, just a little disappointed it didnt look like the insta pic. I didnt know I had to order the cold foam on top extra, by looking at the pic and reading the caption it made it seem it came like that (I love me some cold foam). The latte was still super yummy, and would recommend. I was pleasantly surprised by the muffin as well. Thanks for the good service!

    Soy Sugar-Free Vanilla Latte

Soy Sugar-Free Vanilla Latte: 5/5 I'm not sure if I was just in a good mood or Palm Springs just wasn't that hot this day, but the latte hit so good. I have very strong memories of drinking watery soy lattes and this one was creamy and not diluted at all. If we are all very honest, everyone sort of uses the same syrups and milks but I just really enjoyed it all and want to give a small coffee shop its flowers. Ambiance: Small neighborhood cafe, good vibes! Service: Employees were all very nice and answered all of our questions. They are all great baristas so are willing to help you craft your perfect drink! Parking: Street parking, but easy. I have not seen the area too busy.

Such a sweet low key coffee shop.. many years ago I was here when it was the tiki bar Deja but Had a great cold brew with pistachio and rose.So lovely. Inexpensive compared to other coffee shops Sit down relax and enjoy your coffee in a mug or glass Great quick service Calm mellow vibe with great tunes

Nice little place right on the main drive. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Thought my Mocha was good and others in my group liked their drinks as well. Had a muffin as well and liked it. The nice part of the experience was sitting on the patio and seeing the views of the mountains nearby.

Vanilla Matcha Latte and Vanilla Latte

After our not so great matcha experience at Cartel Coffee we decided to try Ernest Coffee which several locals recommended. It turned out to be a great choice. I ordered a vanilla iced latte and my wife went with a vanilla matcha latte. Both drinks were exactly what we were hoping for. The matcha had a nice balance of milk and flavoring without any bitterness and my latte was smooth and just the right amount of sweet. Nothing over the top or wildly unique but both were well made and really satisfying. The shop itself is spacious and inviting with cool decor and plenty of seating for studying hanging out or even playing games. Service was a bit quiet and very quick with more of a straightforward next in line vibe but everyone got their drinks promptly and it did not affect the quality. Overall we were happy to finally find a spot in Palm Springs that serves a solid matcha and a reliable latte. Ernest Coffee is a comfortable place to relax and enjoy a well made drink and we are glad we stopped in.

Pistachio Rose Latte with Almond. So good!
    Jonathan Z.

Loved the Pistachio Rose Latte. The pistachio bits at the bottom was a nice textural surprise and the flavor was on point. It's unique, nutty, not overly floral and not too sweet. They've got indoor and outdoor seating and one gender neutral bathroom. Friendly service up front and pretty quick too.

Coffee is delicious and service is quick and efficient. Tried the cinnamon pecan latte with oat milk. Only negative is I like my coffee hot and this was warm. It's a Portland, Oregon brand which is also served on Alaska Airlines

We came across this gem when we rented bikes at our hotel and roamed around town. The coffee shop is cute, small and quaint, and located in downtown Palm Springs. I ordered the iced lavender vanilla latte with oat milk, and it was really yummy! I loved that it had a hint of lavender and it was creamy. We went twice during that weekend because we loved it so much! My husband ordered the pistachio iced coffee and that was delicious as well. I highly recommend this place!

The flavor selection is rather small, but that means they get to focus more on the quality of their product. You can literally taste the difference just by sampling. Though I wanted everything (lmao), I ended up buying a single scoop each of rosemary and first date. Date is a classic & yummy flavor if you're in Palm Springs, duh... Rosemary, however, was interesting. I was worried it'd be too "grassy" or pungent because rosemary is a stronger tasting herb, but to my surprise, super well balanced with its vanilla bean base. Seriously, it was delicious. I'd like to come back for their rose pistachio and lemon meringue pie, if they still have those available. Highly recommend this spot especially if you've been hiking or out in the sun all day, it genuinely hit the spot. 100/10!!!!

The flavors here are unlike anything I've had before, and the baristas are so passionate and knowledgeable. They'll happily walk you through every flavor profile, which makes the whole experience even more fun. Now let's talk about my absolute favorite: Good Morning Vietnam. As a Vietnamese coffee lover, my standards are HIGH... and this completely exceeded them. It's rich, smooth, and perfectly balanced--not overly sweet. The pandan flavor is such a nostalgic, authentic touch that takes it to the next level. And the best part? They make it with oat milk condensed milk! Like... how genius is that?! This was my second visit, and I still haven't found a coffee I enjoy. This time I ordered the Good Morning Vietnam, which is supposed to be similar to Vietnamese coffee, but I wouldn't recommend it. The flavor just wasn't there for me, and I think the recipe could use some work. The biggest downside was the price. My coffee came out to over $13 with tax, which felt very expensive for what I received. Overall, while I appreciate the atmosphere and service, the coffee and pricing don't justify a return visit for me.

As an Event Planner myself, I truly appreciate when a venue takes the time to listen and accommodate -- and The Social Cafe absolutely delivered on that front. The setup was perfect for our mixer.
